Good Morning Swamp -today we bury a real hero. J Randy Barnes a Combat Medic from Vietnam. I have known Randy for 35 years he is a friend a Brother Veteran and a hell of a man. Randy no matter what Party you belonged to fought for you if you where a veteran. He was part of the reason Rep. Steve Buyer could not cut veterans with PTSD off their benefits. He fought every cut to veterans health care put out by Clinton and Bush. Randy has been called to God's Army and will be missed by this Veteran . I now have a hole in mt heart. RIP J. Randy Barnes you where a better person then I will ever be.

Combat medics, in all wars, were among the most loved of all vets. And, I have learned, the Vietnam War combat Medics in particular.
Many, as you know, were consciences objectors, that went into combat unarmed, and many many earned Stars of all sorts.
Keep up your good work Dale, and hats off to Randy.
