He may not have the biggest campaign fund or the hottest best seller among the Democratic presidential candidates, but Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware on Saturday distinguished himself as the guy most intent on apology.
Biden told Democratic National Committee members gathered for their winter meeting that he regrets offending people by recently calling Obama the first African-American presidential candidate who is “articulate and bright and clean.”
Biden took the podium in front of the audience of hundreds and opened his address with, “So, how was your week?” When the applause died down, he shook his head with downcast eyes and told fellow Democrats he regretted giving offense to “people I admire very much.” He thanked Democrats for judging those remarks “by my history and my heart.”

My only question about Senator Biden's apologize is "who originally said it"?

Good thing Biden is a Democrat, because that allows the Democrats to show how forgiving they can be...

Anyone can stumble over words, but I'm concerned about Biden's lack of preparation for the obvious questions he should have known he'd be asked on the day he declared. He's bright, has many fine qualities - but this makes me wonder just how big his ego is. He apparently assumed all questions would be about him. Been there, done that - I want something else.
