As Sen. Barack Obama arrived at Springfield, Ill.'s President Abraham Lincoln Hotel this evening on the eve of his official announcement that he's running for president, he was greeted first by Will County Board President Larry Walsh, a former state Senate colleage and poker partner of Obama's.
"Feel good," Obama told a crowd of about 100 supporters and members of the media.
Obama also gave a hug to Senate President Emil Jones (D-Chicago) who is regarded as Obama's political mentor. Saying, "I'm excited to be back in Springfield with all my friends,'' he declined to talk about his speech.

I did not see sixty minutes, but I have to laugh at Paulos' comment of the obvious. Hate to break it to you but thats the way it is. Living in the south you can see it every day. It doesn't have to be the outragiously racist comments that you hear, although that exists, but right down to the subtle. I truely feel I am not a racist, and have always stood against such hate, but even I notice that when I shake hands with a black man, I use the hood shake (I think you know what I mean). My father used to write articles for the Richmond (VA) times against the racist hate and we would get death threats and broken windows. Where do you think those people went? They all didn't die. Do you think they reformed? How come every time a thread about Obama comes out it is mentioned? He is black...he not black enough? Hate to break it to ya buddy but thats just the plain and simple truth. You may wish this to be something you can use politicaly against BO but it is you that are wrong.

"A crowd of abut 100 supporters and members of the media".
In other words, 10 supporters and 90 reporters.
