Rep. Christopher Shays plans to oppose legislation to set timelines for ending U.S. involvement in Iraq, a vote that could prove to be one of the most politically difficult - and even damaging - he could cast this year.
Shays has been calling for an exit strategy for some time, and his southwestern Connecticut district is viewed as a hotbed of anti-war sentiment, as I report in today's Hartford Courant

Why is this CT stuff in the Chicago Tribune? Does one Chicagoan in 100 know who Chris Shays is, let alone care about him and his alleged dilemmas?
