Tony Snow, White House press secretary and survivor of colon cancer, will undergo chemotherapy for cancer that has spread to his liver, following surgery for removal of a growth in his abdomen that was found to be cancerous, the White House said this morning.

Snow informed the president this morning by telephone that the growth removed from his lower abdomen on Monday was cancerous and that the cancer had spread to his liver, Deputy Press Secretary Dana Perino said in a tearful report from the podium of the press briefing room.

"He said he is going to be going after it as aggressively as he can,'' Perino said. ""If anyone can beat it again, it's Tony Snow.''

"His attitude is one that he is not going to let this whip him,'' President Bush said this morning, stepping out of the Oval Office to deliver a brief statement in the Rose Garden. "And he is upbeat. My attitude is that we need to pray for him and for his family. Obviously a lot of folks here in the White House worry a lot about their friend, as do Laura and I. My message to Tony is, 'Stay strong, a lot of people love you and care for you and will pray for you.'''

President Bush learned of Snow's condition early this morning.

Snow, 51, and a father of three, was treated for colon cancer two years ago while working as a commentator for and show host for Fox News. He underwent chemotherapy after removal of his colon in 2005, and recently has faced testing for a growth that first was discovered last year in his lower right abdomen.

Snow's mother had died of colon cancer.

He became White House press secretary in April, becoming chief spokesman for Bush at perhaps the most difficult juncture in Bush's presidency, with Snow believing that he had beaten his disease -- though he always has maintained that "each day is a gift'' and daily wears a bracelet as a symbol of strength for cancer survivors.

Snow also has undergone regular CAT scans, the White House said today. And within the past few weeks, he had said last week, doctors were monitoring the growth in his lower abdomen – it had tested negative for cancer in CAT scans and blood tests, but had grown.

He underwent surgery for removal of the growth and also exploratory surgery on Monday.

"Unfortunately, the growth was cancerous,'' said Perino, who had spoken with Snow for several minutes this morning, first learning of the disease, and said he is starting to speak with his physicians about chemotherapy.

"It was hard news for us, and I didn’t cry until this moment,'' said Perino, delivering an emotional report from the podium where Snow works.

Perino had stepped in to take Snow's place this week for what was expected to be a three-week stint while he recovered from surgery, but said now the future is uncertain.

"We’re hoping for all the best,'' Bush said. "I’m looking forward to the day that he comes back to the White House and briefs the press corps on the decisions that I’m making and why I’m making them.’’

Snow, in the meantime, has turned uncharacteristically silent as he confronts his illness.

"He is going to decline further comment, except to say that he is up walking around, and he is comfortable,'' Perino told reporters in the briefing room. "He said, 'Tell them not to bug me.'''

"When I talked to him, he was in very good spirits,'' Perino said, with a joke about the daily press briefer's duties. "He talked to me about talking points…. He knew what was going on in the world.''

Snow had spoken with the president earlier this morning. "The president and Mrs. Bush and the whole White House team has him in our prayers,'' Perino said. "We're pulling for Tony. We certainly gain strength from his optimism. He said he is going to beat it again.''

Today is a very sad day. My hopes and prayers are with Tony Snow in his fight against cancer.

Keep fighting, Tony!

This is very bad news. Hopefully and prayerfully Mr. Snow can beat cancer again, most especially for the sake of his family.

And, please, but can we all be respectful toward Mr. Snow and his family? Can we please not let stupid political BS infiltrate in here?

God Bless, Tony, may your spirits remain high and your life full of happiness and good health.

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Snows' return and spreading of his cancer. Although we stand on different sides of the aisle, I stand with him in his fight against this disease. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with him.

To Tony & family, best wishes!

One can only pray that Tony will get the support for whatever he decides to do, and the strength to ignore his distractors.

Second cancer?

"It's a number."

As a human being first, an American second and a Democrat third, my best wishes go out to Mr. Snow and his family. Issues like this are above politics. Good luck and get better soon!

as a mother of a child who survived liver cancer, I know Tony can fight the good fight and beat this. My prayers and thoughts are with him and his family.

God Bless You!

Keep up the good fight, Tony.

Dear Tony:
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family! You will beat this Tony!

Jim
Portland, Maine

I was so sad to hear the news. Have faith, Tony, that you can beat this. We think you are wonderful.

I hope he can beat the odds and return to health.

All the best to Tony Snow & the Snow family.

To all the others ripping into the Edwards family for publicizing & talking about their cancer to gain sympathy & advance their political gain; Which among you will criticize Bush for talking about Snow’s cancer?

Actually he has colon cancer that spread to the liver, not liver cancer. Two different things that require different treatment.

Best wishes to Mr. Snow and his family. It will be a difficult time ahead for you and I hope it's no more rough than it absolutely needs to be.

My thoughts are with Tony and his family. If he can stand up daily in front a pack of hungry political reporters waiting for him to slip up and falter, beating cancer should be a walk in the park.

Get well soon.

A man finds a snake in the "snow" and brings it back to his "cabinet" for warmth. When the snake heats up it bites him. The man asks: "Why did you bite me?" And the snake replies: "Do you mean that after Hurricane Katrina, the failure to build a 911 memorial, tortures in Abugrabe & Gitmo, the Alberto Gonzales political firings, the Patriot Act, Donald Rumsfeld, Illegal wire taps, the failure to support our wounded troops while in Walter Reed Medical Hospital, the Haliburton Scandal, and the unwarrented invasion of Iraq, that you haven't realized that I was a snake? The question that you should be asking yourself is: Why Wouldn't I Bite You by Saying I Have Cancer?"

get well

The tragic circumstances that have occurred to Mr. Snow and Mrs. Edwards underscore what is really important in life...and should be important in Washington where there is so much mean and meaningless personal acrimony. Congress and the administration could do so much more for the American public by developing a more expanded and full attack on cancer and other diseases which affect millions of persons rather than the current continuing excessive strife which only depresses reasoned individuals everywhere.

My best wishes and thoughts go out to you and your family. You WILL beat this! Your spirit, drive and heart will help you overcome. You have inspired me in many way's and believe you have touched others with your professional manner and humble tone.

I think we should all send our best wishes ans support along with our prayers to Tony Snow, Elizabeth Edwards or anyone else afflicted with this terrible disease. Forget which side of the isle you're on. We're all human beings and we should treasure life at all times.

Church lady-

I truly hav no idea what your post was supposed to mean, but clearly you are interjecting unwanted politics into what has been a civil, ppositive thread supporting a man suffereing from a terrible illness.

It's inappropriate. Please take it elsewhere.

Tony, listen to your doctors, stay home and get some rest so you can beat this thing. And don't let anyone drag you out on the campaign trail for them, like what Mrs.Edwards has to put up with for her ego driven husband and his 11.4% poll average.
Be safe and get well to both!
Paulo

Good news. He is a cancer. Good riddance, Snow-Job Tony Snow...

My mother died at the age of 52 after an 8 yr battle with cancer. It started in her colon, moved to her abdomen and liver, each mass was removed successfuly but the complications from the major surgeries she had caused her digestive system to shut down, eventually causing her death in June 2006. It was not a pretty sight and I wish Mr Snow and his family all the best but it's not a good prognosis. Good Luck and God Speed!

Tony is a class act, a strong man, and a positive thinker. I second the President's comment that if anyone can beat this, Tony can. He has a wonderful family, more friends than he can count, and the prayers of America.

Tony's mom, who was a nurse, passed away from colon cancer when Tony was young; he knows his adversary. Since he developed ulcerative colitis many years ago (which has a higher risk for cancer after ten years of the disease), Tony took every precaution. He is a thoughtful, soft-spoken man, but he is also a focused and dedicated artist and professional.

God bless you Tony. We are with you in this fight.

From a person who has lost loved ones to cancer, may Elizabeth Edwards and Tony Snow and everyone else inflicted with this deadly disease come clean from it. Maybe if the billions of dollars wasted in Iraq had been put to better use maybe today we would be reading about cures for cancer.

Paulo..you are beyond contempt.

I am bereft at this news. Tony's wry wit and deft handling of the briefings show him to be resiliant and positive. He'll need these qualities going forward. Godspeed, Tony, and God Bless you and your family in this arduous battle.

I often wonder how people like Church Lady and Steve can look in the mirror. Please go somewhere else.

Think he's paying for all this medical care with a market-based Health Savings Account?

Nah, neither did I.

Godspeed, Tony Snow.

Whatever happened to "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything"?

Church Lady (she ain't no lady & I hope she' doesn't belong to mine), Steve, and Paulo should have said nothing. You three should be ashamed of yourselves.

I hope that Mr. Gregory of NBC news feels some kind of remorse. He does NOT deserve to be in the business of gathering news. I wonder if he has any feelings about the way he attempted to be the JERK that he is. Mr. Snow is a CLASS act. Journalism is in good hands with Tony fending off stupid JERKS like Mr. Gregory. Our prayers go with him and may he have many more years of healthy news reporting.

Tony and family:God has you in His care. He brought you to this point and He will get you through it. Be strong. I, too, had colon cancer and have passed the one year survival point, so I do feel a connection with you and this disease.
Any money "wasted in Iraq" probably would be going towards something else, so "Master of Reality" would be complaining about something else and putting the blame somewhere else. The remarks from the "church lady" and "Steve" only point out what hateful people they must be.Ignorant people like that must be ignored as you battle the next step in your recovery.
God speed to you and your family.

Don't particularly like Snow. Can't stand his boss (he's on the same plane as steve, paulo and church lady). Having battled the big C with my wife my only thoughts are get as well as you can and enjoy your life.

Posted by: Kathy | Mar 27, 2007 1:12:49 PM

Why no outrage at Paulos' remarks? I will assume you didn't read it because if you had, I would find a little hypocrisy in your post.

Bill r., I missed paulo's remark on the first read through. But I agree, his remark sucks, too.

Paulo,

Everyone handles illness, tragedy and the other problems that come into their lives in different ways. It is a very personal thing.

Let's look at an unrelated subject. Brett Favre's wife continues to recover from breast cancer. Should he have stopped playing football? (And I'm a huge Bear's fan so I wish he would!!) But that is for each family to decide.

There's a very good chance Mrs. Edwards is an extremly strong willed lady who wouldn't let her husband quit the race even if he wanted to.

What ever the Snow's decide, is the right one. Whatever the Edward's decide, is the right one. FOR THEM!!!

May God bless both their families.

Paulo, once again, you prove you have nothing to add to the swamp.

Tony Snow is a man who is driven more then you realize. He will get-up asap & go back to work, even if his doctors advise against it. This is what makes him & how he will approach his battle with cancer. He’s not one to sit around & wait & hope he’ll get better. Tony’s approach helping himself will be no different then Elizabeth’s. They may be on different sides politically but their tactics to win against cancer will be the same.

May I suggest you look up what “double-standard” means.

Comments are not posted immediately. We review them first in an effort to remove foul language, commercial messages, irrelevancies and unfair attacks. Thank you for your patience.

Yeah, right.
Amazing how these threads always go south.

Good luck Mr. Snow, Mrs. Edwards, and anyone else suffering through difficult diseases.

My prayers for Tony and his family. I am so sad to hear this news.

I would like to add that for the most part here in what can be a very argumentative posting area, that it's heartening to see prayers and well wishes from both sides of the aisle.

And Steve,

I'm ashamed for Steve's evrywhere. You are a pathetic jerk.

While I might not always agree with him, he is absolutely deserved of our prayers.

Keep the good fight going Tony! We're behind you, no matter what our political affiliation might be...

Since Paulo is one of my own (conservative) I will condemn his remark.

However, this post by Steve is even more sickening and grotesque:
"Good news. He is a cancer. Good riddance, Snow-Job Tony Snow."

While Paulo makes his political he does not wish ill health or death on Mrs. Edwards.

And then we have the rantings by Church Lady.

It is such a shame that someone's ill health, and life-threatening health, can be treated in such a vile way by Steve and Church Lady. Such comments are truly of a sub-human form.

John D...I agree that steves post is just garbage. I wish we were the caring country we used to be.

I simply cannot believe that people like Steve, Paulo and church
lady can tolerate their own evil thoughts and hold their heads
up.
How can anyone wish such ill will to anyone else? I hope they
believe in Karma!
Get well, Tony!

Crying Jeff,

Do you agree with Paulo's comment??

Who wrote the headline of this Swamp piece? It's very misleading and should be changed. Tony Snow is suffering a metastasis of colon cancer to the liver. The phrase "Liver Cancer" is used for those whose original cancer starts in the liver. The treatments and prognosis are very different for each.

My best wishes to Mr. Snow. I'm in the same boat with him, with cancer that started about the same time. Mine metastasized right out of the gate in early `05 and I'm seriously lucky to be here typing this. The odds with metastasized colon cancer are very grim. I'm talking about less than 1% 5-year survival and around 1% 3-year survival. He'll need all the luck he can get.

Paula you never miss a chance to show your character, or should I say lack thereof. Your an embarrassment to all of us who walk upright. Church lady, very unfunny joke. Lastly on the subject of Tony Snow I think most of the White House press core think very highly of him. He's done a great job handling a White House that has almost no good news to report to the press, and for that should be applauded. I wish him the best on the rough road ahead. May God give him strength. p.s. Paula doesn't it hurt when your knuckles drag???

Tony,

You, your family and doctors are in my prayers.
May God give you a miracle cure.

Tony, I wish everyone new how neat/cool you are.
You are a wonderful person.

As for as David Gregory of NBC, he reminds me of a village idiot.

As Ray mentioned Tony is a first class act and David is a jerk. Well said Ray.

God bless you Tony.

Read my post at 1:25, John E.

John D, your right Steve is a scumbag. Can't leave out how reprehensible his comment was. There Paula you have at least two other people in whatever primordial cesspool you quasi-simeons swim in!!!

Tony, I think that whatever church Church Lady attends, there's not a lot of compassion taught there.

It's sad to see that the creeps with no soul or heart can make such nasty remarks about Tony Snow. Remember karma is a witch.

Logic prisoner, don't forget Steve. He may be the most blatant knuckledragger we've seen today.

Ok Jeff,were good.

I am waiting for Loony Lefters to condemn the remarks from Steve and Church Lady. John E., where is your criticism of those two? While Paulo's post is very unfortunate and I've already criticized him, he has not wished ill health or been gleeful of Mrs. Edwards' situation like has been done to Mr. Snow by a couple of Loony Lefters here.

Come on, guys, I'm waiting!

I think you're all getting confused about my posts.
Mr.Snow will do what's right, listen to his doctors, rest and take time off from his job, while Mr.Edwards wants to drag his sickly wife out on the campaign trail for months to come.
This is ying vs.yang, positive vs.negative....why do people have a problem with that.
Family comes first. Get over it!
I just hope they both beat this...cancer is deadly and trumps a 11.7% poll rating.

Paulo

Tony Snow is an inspiration to all. Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease is an increasing epidemic. Eventually leading to colon cancer, or other failure's related to the kidney's and liver. I urge anyone in their mid-teens to late twenties that is experiencing "IBS" to have futher tests. To many times doctor's settle for the IBS diagnosis because usually blood tests are normal. At first periods of flare up are short leading the patient to believe the IBS diagnosis is a result of not eating right. Most people have not heard of either disease, but I assure you in time you will. Tony Snow had his colon removed due to Ulcerative Colitis, not the colon cancer. Even the media does not understand this condition. May peace find you Mr. Snow.

Well, if I wasn't good with you, John E., I just don't think I could bear it. Still waiting for you or Tony to denounce steve's truly inhuman comments. I won't hold my breath.

Guy's a tool. But I hope he can beat this.

Cancer doesnt care about politics, religion, race or income level. Cancer doesnt care about your mother, your father, your sister, brother, husband or wife.

Cancer sucks, whether you're Mr. Snow or that guy waiting for the bus on the corner right now.

Here you go Crying Jeff,

Steve's comments were wrong.

Paulo-- I think you're a little confused, period. Mrs. Edwards' condition is vastly different from Mr. Snow's. When she says she "feels great" she's not being some amazing worldbeater who shrugs off symptoms that drive others into bed. She really does feel great. The microscopic metastasis isn't impacting her at all, and won't for quite a while. Mr. Snow, on the other hand, is already prepping himself for more surgery and heavyduty chemotherapy. His entire colon has already been removed (as opposed to Mrs. Edwards' loss of one or two breasts), and the lack of water uptake normally carried out in the colon is a serious pre-operative concern. Snow must act quickly to save his life. Mrs. Edwards will be easing into a medium-to-light chemo schedule. Do you understand now?

Paulo ( or is that Paula ) nobody is confused about yer posts. Your a jerk! So for that matter are my fellow Loony Lefters Church Scabies, and her scabrous cohort Steve. There John D are ya happy now.

My prayers are with Tony Snow and his family. I wish him the best. p.s. John D lose the Loony Lefter phrase, it's stupid and lacks any imagination. Then again maybe that's all you guys bring to the table. Uninspiring dreck.

Mr.Snow,

I sincerely hope you beat this. The world is a better place with you in it, and I mean that, regardless of how I view your political beliefs.

I was very sorry to hear this. I hope Mr. Snow beats the odds and wish him and his family good luck and courage.

Paulo,

We all understand exactly what you're saying. You are a heartless wretch along with Steve and the inappropriately named Church Lady. Your polyannish "why does anyone have a problem with that" is too disengenuous of a question to justify a response.

Read what you wrote again. Now try writing a post that does not demean another cancer survivor or impugn their motives. You are a desperately sad "human being." Go rot.

Though I wholeheartedly disagree with Mr. Snow and particularly his boss on about every issue imaginable, I nonetheless wish Tony and Elizabeth Edwards the best in dealing with this awful affliction.

What people like Paulo don’t get is both Elizabeth & Tony are fighting a deadly disease, but while Elizabeth was ridiculed for making it public those same people have either shut-up their criticism of Tony going public or offer nothing but well wishes for him.

Both have beat cancer in their past. Both have moved on to continue productive & successful lives. Both now confront the evils of cancer again. If their past is any indication, they will both beat it & won’t be doing it sitting down.

Neither side out here is in a position to argue that one is doing it right or wrong, especially since both have beaten cancer & done so in ways some won’t agree with, including doctors.

To those who wish ill-will for either, you’d best learn to take notes on how to overcome a life-threatening illness & study their examples. You might need those notes someday.

Me old ma'r would be a slappin' some mouths right about now.

Tony,

I hope all gets well. You are a strong man. God willing you will beat this cancer. God bless you.

"Who wrote the headline of this Swamp piece? It's very misleading and should be changed. Tony Snow is suffering a metastasis of colon cancer to the liver. The phrase "Liver Cancer" is used for those whose original cancer starts in the liver. The treatments and prognosis are very different for each."

Jim, you beat me to this, but I think it bears repeating. The headline is not only wrong, it's irresponsible. There are many of us (including myself) who have mets to the liver from other types of cancer. When I was being diagnosed, for a few (blessedly) short days, I thought I had liver cancer. The results of an Internet search scared the hell out of me. I would hate to have someone get false information by taking off in the wrong direction in search of a prognosis or treatment, or to unwittingly spread false information about Tony Snow's prognosis.

That said, it sounds like this is quite serious. My heart goes out to Tony Snow. I wish him well.

With all the persons that have contributed greatly in the Swamp, thank you for your kindness....

Remember, only a very small handful of persons are of the ignorant and cruel status....

I am a liberal and I want Mr. Snow to recover as soon as possible!!!! He is a VERY intellegent man and, watching him on Real Time, has a caring side....

Mrs. Edwards could of easily stayed home and not partake in life. Her husband, was and would be, an assest to this country and she knows that....

She is a very brave person!

I suspect I would of isolated myself from everyone in both their situations....That's not healthy!!!!

God Bless both Mrs. Edwards and Mr. Snow!!!!

And, please, no comments on how Mr. Snow is a bad guy and the same for John Edwards....

Miles

While I have compassion for his family and their struggle to survive through this I have little sympathy for Mr. Snow. Sorry folk, cannot be a hypocrite and say....this man who speaks lies to the country first on TV and now as a government offical...now gets a pass and my compassion. When he reflects back on his life and figures out all the damage he has help to do to this country and other countries...then on that day will I start to discern my feelings of anger towards him and try to work my self to a place of forgiveness then compassion for his plight.

Our prayers and wishes of recovery go out to Tony Snow, and Sen. and Mrs. Edwards, and their families and friends,at this most difficult time.

It is indeed heartening to read the many sincere wishes of hope and prayer, from people of all political persuasions, walks of life and beliefs, for Mr. Snow and Mrs. Edwards and their respective recoveries.

Sadly, there are also a small group who seem to devote their every waking hour on proving there is also another type of cancer, the sadest of all: cancer of the soul. Pity them.

Dear Tony,

I am so sorry to hear about your illness. I am a moderate Democrat, who has watched you often on FoxNews, long before you became President's Bush's Press Secretary. You are great Tony, truly "Fair and Balanced". And you have made a wonderful Press Secretary. I knew you would. We all need you, Tony. You've got lots more work to do here. Please get well. I am praying for you. God bless you and your family.

Sincerely,
Gerarda

How can anyone Democrat or Republican say anything bad about either Tony Snow or Elizabeth Edwards ? These are people fighting for their life not a damn election. Two in particular Steve and " Church Lady " ? ( What religious church do YOU belong to that wishes bad things happen to good people)I wonder who these two will blame if cancer one day becomes part of their life

Jeff, of course I denounce Steve's comment. You can also see I was the very first to denounce Church lady's comment.

Feel better?

Wil, you can be added to the human scum of Steve and Church Lady. Snow didn't lie on TV and if anyone watched him when he hosted Fox News Sunday would know he asked tough questions to Democrats and Republicans on the program. As far as lies as Bush press secretary, that's nonsense too. Spin, sure, but no lies.

But to put your political lunacy over someone's health is beyond contempt.

By the way, was Chris Wallace OK before working at Fox News? What about Brit Hume when he was on ABC? Or how about Bill Hemmer when he was at CNN?

What a loser, Wil.

I feel much better, Tony. Let's get to work on that anti-pork legislation!

My compassion goes to the countless ten of thousands killed and mamed by the administration that you and the administration Snow is the mouth piece totally ignore.

It will be easy for me to stand before my God with my observation of the evil this man has been part of.

Jeff your words about me are nasty. Wow, I am so hurt....not. How much thought went into that comment? Did you spend all night coming up with that quaint and original discussion point? Note you didn't respond to any of my points against Mr. Snow.

Wil....I am not a fan of this war and also feel
this is not a just war. However, that is only my opinion, and with me not being the one who is all knowing there is room for human error. What I do know is that it is not for me to judge a mans soul, and untill he is judged, I will continue to respect life and wish no ill to any man. If religion is what guides you, I believe there is room for compassion and caring.

I am only human. Just look back at the rabbid responses we have had on here these past few weeks from these haters who promote war and go after freedoms of those of us who are citizens of this country. Then...one of their own, haters, is down and I am suppose to forget about all the war and death and all the hate expoused by them here on this board.

I would never wish cancer on anyone including Mister Snow. I just am against all the hypocracy by those who love the administration and those "progressives" who sit on their butt and try to love everyone (at the expense of 100,000 dieing) and millions loosing right in this very country.

Sorry....I am not Jesus. I am human with flaws. Strange how my feelings don't cost lives or rights.......

Wil, if you're human I'm ashamed to call myself one. You've lost the right to call yourself that. You're lower than pondscum. What were you referring to before? This is the very first post I've made reference to you and your pathetic little diatribe. Are you talking about John D.'s correct condemnation of you?

You don't deserve to call yourself human, Wil, if you have no compassion for someone suffering from an ugly disease like cancer. Go somewhere else and spell poorly. Hypocrisy, thy name is Wil.

It's what killed my dad 25 years ago...and his mother 35 years before that...

sigh...

Tony Snow, apparently, has a great sense of humor about the pondscum wishing ill of him. Nice to see he knows the idiots are out there.

http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54911

To Wil in Lincoln Square I do not know you so I do not want to call you an idiot but you sure are ignorant. " Count of tens of thousands mamed or killed by this administration" Where are your figures from? The problem with most far left liberals like you is you claim to be open minded. But as an ex-democrat ( Jimmy Carter was the last dem I voted for in 1976 when I was a very immature 18 years old) . Liberals act like they are open minded but if you do not agree with them they are so full of HATE. Jerks on so many of these liberal sites are saying Tony Snow deserves cancer to come back because he's a republican. Wil in case you have never opened a history book, wars have been going on for years and years and years and yet you liberals act like war was something George Bush invented. I thank God everyday I am no longer a democrat. I prefer to consider myself a conservatitive independent . Not that all democrats are bad. Not all democrats are liberal but most liberals are democrats

Folks, after watching my mom battle breast cancer twice resuting in the loss of a breast, skin cancer and now bone cancer, if anyone knows of anyone who has battled or is battling cancer, any sane and caring person would not wish or be gleeful about someone's cancer. And if you know what cancer does to a person (not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well) and still wish for or be gleeful about cancer, then your life is nothing but an overflowing sewage system.

How sad that people are so ignorant that they think politics and human personal suffering are the same. These are two separate issues. We all have political beliefs. We (most of us) are compassionate human beings. The hate mongers are in a class all by themselves. They are to be pitied. Mr. Snow and Mrs. Edwards are the brave ones, I wish them well.

Dear Tony,
you and i got colon cancer about the same time.I know we can be healed by Gods hand.I had just found out i had a tumor on my lung (from previous Breast Cancer) about the same time you had
found out yours was in your liver so once again we share a common ground. I pray that you are recovering as i am and i'm sure there will be something else popping up but you know we can handle it.Trust in God and i'm sure he will take care of us.
