Leading Democratic presidential candidates Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. Hillary Clinton will go head-to-head Tuesday in Des Moines, with both delivering a policy speech at exactly the same time and within a few miles of each other.
Obama will host a 10 a.m. town hall meeting on the nation's economy, and how he believes the cost of the Iraq war is hurting Americans. Clinton, meanwhile, will give a policy speech on the war.
Radio Iowa's O. Kay Henderson reports that Clinton was the first to pick Des Moines as a venue on Tuesday, making her announcement on the speech over the weekend. Obama's campaign did not announce the Des Moines event until Monday.

Cheryl,
Why do you think RNC Bruce hates our military and wants them to keep getting killed in the middle of the Iraqi Civil war?

Doug,
I think he's paid by the GOP to post here.

Cheryl,
Do you think the RNC is getting their $s worth?

You know the RNC is dead if the best they can produce is Bruce, John D and Jerry White from Springfield.

When are Clinton and Obama going to start the real mudslinging? I'm sure they have people working around the clock digging up dirt on each other, and they both have enough money for an all out war. Wake me up when they stop railing about Bush and start going after each other.

So, Swamp. Is this your setup for tomorrow's headline: "More people show up at Barack's event than Hillary's" (as you no doubt hope)?
Rather than bore us with the latest (more scientific) polling results, which evidence Senator Clinton's greater support, you'll inevitably hype headcounts at some rally if they favor Senator Obama.
Yes, I do suspect the novelty of Senator Obama will result in the larger crowd. If it didn't? Well now, that would be the real story. Will you hype that as well...?

Herbie H.,
Wake me up when Mitt "Varming Hunter" Romney takes on John "Baghdad's Safe" McCain and then we can compare notes.

They say Clinton has more experience than Obama.
They say Americans should be nostalgic over the yester years of Bill's Administration.
But what do American people think?
They think that its better to have zero experience than wrong experience.
they think its better to live real life than live in the false world of fantasy.
What I am trying to say is that President Bush is simply a victim of Bill Clinton Failures.
All the problems that President Bush has been trying to deal with in the last seven years were actually incubated by the Clinton administration.
To illustrate my point, sample this:
1)The Al quida terror group estblished its roots both in Asia and Africa during the period between 1992 to 2000 remember the Embassy Bombings in East Africa. Clinton Administration did virtually nothing to contain Alquida at their formative stage other than hitting the wrong targets in Sudan.
2)The HIV and AIDS scourge became the leading single deadliest killer in the world and especially in Africa during the reign of sir Bill Clinton, thanks Bush administration this has now been contained in many parts of the world.
3)The arms race in middle East ran out of control between 1992 and 2000 When Bill was in White House.
Hillary herself voted for the Iraq war. However, now that it has gone bad, she has completely distanced herself from the mess.
Hillary has absolutely no moral authority to give any policy speech on the war. she is wolve in a sheep skin.
