by Mark Silva

The White House said today that the five small polyps found in President Bush's colonoscopy on Saturday proved to be benign, but because five were found he will undergo another similar exam in three years -- closer than this past, five-year check-up.

Each was “a garden-variety polyp’,'' said White House Press Secretary Tony Snow, following an exam of the polyps, smaller than one centimeter removed at Camp David and taken for study at the National Naval Medical Center at Bethesda. All were "benign,'' according to Snow.

Explaining the call for another colonoscopy in three years, he said, "You just have to be sure, and wehen you have the growth of polyps you have to keep an eye on what develops..’’

"It's the way it is, the way they do it,'' said Snow, who is undergoing his own treatment for colon cancer that has spread to his liver. "It’s not unusual, trust me, to find polyps.’’

What else was in there?...Gonzo, Scooter, Wolfie, Rupert Murdoch?

...I understand the President is going to nominate one of his polyps to the Supreme Court...

Interesting, apparently polyps and Loony Lefties are one and the same. So many of you have been trying to get up Bush's behind that five of you actually were successful!

...and Bush wants the other polyps kept alive as he considers them a form of life that must be protected...

Why is this relevant to anything?!?!

Darn! The polyps are benign. Sadly, the rest of the Cheneybush bile is not. At least Satancheney didn't destroy the world on Saturday. We'll probably find the land mines he laid during those few hours in the coming months.

Not to make light of the situation but...
News that the president performed a self examination of his colon as his head was already up there, while highly plausible, were reported as erroneous by Tony Snow at this morning's press briefing.

The polyps should replace Gonzo. I bet they're smarter and more honest!!!

To "snalg", and all of the other people with such comments: You are the most ingnorant people I have ever heard/read. You have all expressed your opinions of Mr. Bush over the last couple of years. But there is a time and place to put all of the pre-juvenile aside, and this is it. I will guarantee, 110%, that if this were a story about Hillary finding lumps in her breast and they were benign you would all be praising her bravery. If these blogs represent the best you have to blog about regarding an extremely serious issue like cancer, do all of us a favor and don't write. Might I suggest you think twice about breeding as well!

Rob S., I agree with your comments, cancer is not a humorous issue. Unfortunately, you are dealing with the worst mankind has to offer: The Loony Left. Similar sentiments as snalg were voiced about Tony Snow and his recurrence of cancer. Most, not all, on the Left are demented, sick, psychopathic people who have no understanding or value of human life. They make members of Al Qaeda look like Disney characters.

Rob S.,
Such emotional sentiment. You may well be turning into one of those touchy-feeley liberals. Watch out.
Let's not suppose what would happen until it happens.
Relax or you might pop a vein. That WOULD be tragic.
Jonh D, don't egg poor Rob on. It's obvious a nerve was hit. No sense in piling on the acrimony.

Rob S, I apologise for the damage done to your thin skin.

Best Regards

John D & Rob S,

Actually, some of us are sincere in that we believe the States, the world and humanity would be better off if Bush and Cheney were no longer walking the face of the earth. I happen to value the thousands of lives (american, iraqi and others) that those two are responsible for taking more than I do those two pathetic excuses for human beings.

AS a QMRP in the State of Illinois, let me state without reservation that anonymous, you are about as retarded as they come (if nothing else, your spelling is a clue). Left, Righ, Conservative, Liberal does not matter. We spend billions per month fighting an enemy that has no regard for human life e.g. 9/11, Pentagon.
Now, here we have supposedly free, educated people showing LITTLE OR NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE. Anonymous, Jerry, et.al., take a good long look in the mirror. You have a lot more in common with Bin Laden that you may care to admit. I have no nerve that you or anybody else on this blog can hit. I am appalled that the people ("anonymous", etc) would actually hold the same respect for human life as the terrorists we fight.

Rob S. & John D.

Being the genius you obviously believe yourself to be, explain how you guarantee an idea 110%. That's irrational. But, you and John D. frequently belch out irrational tirades, so.... blech on, my friend, belch on. Satancheney and Chimpy McFlightsuit need all the bitterness you can spew to help keep them afloat in a sea of bile, hatred, death, criminal behavior & treason. Does it feel safe an snug down there in the bottom 26%?

At last count, there is more American blood on the mis-administration's hands than anybody in recent history, bin laden included. So be careful when you talk about little or no respect for life. If earboy and president chainsaw really respected life, they'd have stayed out of Iraq and IN Afghanistan, where our real enemies are.

5 polyps were benevolently freed from a giant tumor.
