If you watch the coverage on the BBC, it's nothing like what CNN is doing. CNN is All Terror, All the Time. The BBC is much calmer, doesn't automatically assumed it's Qaida, and generally isn't trying to scare the crap out of the people watching.

I thought we had to fight them over there so that we didn't fight them in the streets of Western Civilization?

Loons, loons, loons, what you folks fail to realize is that some of these terrorists are home-grown, either lived in England for years or born there.

But for educational purposes, the majority of them is still in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. fighting the military forces of the U.S. and Iraqis.

Way to go, take a good news story- terrorists unsuccessfully attempt to kill innocents- and make it a what's the big deal story..

How far will you twist yourself before actually admitting that there are people that want to kill westerners ? It is seriously commical.. in a macabre way. Once again the left is in a postion of
1. being hurt politically by the fact there is a global war on terror.
2. Minimizing incidents like this to rationalize the Dem political " they are fear mongers" position.

This is a success- no innocent people died- and unfortunately only one terrorist is in paradise with 72 virgins right now.

I've never said these people don't exist. What I've said is that "We are fighting them over there, so we don't fight them over here" is ridiculous because these are global networks. Only a fool would believe we could bog down every single terrorist in Iraq or Afghanistan. As if they don't exist anywhere else. We will always have terrorism. Your policy is creating more terrorists.

John: The last time I checked, The "terrorists" were not "terrorizing" (killing themselves, civilians, and our soldiers ) in Iraq until we showed up. Regardless of political affiliation, you need to start admitting that this policy is severely misguided at best.

I love how the word "terrorist" is now the catch all (like communist was) for all things that SHOULD BE making me be afraid but for some reason (because I am capable of thinking) aren't. Mommy, Mommy puhlease don't let the big bad 120 pound illiterate, impoverished, and malnourished terrorist (who trained on a playground jungle gym) hurt me!
