Here's a Saturday afternoon for you:
C-SPAN will provide live coverage of the Iowa Republican Straw Poll -- in its entirety -- at Iowa State University in Ames. A preview, featuring Des Moines Register political writer Tom Beaumont, will start at 12:30 p.m. EDT. Coverage of the straw poll will run from 1-4:30 p.m.
Now, neither former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani nor Arizona Sen. John McCain of Arizona is competing in the party's straw poll in Iowa, which apparently will play into the hands of former Gov. Mitt Romney of Massachusetts. But, among those competing for the symbolic title of straw poll winner -- which has led to election to the White House only once in nearly three decades -- this is the order of candidates for president addressing the audience:
Mitt Romney
Rep. Tom Tancredo
John Cox
Rep. Ron Paul
Former Gov. Mike Huckabee
Rep. Duncan Hunter
Former Gov. Tommy Thompson
Sen. Sam Brownback
C-SPAN’s program, “Road to the White House,'' will mark 20 years on the air in 2008.

Bill R., that would be the reporter forgot to mention, not the editor. Reporters report and write, editors generally do not. Seems like nothing was left off the table, so to speak.

BC, why do I provide information if you can't find it, read it, comprehend it?
Here from the Swamp post is this:
Left wing Loons, the source of that information is Byron York of National Review. You may discredit it all you want, but you see the information he provides in that piece comes directly from the records, not some made up memo like CBS News used.
Also, if you read the article (and here again you Leftist Loons have that reading and comprehension problem we've noted on several occasions), you will note that Bush's time with the Alabama National Guard came at the end of his Guard duty and in that year he did the MINIMUM time and was granted his release from the Guard becuase the Vietnam War was coming to an end, he had lived up to and SURPASSED his duties in the Guard and because he also went back to school. As the article notes, Bush served for nearly 5 1/2 years of his six-year commitment.

And again, no fairy tale as Bush's record in the National Guard is DOCUMENTED and Byron York references the documents, unlike the fake memo story on CBS.
