President Bush is meeting with Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai at Camp David.
Vice President Cheney is speaking at the 84th Marine Corps League National Convention in Albuquerque.
Aug. 6 - 8. HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES — The National Toxicology Program Center for the Evaluation of Risks to Human Reproduction of the NIH holds a three-day meeting of the Second Bisphenol A Expert Panel to work on a report on the potential reproductive and developmental hazards of bisphenol A. Bisphenol A is a high production volume chemical used in the production of epoxy resins, polyester resins, polycarbonate plastics and other items, including food and drink packaging.

Aug. 6 - 9. UNMANNED VEHICLE CONVENTION — The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International holds its North America convention featuring displays of unmanned systems hardware, technical sessions, technology briefings and reports.
7 a.m. Buses depart from the Washington Convention Center for the Unmanned Systems Demonstration at Webster Field, St. Inigoes, MD. Event 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

10 a.m. TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT — The Campaign to Stop Red Light Running holds a news conference to kick off the 2007 observance of National Stop on Red Week, with former world super middleweight champion Jeff “Left Hook” Lacy.
Location: National Press Club.
12 p.m. - 2 p.m. CYBERSPACE-INTERNATIONAL — The Hudson Institute hosts a luncheon seminar for the fourth installment of its Telecommunications, Information, and Security Policy Seminar series, focusing on international dimension of cyberspace. Speaker is Seymour Goodman, Professor of International Affairs and Computing at Georgia Tech. Goodman will lead this discussion on the extent of the internationalization of cyberspace, specific international problems and weaknesses that add to cyberspace insecurity, especially relating to Africa, and will discuss some forms of international cooperation that might help alleviate these problems.

Let's send George Bush over to Afghanistan to meet with Karzai out in the middle of an opium poppy field instead of comfy-cozy Camp David. Let Bush put his lazy a** on the line for a change.
