The National Italian American Foundation is holding its 32nd Annual Awards Gala and Convention, with First lady Laura Bush speaking at the luncheon.
Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays is holding its national convention in nearby Tysons Corner.
The Georgetown University Law Center is holding a conference on immigrant rights and international human rights.
