They won't get credit in the media, but the Bush Administration has handled the North Korea situation exceptionally well.
Too early to tell for sure, but it does appear that the NK nuclear threat is
diminishing, North and South are making progress in reunification and the multi-nation involvement that Bush insisted on
has worked. Too bad Bush's name isn't Obama or Clinton.

You are correct, Madison. If Clintoon or Obama were president, the media would be all over em like a puppy dog on a chew bone salivating like there is no tomorrow.
The Bush administration was this. Now, we have to see if the North Koreans actually live up to the agreements. In the past, they have not.

I knew somebody would be coming up with this myth. Bush doesn't talk, negotiate, or deal with anybody. Bush and his axis of evil speach did not stop Korea from getting "the bomb". Really...you don't know what is happening yet.

How could this have been accomplished without invading his country and occupying it with 160,000 troops for over 4 years?
Through a word foreign to almost everybody in the Bush administration: "DIPLOMACY".

Bill R,
We do know where the North Koreans got the nuclear technology from, correct?
BC,
Diplomacy with Saddam - For how many years was Saddam thumbing his nose at the U.N.? Read U.N Resolution 1441. Alll Saddam had to do was prove that the WMDs had been destroyed and there would have been no problem.

Bill R,
BTW, where did North Korea get the nuclear technology?
BC,
Diplomacy with Saddam. I believe the UN tried that for a decade - didn't work. All Saddam had to do was produce the evidence that he destroyed the WMDs. Go Read UN Resolution 1441

Terry,
Hans Blix and the investigative teams NEVER FOUND any evidence of nuclear weapons in Iraq even after numerous trips throughout Iraq.
