Setting the table for Thanksgiving?
Don't forget to set a place for Hillary Clinton. Or Barack Obama. Or Rudy Giuliani.
These are the presidential candidates whom voters say they'd most like to have over for Thanksgiving dinner, according to the results of a Quinnipiac University poll coming out this morning -- stay tuned for the full details, here in the Swamp, at release time this morning.
Funny about this dinner-table camraderie question: These are the same three candidates whom most voters cited for leadership abilities in another poll reported on here in the Swamp.
Leadership: Pass the gravy, please.

Since the DNC Swamp can't be trusted to report on the Republican race, here's the latest GOP numbers from the Gallup/USA Today Poll:
"Rudy Giuliani remains the top contender in the national race for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination in the United States, according to a poll by Gallup released by USA Today. 28 per cent of respondents would back the former New York City mayor in a 2008 primary.
Actor and former Tennessee senator Fred Thompson is second with 19 per cent, followed by Arizona senator John McCain with 13 per cent, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney with 12 per cent, and former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee with 10 per cent. Support is lower for Texas congressman Ron Paul, Colorado congressman Tom Tancredo, and California congressman Duncan Hunter."
The Dem numbers from the same poll show Clinton 48%, Obama 21%. A disaster for St. Barack, so we'll see if the DNC Swamp reports these numbers.

I actually had a dream about Giuliani being at my Thanksgiving dinner.
He was sitting across from me, and we were talking and he asked if there was anyone I would never vote for, and I answered without hesitation "Rudy Giuliani" in a way that seemed like I forgot or didn't know who I was talking to. Everyone in the room was mortified and they slowly backed out of the room, but we both played it off. It was really weird.
I would never vote for Rudolph Louis Giuliani, who is more Bush than Bush, and the scariest neocon fascist S.O.B. currently running for President.
