Odds are favoring Hillary Clinton in Nevada, on the eve of a Democratic candidates' debate in the January caucus state.
The New York senator holds a large lead over her rivals among likely Nevada Democratic caucus goers, according to a new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll released today.
Clinton draws the support of 51 percent of those surveyed, Her closest rival, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, draws 23 percent in this poll, former Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina 11.
"Clinton's advantage among Democratic caucus goers appears to be based on the perception that she is the most electable candidate and the strongest leader in the field," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said today.
Sixty-three percent of the Democratic caucus-goers surveyed in Nevada view Clinton as having the best chance of beating the eventual Republican nominee. Only 42 percent said she has the clearest position on the issues and only 40 percent called her the most likeable.
The rest of the pack lining up for a CNN-sponored debate in Las Vegas pull single-digit support in the survey: New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson 5 percent; Sen. Joe Biden of Delaware 4 percent, former Sen. Mike Gravel of Alaska 1 percent, Ohio's Rep. Dennis Kucinich 1 percent and Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut less than 1 percent.
The debate will begin at 8 p.m. EST Thursday.
The poll, conducted Nov. 9-13, involved interviews surveyed 389 likely Democratic caucus goers and carries a possible margin of error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.

"Odds are favoring Hillary Clinton in Nevada, on the eve of a Democratic candidates' debate".
Don't believe the hype, the odds were favoring "President" Howard Dean in 04 and look how that turned out.
Democrats aren't sheeple like Republicans are, they take their time, they want to make sure that they are making the right decision on who they vote for, Republicans always vote for who their masters (Rush, Bill-O, Sean Insanity) tell them to vote for.

Hillary is now against the Driver License for illegal immigrants in NY.
The Clinton's campaign has now become a "big joke".

Hilly needs to come out swinging and let the boys know she won't just lie down for the abuse. She is the most qualified candidate and I applaud her restraint. I cannot wait to welcome our new Madame President into office.

Would that be as big of a joke as a pro-abortion, pro-gun control, pro-immigration conservative such as Guiliani?

Odds are favoring the media is getting prepared for the battle of New Yawk superstars in the campaign of the Century between Hillary/Bill and Don Giuliani. All the pundits and players have their chalk boards ready, the mobile satellite dishes are being staged for placement at the two camps, producers are lining up live interviews, and you know what? They are going to realize that American people mean business when they say they want change. They do not want the stale old crap that we've been fed for the last 20 years and are going to chose a candidate who is not tainted by old politics and policies and has a fresh new vision.
The media designated front runners in both parties cite experience as their major asset, but neither talks about having vision. So we shall see how the odds change when they have to talk about how they see the U.S. the World and the destiny of the American people.

Why is the Chicago paper's blog telling me what time the debate starts on the east coast.
Dear Tribune:
Chicago is located in the Central or "Chicago Time Zone".
Thanks,
The Management
