Obama: Oprah adds 'fun' to campaign

It's nice to see that someone who is respected worldwide, Oprah, is also tired of seeing the Republic Party get our kids in Iraq killed for nothing and selling out our countries wealth to communist China.

Mike Hucksterabee, a b-rate Republican Prez candidate, has a b-rate actor/karate guy (Chuck Norris) and a washed up rock star draftdodger (Ted Nugent) supporting his fundamenalist campaign, sorry I'll take Oprah over those two anyday. GO BARACK!

If you are drawing in the type people who might not otherwise be interested in politics, but they know Oprah is coming, what makes you think that you talking about issues will change their minds. Oprah is coming! It must be good! I understand. Maybe Hillary can get Dr. Phil. Anyway, here's a blast from the past. Once upon a time Obama gave a speech on too much Pair Hilton and not enough Dar Fur.

Glad to see he took a stop at Oprah Land to get noticed. Whose principle in life is being rich, thin, young, famous, safe, entertained, and encourage us from a position of power(money).

(Yes I know, but Oprah has done so much good. Ok fair game.)

Why does "John E" care who Oprah, Chuck Norris, and Ted Nugent support? NO ONE SHOULD CARE WHAT ENTERTAINERS THINK OF THE CANDIDATES. Some of you just need to find out where these candidates stand on the main issues... like the Upper Bowl and Tay Fisher's headband.

If in fact it is true that Mr.Obama will not,if elected,place his hand on the bible nor put is hand to chest for the pledge,how then can someone like Oprah endorse him?
If she does and it is true about him I give my work I will never watch or buy anything that her name is on has anything to do with ,I will have lost all respect for her.
I do not expect this to gbe posted as it not in favor of her or him.

Geri is one of those kind of people you run into all the time at meetings or gatherings where something serious is being discussed and they drag some old bull feces out of their brain and just put a whole cabash on the discussion. Or, somebody who farts quietly, but strongly, in the middle of a group of people just to see who's eyes start watering first. Geri, you go girl. Fart on.

Who cares if oprah supports a politician??? I hope that people just dont blindly follow candidates based on their favorite actors endorsements. If they do they shouldnt even vote because they cant think for themselves. If the black voters vote for a politician because of his/her color, they too should be revoked with their rights to vote.

Why is it a problem that Oprah is endorsing a "black" candidate. When a "White" person endorses a "White" candidate it is taken for granted that they are endorsing someone whom they share belief/politics with. So why can't Oprah endorsing Obama be seen as her endorsing someone whom she believes in.

The value of Oprah Winfrey giving Barack Obama a political endorsement is highly questionalble and suspicious, at this point Oprah Winfrey has just emwerged from a scandal becuase she showed a decided lack of good character judgement that resulted in several of her precious girls that she loves very much being molested.

Here failure to recognize Barack Obama's flaws:
*lack of experience, my local head of commissioners has a lot more experiencee than Mr. Obama

*former cocaine user

*incessant amount of tickets that were never paid off while in "law school" no less

*not a real winner, people talk about Obama's being trustworthy but does anyone believe that he won the illionis senate honestly, someone leaked the fact that his illinois opponent had been a swinger with his former wife and his opponent dropped out of the race, leaving allan keyes to step into the race and hand the race to Obama by a landslide

*A liar, Obama promised his consituents that he would not run for office he would be a senator, their senator, he has been anything but their senator, he even missed the key vote on whether Iran is a rogue state and then had the umption to try to use it against Hillary Clinton.

these flaws that Miss Winfrey fails to realize and acknowledge that Obama has leads me to question whether Ms. Winfrey adequately did a background check on the adults who were to be guardians of the young girls in South Africa. As for me and my house I will not be trusting OPRAH to choose my President. She can't even hire a principal of a school let alone choose a president.

It would certainly look like Oprah's campaign for Obama is based soley on being the black candidate. Did she campaign for Bill? Al Gore? Kerry? for the nomination? Has anyone heard Oprah espouse any specific reasons tied to solely owned stances of Obama? I haven't. I seriusly doubt Oprah would be campaigning for him if Obama was not black.
As much as she has critisized others for supporting people based solely on race ... she has shown what a total hypocrit she is ... just like most liberals.

So how does Ms. Winfrey say "thank you" to these American women and girls who have made her the woman she is today. She establishes a leadership academy for girls in a foreign country. How dare she. She ought to be ashamed. That leadership academy should have been established in the United States, to give back to the community that has given Ms. Winfrey the ability to establish such a school. Secondly Obama as president.WE ARE STILL LAUGHING…
Maybe he would be more helpful to Oprah to run her school, since the girls are being abused…

Would you elect a presidential candidate such as Barack Obama based upon an endorsement by someone who endorsed scams which bilked large amounts of money from the public? How about an endorsement from someone who endorses people who champion violent terrorists, mass murderers and slave owners? Maybe not, but what if the endorser is very well known and has her own television show? OK, well, I can't be talking about Oprah Winfrey, Right?... but I am. I am speaking of the Oprah Winfrey Cult. Before you go to the next comment thinking that I am exaggerating or making reckless and baseless comments, take the deepest breath of your life and read on just a little bit more to see the justification.

In the beginning of 2007, Oprah Winfrey had a number of shows dedicated to a scam known as "The Secret". On Oprah's show and other shows hosting by others, this "The Secret” promoted pyramid schemes and made either misleading or outright false claims about their product. This is the same crowd who blamed the workers at the Twin Towers for their own deaths because they were at the wrong place at the wrong time because of their "bad thoughts”. The proof of these false "Secret" claims were made on countless websites, and respected magazines such as Newsweek and Nightline. Oprah not only endorsed this snake oil known infamously as; “The Secret" but she championed it and placed herself at the top of the pyramid of lies and deceit. "The Secret" used Oprah's shows as shameless infomercials and propaganda, and Oprah pandered endlessly to them. "The Secret" also praised a slave owner numerous times. While it may seem out of character for Oprah to allow uncontested praise of slave owners by the guests on her show, keep in mind that these slaves were white and not black--which may have made the difference for Oprah. Oprah is quick to use the race card such as when she was in Paris and demanded that a fancy store stay open just for her and when it didn’t recognize her as the head of the Oprah Cult—Oprah cried racism against the store. Not that I am suggesting that Oprah is a racist, but put this together with the fact Oprah only will support a black candidate (Barack Obama) without due consideration of other candidates. Moreover, Oprah supports Obama despite the fact that Obama shares a stage with a well known bigot. So it makes one wonder about whether Oprah is a racist in her support of Obama. Or perhaps Oprah is a very poor judge of character as witnessed by her championing of; “The Secret" which is now the subject of world wide criminal fraud investigations and lawsuits. Consider another choice of guest endorsed by Oprah. The fake doctor, who performed surgery on Kanye West's mother and then later died, was booked on Oprah and endorsed. Consider also Oprah’s choice of child abusing employees for her school. In either case, Oprah's endorsement of Obama has no meaning beyond a tv personality cynically trying to whip up some more interest in her tv show ratings, while pretending to show interest in humanity.
