FAIRFIELD, Iowa -- Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama will appear next week at the Googleplex in Mountain View, Calif., the latest presidential candidate to visit the Silicon Valley powerhouse.
The Illinois Democrat will hold a town hall meeting with Google employees on Wednesday.
Obama just finished his first campaign stop of the day here, on what is day three of a six-day visit to the early voting state of Iowa.

Cops have to write a certain number of tickets a day, or else they may lose their jobs.
Similarly, it appears from the above trifle that Trib scribbler John McCormick has to meet a daily quota (4? 6?) of Obama promotional stories.

So it would seem, Bruce. And I can count on the fingers of a single hand the number of these pieces in the past year that had any merit.
And I'll dismiss right now the standard "The Tribune is An Illinois Newspaper" excuse:
The Swamp appears in the websites over half-a-dozen newspaper websites across the country.

There goes Bruce, spouting another lie once again. As if he knows what it's like to put your life on the line day in and day out to protect the community. When did you become anti-cop Bruce? And using your logic do you believe that the military has to find a war to fight every so often otherwise they may lose their jobs?

This is interesting news. Google. He visited farms, auto manufacturing plants, and other areas of the economy, why not one of the biggest high tech companies in the World and one whose employees have expressed their support for him. He is a creative person and likely will get a lot out of his visit. It supposedly is one of the most amazing work places in the country. Maybe he can pick up some ideas during his visit to implement in government work centers when he becomes our president.
