LAS VEGAS – Just ahead of a presidential debate here, Sen. Barack Obama has won the backing of United Auto Workers in Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin and Minnesota.
The support from the UAW's Region 4 includes 30,000 members and retirees in the early voting state of Iowa.
“There are many talented Democrats in the presidential field this year, but Barack Obama is the leader who will bring the kind of change to Washington that America’s working men and women can believe in,” UAW Local 442 president Paul Erickson said in a statement.
The Illinois Democrat spoke to the group this week in Dubuque, Iowa, as did the other top Democratic candidates.
Obama's campaign said the union's Region 4 represents 64,000 active members and 122,000 retirees in the four Midwest states.

This is big news for Bama and bad news for Hillary. This is not only money but campaign workers and votes. The Titanic with Capt. Clinton is slowly sinking...or maybe quickly.
