Seems to me that rather than spreading democracy, our politics keep spreading dictatorships because of their stability. Wonder if Bush is taking this as a model?

Bush better put "My Pet Goat" down and get on the phone with Mush. If he has an A game in him, it's time to show it. If he doesn't, he better invite Dad over for an extended stay. We gave Pakistan $11 billion for this?

You mean Iraq's "beacon of democracy" ain't shinin' bright enough for Mush to see?:

I thought Bush was called the "decider" by what few defenders he has left. This explains why straight forward questions were answered as "hypathetical" at least twice during one news conference?
Is this a new way to spin a problem with a failing war on terror?

Jimmy Carter got rid of the Shah of Iran, thereby opening the door for the Islamic fundamentalists and being a major factor in the unrest that continues today. Get rid of Musharraf and it will be the Taliban and the Islamics who will take over...and also have control of Pakistan's nuclear weapons. Armageddon anyone?

"Jimmy Carter got rid of the Shah of Iran"
The Iranians got rid of the Shah, son. It was the Americans who installed him.
