Manchester, N.H. – For weather weary candidates tromping around Iowa this week, relief is not in sight.

Those arriving in the Granite State Friday, the morning after the Iowa caucuses, will discover that New Hampshire just broke the record for the snowiest December ever recorded.

The state got 44.5 inches of snow this month compared to 43 inches in 1876.

Not to worry, another storm is on the way for New Year's Day.
