DES MOINES, Iowa--You know the weather isn't good when the airport crews begin plowing the runway right after your plane has landed.
That's Iowa this afternoon as a winter storm swept in from the plains, with wind gusts and blowing snow. Forecasts have as much as eight inches falling before tomorrow morning.
For the candidates here, this couldn't be worse timing. The campaign calendar is already compressed thanks to the Christmas holiday. Satiurday was going to be a full day for several, their last before taking a break.
But John Edwards and Fred Thompson, to name two, have already cancelled avents today. Sen. Barack Obama is still scheduled to have one tonight in suburban Des Moines, but can you call it an event if no one can show up?
Sen. Hillary Clinton spent today in New Hampshire, campaigning with her mother and daughter, but plans to return to Iowa tomorrow for a last day before the break. It's a day that the candidate could use considering her tight race with Obama and Edwards here. The question is whether the snow has other plans. Has Rudolph (the reindeer, not the mayor) affiliated himself with a campaign yet? And would he want a cabinet post?

NO more Clinton dynasty and corrupted Health Industry.
Its a shame that our country USA, being the most advanced nation on this planet, is continously choosing Bush/Clinton political dynasty for the past 20 years with no change.
SO ITS TIME FOR CHANGE NOW.
!!! VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA !!!

If you can't call it an event if nobody shows up, then the Obama event in Urbandale Saturday night was an event - nearly 700 people packed the hotel ballroom and overflowed into the hotel lobby to see Obama despite the blizzard conditions. If he can draw them to an event on a Saturday night three days before Christmas, during a winter storm, imagine how many might show up in caucus night.

How many will show up if Hillary came without Bill? This alone tells us everything we need to know about her campaign. It's all about Bill, and she is willing to have it so as long as she gets to return to the White House. Feminists do not ride on the coat-tails of their husbands, particularly if the husbands are proven adulters.
