Nashua, N.H. – The big gun is here.
Wilford Brimley, the Marine turned actor turned oatmeal pitchman, will be traveling on the bus for Sen. John McCain.
"The reason I'm here is because I think John McCain is a good, honest, patriotic American. He's proven that with his actions," said the gruff Brimley, trying to eat a bowl of clam chowder while hanging out with several of McCain's other Marine backers.
Asked what he thought of former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's criticisms of McCain, Brimley was notably blunt: "I'm not concerned about any of this silliness."

Where's bruce to scold old Pop for "dabbling in politics", where no celebrity should go. Did Wilford put his oatmeal where is mouth is, bruce? We're all dying to know.

Hard to argue with that. I just wish he wouldn't have buckled under to Bush so often. That said, I like him.

One can be judged by the company he keeps. I like McCain's company.

I heard that Mitt had Brittany all lined up, but things kinda went south on that celebrity endorsement.
John McCain is the real deal. Defeating Global Islamist Terror trumps running a Staples or bring the Games to town - McCain Brings Game to America's Threats.

this seems like an obvious pairing of celebrity endorsement / candidate because mccain has long been on the record about adapting public health policy to address the growing problem of diabeetus.

Although I think this new celbrity endorsement is nice, and I support John McCain, celebrities in general are pretty overated to me.
Make a choice, do you want a salesman or do you want an American Hero? The salesman is already bad-mouthing the competitors, the Hero is staying Honorable.

Who cares, Mccain is a liar, a doubletalker, and a warmonger.

You know we were joking about Brimley supporting him when he mentioned in the debate how he will fight to end "diabeetus" in his healthcare plan that would focus on prevention.
Oh and Dan. M. Nice try, to try and Swiftboat the best republican out there.

Dan - your use of the absurd "warmonger" tag marks you as a dirtball, commie and a troll. Get lost.

If McCain offers everyone free diabeetis meter if we qualify, he has my vote - "warmonger" or not.
