Stephen Colbert just keeps us laughing. His "interview" with Lou Dobbs last night was hilarious.
Colbert took on the role of Esteban Colberto, the host of a Spanish-language version of the Colbert Report.
"Colberto" is clearly playing off an old interview with Dobbs. The men weren't in the same studio at the same time. Three giveaways: You never see the two men in the same shot.
Then there's a continuity problem. Hint: Look at "Colberto's" left hand when the camera is on him, then look at it when he's shown from behind in one of the first cutaway shots.
Also, Dobb's book: "War on the Middle Class" was published in 2006, not exactly a book that would be promoted now.
Still, the "interview" is worth watching, especially because Colbert's funny and it demonstrates that fake news has had to become even faker because of the writers' strike.

That Colbert bit was hilarious.
I've loved the look on Lou Doo's face...

Lou Dobbs is an arrogant idiot. Give it to him, Colbert.

Since when is the man child such a Huckabee fan? Got religion all of a sudden, John E? Or are you just afraid Obama will get trounced in Nevada? Hillary's up nearly 10 points in the polls?
What will be the excuse for "the election was stolen" this time?

Billy Z,
I couldn't agree more, my favorite is Obama but I mainly want to see a Dem in the White House, any of the top Dem candidates are better than the pond scum that the Repubs are offering up.

Oh, look, baby has a new toy! Now, John E, don't wear your new Billy Zoom toy out too quickly by replying to all its posts, okay?
He just betrayed that he thinks a vote for Huckabee is a vote for the democrats. Pretty much says it all.

Jeff:
Yep. polls sure did a good job in New Hampshire. Really called it. Shouldn't even let them vote, that's the Clinton philosophy. Just go by the last poll.

We don't need polls anymore. God has told us Huck is the answer. A vote for Huck will eliminate the gays and put women where they belong....like it was in the begining. Eve was the sinner..not Adam.

Jeff,
I happen to know John E. was brought up a good Christian.
russell,
Nearly everybody is now falling through the cracks, after 7 years of TeamBush rule.
In GWB America only the wealthy are well served.

I hope you're kidding. If you are or not, your comment is hilarious. Let's put another idiot in the white house who claims to govern by God so he can screw up the world even more and perhaps start WWIII. That would be great.

Dobbs is a sad excuse of a human being and should seriously be deported back in time to Nazi Germany for his hatred on minorities.
Well, done, Colbert!
