Anyone who has seen “Missing in Action” and its various sequels or happened to catch “Walker, Texas Ranger” during its 17-year run on CBS knows that Chuck Norris doesn’t quit. He’s supporting Mike Huckabee’s presidential bid as doggedly as one of his fictional crime-fighters would.
Norris will be hosting a fundraiser for Huckabee later this month at his Texas spread, the Lone Wolf Ranch (named after Lone Wolf McQuade, naturally). Not only will Norris host the event and not only will Huckabee’s band, Capital Offense, play at the fundraiser, but Norris has promised a “martial arts demonstration” for the gathering. No word yet if said demonstration will involve a certain former governor of Massachusetts.
(Capital Offense, Norris tells us, once opened for Grand Funk Railroad.)
Supporters of Huckabee who can’t travel to Texas can still attend the Jan. 20 event, Norris says, by simply making a donation to the campaign. They’ll be given an all-access pass to view the proceedings on the internet. And those who don’t make a donation can expect a roundhouse kick to the abdomen. (We might be exaggerating.)
By the way, has anyone noted the irony of a man who made multiple movies about rescuing Vietnamese prisoners of war not supporting the candidate who actually was a prisoner in Vietnam?
But Chuck Norris isn't the only one-man army out there. Sen. McCain can take comfort in knowing that this guy has returned to action.

I'd swear I thought I saw a Roger Morris comment here, but since we all now how ANNOYING ALL CAPS ARE I DIDN'T READ IT!!!
ONE OF THE BIGGEST MISTAKES PEOPLE MAKE IS TO TYPE WITH THEIR CAPS LOCK ON. All-caps might look cool to you, but experienced users will write you off as an idiot. It's okay to use all-caps for headings and/or titles in your messages, or even to EMPHASIZE certain words, but anything beyond that is equivalent to screaming at someone. Do you like being yelled at?
Back to the Huckle-burger. Good thing he won't be there, because we all know that boy is an EATER!!!
No offence Roger, just trying to hip you to what time it is.

Who is the better role model for the next eight years?
Go Huckabee!

I don't think that because you were a prisoner of war makes you a good candidate for President, it makes you a war hero. I wouldn't take that away from the man but it doesn't change a thing. I think "Huck" speaks from the heart, has strong convictions and will lead America away from the same ole same ole that McCain wallows in.

You are right David,
Mike Huckabee is the better role model. Our Country needs someone we can look up to. Mike has realistic goals and it is very obvious he loves and is for the people of America. He did a great job as a Governor with over 13 years combined in Arkansas.
We like Mike!

Huckabee is the man for President at this time. America is getting sold out and we need to gain control on the inside before the rich elite open up an express-lane. Upgrading is a must happen but we need to get under control for the peoples best welfare, first.
