This is the first time in a long time that no one in the White House has had a personal stake in the outcome of the Iowa caucuses, so the lights may go out tonight before the returns come in.
“What time do those results start coming in?'' White House Press Secretary Dana Perino asked today, when asked about President Bush's plans for watching the outcome of the Iowa party caucuses tonight. "He goes to bed pretty early.''
Bush, who has taken no public stance in his party's contest for a nominee to replace him, nevertheless is following the contest, we're told -- just not too breathlessly.
"The president is watching it, as he has been over the past little while, as an observer… somebody obviously interested in politics,'' Perino said today. "But he is not spending a lot of time on that… We are watching with interest, but we are not dwelling on it.’’

Does it really matter if the lights are on or off when there's nobody home?

They remake every other movie. This must be the 2008 version of Bedtime For Bonzo...

They just can't stop lying. The Bush gang has put its chips on Mitt. They really like that "double my Gitmo" talk.

How many years of the past six has President Commanderpants-Guy been on vacation anyway-- both physically and mentally?
What difference does one more day make?

Uh Oh, the BCS Championships, the NFL Playoffs, the Super Bowl and then March Madness. The sports world is heating up and the President is in danger. Anyone remember when he got wasted and passed out, smashing his face on a coffee table. I'm not saying I wouldn't be stressed out being the President who allowed 3000 Americans to die not 1 month after the NIE warned me that planes might be used and al-Qaeda was determined to strike inside the US and I totally ignored this and did not direct Airlines to beef up security and ban obvious items such as box cutters or other blades but I certainly wouldn't make up a lie that I choked on pretzels. Be safe my secret-but-not-so-secret-alcoholic President.

Of course the President of the United States doesn't care about the future direction of our country. Would we expect anything different from him?
FYI if Clinton had said that, GOP and the media would be calling for impeachment.

"Is someone gonna turn that light out", he angrily remarked as he looked at his aides. "Fine! I guess I'll have to shut it off!", as he stomped over to the light and pressed a switch to shut it off.
Which "average guy" President had this juvenile reaction when he actually had to shut off the light in the Oval Office himself? A very time consuming and difficult task judging by his reaction.
a)Bill Clinton
b)Jimmy Carter
c)George W. Bush
d)Lyndon Johnson
e)Richard Nixon
The answer is of course born with a silver spoon in his mouth spoiled rich brat George W. Bush who finds it outrageous that he has to so much as shut off a light with his own delicate hands.

Earth to airheads! No body has cared what he does for quite sometime. Wake us up when the NEW PRESIDENT pays the electric bill and turns the lights back on...and GOOD RIDDANCE!

Who really cares about the joke of a President George Walker Bush as the Scumbag and his Corrupt Administration will be done in a year. Maybe the Scumbag and his Corrupt Buddies may have the opportunity to go to the Hague to the World Courts and be charged as the War Criminals they are for starting a war based on lies with Iraq. This would be one situation the spoilt Siver Spoon fed Frat Brat of a President won't be able to cry to Bush Senior for help.

The end of Georgie Jr's corrupt reign of power can't come soon enough.

Why should he care that much about the caucuses in Iowa tonight - Why should any of us care about them - other than as a media curcus sideshow.... He is not looking to assure a good re wrighting of his history - like his predecessor .... and we will not need to hide the siliver or the drapes when he leaves...
Its the start of the season - but hey its not like a real primary. Do 2nd shifters get to attend? What about single moms? Some representation - its government by the elites (something demos are not suppose to support....)
And its Iowa .... nuf said - I am going to sleep early too....

"The ignorance of your posters frightens me"
Yes I agree. The strange worlds they must live in - but do not worry, these hate mongers do not vote anyway. They just like to rant and rave - I mean otherwise they might have to do something constructive :)
