GREENVILLE, S.C.—Hillary Clinton wants to make eye contact with you at the next presidential debate.
That is, if you are a lucky campaign donor.
“One of my favorite moments in any debate -- like the one we had last night -- is when I look out into the audience and make eye contact with someone I know,” Clinton wrote in an e-mail sent out to supporters this morning. “Sometimes it's a friend, or a family member. Often it is someone I just met who shared their story with me.”
“Next Thursday, I want you to be that person,” She continued. “Would you come to an upcoming debate and be there for me in the audience?”
The campaign already has seen plenty of pitches to rouse interest from small-dollar Internet donors: Among them, box seats for a baseball game with Mitt Romney’s son Tagg, a pie recipe from John Edwards’ mother, and dinner with Barack Obama.
Now add the lure of a presidential debate, with eye contact from Hillary Clinton included.
“Enter before midnight Saturday,” the pitch continued, “and you and a friend could join me at the January 31 debate in Los Angeles.”

Why is this masquerading as news here at The Swamp? Where's the post about Fred Thompson quitting the campaign? I'll start the number of days until he endorses McCain count at 10.

This is just a ploy to get the greatest amount of applause. It will make her look like she's more popular than she really is.

I'm campaigning for your guy, too, John E. I likes me a good Reagan fan.

blue is right
hiLIARry was BOOED LOUDLY last night - she hates that more than most candidates would - and she was BOOED louder than most candidates ever are in public - she can't control the crowd like she did with the clinton employees pretending to be bigots in the new hampshire crowds - the truth hurts once again - so it is time for another cover up - this time to a cover up of the well known fact that AMERICA HATES hiLIARy
now she will stack the audience like she planted the question in the audience in IOWA - remember that severe display of dishonesty in which she got CAUGHT !!!
hiLIARy
hiLIARy
hiLIARy
make sure everyone knows the truth
the truth is the clintons hate truth - they utterly can't stand it - never could

Obamasheeple,
More than anything, they can't stand having their irrelevant arguments over looked.
She was booed
She was booed louder
Can't control the crowds at a controled event?
Now she will attack the audience??

Does the phrase "looking daggers" mean anything to you, Hillary?
Here's a clue - The Swamp on Clinton lies:

And I thought the expression 'shameless hussy' was out of date....

Is it true that people turn into stone when they make eye contact with her?

Lame, considering there is a free lottery at the CA Democratic Party website: http://www.cadem.org/debate You are probably more likely to get tickets on the free lottery than by giving to her campaign, since Clinton is only giving away two tickets.

Funny, how you put Obama last on this list when he was the FIRST to come out of the box with this sort of fundraising with his 'Dinner with Barack'. Then they all followed suit, as usual, even Bill Clinton with 'send in a donation and eat popcorn from a bowl with me and watch Hillary in the debate' and they are still following the leader Obama, like in the last debate, when sitting, after Obama made a statement Hillary would throw her hands up in the air and say, oowe, oowe, I wanna say something too, and she would continue where Barack left off. Edwards did that too, just like now where he advertises on his website he has an Edwards store and says every purchase goes to their fundraising totals, when none of them did this before until they saw Barack Obama was doing this. And of course with the 'change' thing, he's driving all of 'em crazy as they've tried to steal his change platform and make it into their own, even the Republicans. Obama, the true leader!
