ORLANDO -- That big endorsement that Sen. John McCain of Arizona is pulling in today, the day after trouncing Rudy Giuliani in Florida's Republican primary, will arrive at 3 pm Pacfic Time in Simi Valley, Calif., site of tonight's GOP debate.
That would be Giuliani making the endorsement.
The two will deliver their message at the national shrine of the Republican Party, the Ronald Reagan Library. McCain, struggling to convince his party's conservative base that he can be trusted, presents himself as a son of the "Reagan Revolution.'' Giuliani, who never got past the party's conservatives in his failed bid for the GOP nomination, will pay homage too.
That will leave Mitt Romney,- who declared himself to be a Republican in the mold of Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush -- note the H in there '-- after winning his party's primary in Michigan, to explain tonight that neither McCain nor Giuliani speaks for the base he hopes to court in the flood of primaries arriving from California to New York on Tuesday.
Appropriately, perhaps, the McCain announcement will come at a press conference at the site of the debate - in "the spin room.''

Everytime I hear the Wingnuts kiss Ronny Rayguns dead corpse over and over and over and over again, it reminds me of how out of touch with reality and arse backwards they are.

Do you suppose if Mr. stay the course McCain were to win the election, he could reverse the events in Afghanistan which Bush punted down the road through his incompetence?

John McCain was a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution so it's apt that he'll get this most important endorsement at the Reagan National Library.
Romney, please throw away more of your money before dropping out. We want to see a louse like you parted from it.

That's right. Republicans should stop living in the past, kissing Reagan's corpse. They should be more like the Democrats, who look toward the future by seeking to be anointed the next Jack Kennedy!

No McAmnesty for me. I am a strong conservative, but John McAmnesty is NOT. I will NOT vote for him. Rather a demoncrat gets into the White House honestly then a lying SOB like McAmnesty. I will NOT support him. I hope that Romney has a chance, or maybe a third party candidate...

I would vote for a World War II vet like McCain any day over a draft-dodging moneybags like Romney. I like that Ron Paul guy too as he was an early supporter of Reagan's.

Jeff,
Remind us what John McCain did for his first act being a Reagan footsoldier....Don't want to...OK, I'll say it. In John McCain's first act as a Ronald Reagan foot soldier he got snared in the Keating Five scandal. Was being a part of the Keating Five Reagan rubbing off or was that John McCain just being John McCain?

No matter what you thought of the man, the Reagan Library and Museum is impressive. There's a video tour on www.imagessimivalley.com

Hope you choose your heart surgeon the same way.!!

John MaCain served as a pilot in Viet Nam while Jane Fonda and John Kerry were committing treason in Paris with the North Veitnamese. Mitt Romney served his country while on missionary with his church. They are both better fiscal conservations than the Kennedy re-do's and the immoral Clintons.

Please vote for Mike Huckabee.
and lets get rid of Romney. We are sick of his lies!

Huckabee will surprise many. He is really a true conservative.

Now that McCain has been endorsed by a "real conservative" like Rudy, maybe that will satisfy the Limbaughs and Hannitys of the world.
