When New Hampshire voters go to the polls today, they will use paper ballots, not the computerized voting machines that have come under scrutiny because of their alleged vulnerabilities to hacking and glitches.
And here are samples of the Democratic ballot and the Republican ballot.
Reading through the sample ballots, Sen. Barack Obama doesn't have the most unusual name. That would go to "Vermin Supreme" a street theater artist who's on the Republican ballot.
Then there's a candidate some might confuse with the Illinois senator, considering all the hope and expectations being placed on the Chicagoan. That would be O. Savior on the Democratic ballot.

Isn't "Vermin Supreme" Dick Cheney's title within the Republican party?

Just so people know, our class president in 8th grade at Punahou was a Japanese girl named "Ohata" (the school anthem is "Oahu-wa"). Our class sent a gal to Harvard for her BA, MD, and PhD, named "Okada". One of our classmates there was a proud native american gal from the "O'Jibwa". One of the reasons that the Hawaii football team did so well this year (until running into the great Georgia Bulldogs), was that they subscribe to the spirit of "Ohana", the Hawaiian word for extended family. I think we had a dentist named "Obata" and down the street from the school was an old stadium attached to a Bowl-"O-rama." Ask Al Michaels about that stadium, because we grew up listening to him call the PCL games of the Hawaiian Islanders (San Diego Padres AAA). "Obama" is not really such a funny name once you start looking around, even though it does seem that people in "Ottumwa, Iowa" didn't see things lexically, and they split their votes.
Turning to middle names, I am aghast this week at my self-discovery. My middle name is "Prescott" and I don't have a drop of Scotsman (or Englishman) in me. And my lovely Irish ex-girlfriend got stuck with the Indian boy's name "Chandra" because her parents were hippies and they didn't know any better.
