MANCHESTER, N.H.—St. Anselm College shut down its campus to uninvited visitors for Sunday night’s Republican forum on the Fox News Channel, forcing a group of about 20 Ron Paul supporters to stand at the school’s entrance to protest their candidate’s exclusion from the forum.
Louis Devlugt, 27, of Trenton, N.J., called Fox's decision not to invite Paul “terrible,” adding, “We need to get active again as citizens and become the media.”
Paul was at the Manchester airport at debate time, flying out to California for a Monday appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
Jesse Benton, Paul’s national spokesman who was traveling with the candidate, expressed their frustrations with Fox over the snub.
“I don’t know why they would exclude Dr. Paul when he outpolls Fred Thompson in New Hampshire, he beat Rudy Giuliani in Iowa and raised more money than all of them this past quarter,” Benton said. “By all metrics, Dr. Paul belongs.”

When you're filling your car with $3 gas and buying some $2.65 a dozen eggs, remember who is running on stopping deficit spending. The war for oil is what caused prices for anything that eats grain to skyrocket. When THOSE prices rise, the fresh fruit seller raises his prices again, now you have some nice $5 a pound grapes in the market. Laugh all you want, it's YOUR money being spent. YOU'RE the one going to pay $250 a week for groceries. Still think Ron Paul sounds like a bad idea? He's the ONLY candidate, Republican or Democrat that is running on reducing your cost of living. Maybe you have plenty money. Me, I'm not so rich.

I think Fox probably did Paul a favor. He has gotten some free publicity that may cause people that are not familiar with him to become curious. If he were to be included, FOX would have done everything within their power to marginalize Paul.
All in all I think it is a win for Dr. Paul.
And on a completely side note, I used to be a FNC fan.

After a county by county analysis in Iowa, a few things are clear. Ron Paul at 10% of the overall vote always beat Giuliani & Hunter in EVERY county. Ron Paul won 2 delegates & they won none. Huckabee only won 17 delegates. Huckabee won MOST counties & Romney a few. But what I bet you did not know was that Ron Paul came in second in a few counties, & actually WON Jefferson county. McCain & Thompson each at 13% of the overall vote did not win a single county. In fact I do not think McCain & Thompson came in second in ANY counties. Compared to them Ron Paul did well.
I also think Ron Paul has a shot at 3rd in NH. And that he will do better than 10% - maybe 15%. That should give him 3rd. McCain and Romney are too far ahead. Ron Paul has put much more effort into NH than he did in Iowa. I think he can beat Thompson, Huckabee, and Giuliani.

If FOX news has to tell us after every story that they are "Fair and Balanced" then they probably are neither. Their new slogan should be "Fair, Balanced and CENSORED"
FOX cannot silence the Ron Paul Revolution. But with a flip of the dial you can silence FOX.

Bill Moyers, on Friday, interviewed both Ron Paul and Denny K;
The venue was calm, friendly, cordial. The questions and answers were honest, frank, tuff even, BUT FAIR.
The one big difference I could note between Bill Moyers and the Fox/CNN/MSNBC screamers is this; Mr. Moyers always gave the interviewee time to answer the question without interruption and expand on it if necessary.
As far as I can determine, PBS is the only fair and balanced public affairs outlet.

Remember Ross Perot and the sucking sound. There is still a sucking sound of our money being pulled out of this country to overseas. Ron Paul is giving us a warning of what this country is up against. We should heed his advise if you want to see the value of the dollar come back. I think Ron and Ross went to the same school. Time to vote for Ron for a big healthy change in government. A real shot in the arm for sure. Lee.

Fret not, Ron Paul supporters!
The InFORUMercial merely showed Fox for what it is, a shill for Big Business, Wall Street and the Military Industrial Complex.
Not a single real question about any of the uncomfortable truths that face the country, just a lot of
"My opponent is pretty great but I'm even greater"
posturing.
The other candidates have burned through all their $2300 donors and won't be able to raise money in a losing battle.
Look for at least one of those Forum participants to drop out after NH, and another one or two to eject after S. Carolina.
This is a long battle, but Dr. Paul can win if we keep the faith and keep opening our wallets!

Hey New Hampshire voters: What do you think about Chris Wallace and Fox News predicting that the Republican Presidential candidate will be one of the 5 Fox-selected candidates in the room?
Posted by: Mark Leigh | January 6, 2008 10:42 PM
Since when did having different opinions than that of the Washington Industrial Complex exclude you from a chance at the presidency. I find it a bit repulsive that all of the reds and all of the blues put on the same party masks to vie for votes. I cant believe one word that Mitt or Hillary utter, just for the fact that they are pandering completely to the opinion polls done by the major media outlets that already choose our candidates for us. Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and Ralph Nader are true patriots. I see nothing more patriotic and politically courageous than the will to stand up to the merging party leaders. Why should fighting for the ideals our nation was founded on, those of freedom of speech, personal liberties, and a true democracy, become slanderous words of a deranged lunatic. I say forget Fox's censoring and forget the reds and the blues. Vote for America and our future as citizens of the Earth.

FRED THOMPSON is the best person to lead this country. He is a true conservative and has been his entire life. All one has to do is check his record to see this.
During my time in the Army as an Intelligence Analyst, I served under both Presidents Carter and Reagan (as my commanders in chief). Without argument, President Reagan was the best commander-in-chief a military person could ever have served under. Fred Thompson possesses the same qualities and vision as President Reagan in that he is strong on national defense and sees a dire need to secure our borders and control immigration.
I can think of no better person to lead this country and fix the problems we have. He is the only candidate from either party who has specific and detailed plans on border security and immigration reform; revitalization of America’s armed forces; saving and protecting Social Security; and tax relief and economic growth. These are detailed on his Web site at www.fred08.com . I challenge you to find any other candidate who has laid out specific plans to fix anything.
Fred Thompson has published his first principles, some of which are mentioned above. In addition to those, he strongly believes in individual liberty, personal responsibility, limited government, federalism, traditional American values, the rule of law and is a strong proponent of the Second Amendment — all concepts established during the birth of our country and documented in our Constitution.
Again, try to find any candidate who has laid out their plans to “fix” this country. You will find they all speak in vague and abstract terms on their plans.
For those who have heard Fred Thompson speak, you will usually hear him say that the Fred Thompson you see today is the same Fred Thompson you saw yesterday and is the same Fred Thompson you will see tomorrow. He stands by his principles and values and doesn’t shift his positions based on polls or public opinion; in other words, he doesn’t say what the voters want to hear just to get elected, but remains steadfast on his views and convictions.
During his time in the Senate he focused on three areas: to lower taxes, strengthen national security and expose waste in the federal government. Fred Thompson has foreign policy experience, having served as member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Senate Intelligence committees.
As chairman of the Senate Governmental Affairs Committee, he opened the investigation in 1997 on the Chinese government’s attempt to influence American policies and elections, and this investigation identified connections with the Clinton administration (documented in the committee’s report).
As a member of the Finance Committee, he worked tirelessly to enact three major tax-cut bills. Fred Thompson remains steadfast and even though a person may not agree with all his views and he understands some may disagree with him, you can count on him to be consistent and unwavering.
Don’t be fooled by his laid back approach and what critics call his “laziness.” As a former assistant U.S. attorney, he earned a reputation as a tough prosecutor and he possesses the toughness this country needs in order to tackle today’s and tomorrow’s issues.
I ask that you take a hard look at what this country needs, then take a hard look at all the other candidates’ views, policies, their records and their track record on consistency. Fred Thompson possesses integrity, loyalty, commitment, energy and decisiveness, all traits of an effective leader, and will emerge as the best person to take this country boldly forward.
Please help Fred win in South Carolina:

We will dump their stock; boycott, call, and e-mail their advertisers; and worst heckle their talking heads wherever and whenever they are seen in any public venue. Did they want a war against us, it won't be any conventional war, but it will be just as devastating to their ratings, their earnings, and their sanity if they had any before it. Faux Noise is going down this time.

yeah, that was sure some amazing bus, kinda reminds of the kinds of things that were done to Rosa Parks and MLK. In their time they were called everything in the book and every attempt by the FBI to cointelpro them was done. FOX maybe more like a cointel TV station as far as I'm concerned. You might as well call them fair and fascistly balanced. I'm sure there were little MCcain and Guliani supports just playing with their propeller caps for that debate.
Enough with the child's play, if Paul does win enough states in the primary that will spell the end for these jokers. If we end up still in Iraq after all this garbage I say we march to WDC this summer, I'll even help setup a webpage to organize such an event. Paul wants to restore America to where JFK wanted to take us, these people that attack him only stregthen our resolve, some of his attitude maybe almost being brought back to life, such as "Ask not what your government can do for you, but ask what you can do for your government." Take responsiblity before it might be too late and we are in some massive world war in a half dozen countries and our economy would only represent a jail system. The major cause of our wars might be the Federal Reserve please research this private corporation people. We need support to return our republic back to the intent of the founders. They didn't found a government that would go prying into our private affairs yet these candidates are leading us in a dangerous direction. A democrat would only increase the size of the already unstable order, and these Republicans other than Paul will just do more of the same. Look out, your liberty and security are in danger, maybe we should shrink the powers of strangers that purport to hold power over our lives and presume to understand the world in ways we are unable to comphrehend. This maybe the same line of BS that the dictators of the past used during the last century. Wake up. We can win. We can create possiblities that will only boggle these short sighted people that run this society. We can use community technology to overcome so much more now than ever, take power back in our communities and cut off the tax the money out and attach strings and social engineering before the money maybe returned philosophy that has made era's such as the Vietnam War so memorable for the fiasco that we experienced. Iraq maybe just the same old game, cut it off, wipe it out before government wipes you out. Shrink the size and scope and the issues will fundamentally change and we will have to hold ourselves accountable, we are ready to make this country great and to extend possibilities into infinity.

Better 'out in the cold' than inside getting our skirts blown up with hot air!. Seriously, Ron Paul has forgotten more economic knowledge than the accumulated sum total of all the rest of the Rep candidates know put together! He's written 13 books on the subject (I doubt the rest have READ that many!), and many economists and traders LOVE him for his ideas! If the American people would only be able to hear the FACTS about how our economy is controlled (without the shouts and schoolgirl laughter of the other candidates), then they would see that Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate with not only the policies to help them and the American economy, but also the only candidate with the intellectual capacity to UNDERSTAND the underlying principles!
Fred Thompson is NOT an intellectual (though he DID play one on TV!); if you look close, you can see Ed Rollins hand up the back of Huckabee's suit, moving his lips; McCain sheds his political skin more than a Boa Constrictor with Psoriasis; I swear I bought a used car from Mitt Romney at some point in my life; and Rudy Giuliani is- 9-11! 9-11! 9-11! 9-11! 9-11!-(sorry about that Giuliani Tourettes); Rudy Giuliani has more skeletons in his crawlspace than John Wayne Gacy, and half the charm! At what point in his 'I'm-waiting-for-the-next-state strategy will the media declare him mathematically eliminated?

There were hundreds of Ron Paul supporters in Manchester, NH last night.
I know, I saw it.
St. Anselm's was cordoned off...The Fox News forum was a sham...The NH Republican committee had the grace to pull their support for it, thank you Fergus Cullen for your excellent decision and support for justice.
... A MUCH larger number of grass roots Ron Paul supporters were in downtown Manchester, last night about, 300 in the streets and many more at a
Ron Paul town hall style meeting.
To the "main stream" media ignoring a movement doesn't make it go away...in this case it will
continue to grow. The message of liberty, Constitutional policies and fiscal sanity
will not falter.
If you weren't there it was quite a scene...Ron Paul supporters on all 4 corners in the middle of downtown Manchester. Search the web, probably alot of video on this...
A fun, peaceful and powerful rally.
Google "Ron Paul for President 2008" if you love liberty.

LISTEN UP PEOPLE!! I hate to throw a wet blanket on everyone contributing to this forum having high hopes for Ron Paul or your favorite candidate.
I am a computer programmer. I consult for banks. E-Voting machines (touch screen and optical scan) can be compromised!
The software program controls the machine, both touch screen and optical scan. Using touch screen as an example, software dictates the text displayed on the screen, keeps a running count for each candidate's votes, and dictates what is printed for a paper trail(a virus is software too).
The software can display Ron Paul's name on the touch screen. The software program can give the vote to Huckabee's total count, yet the program can still print out Ron Paul's name for the paper trail. The voter looks at the paper receipt unaware that his vote is robbed!
Don't make the mistake of associating the reliability of e-voting machines to ATMs. This is apples and oranges. To borrow from a past political advisor, "it's the software stupid". Does anyone have any idea how much money and security is used to protect software running banks? I do.
Banking software is protected at all times, 24/7, by highly skilled computer techs, not to mention the custom layers of security software installed, authentication and authorization protocols used in the code, encryption, auditing trail etc. to protect all data. This will not exist for e-voting machines.
The Help America Vote Act has already been signed into law by President George W. Bush in October, 2002. It is a federal mandate that forces all states to accept e-voting machines, but it contains no federal mandate for a paper back-up.
ALL CONCERNED VOTERS NEED TO GOOGLE TO READ, Papering Over OptiScam Problems, by Rady Ananda, which was posted on the internet Jan 6, 2008. It is an excellent response to the New York Times Sunday Magazine Jan 6 2008 article, Can You Count on These Machines? She states during the May 2006 primary in Cuyahoga County Ohio, 28 voting machines went "missing" and 200 memory cards went "missing".
Google to read article, Florida Report Spurs Growing Distrust of E-Voting Machines, from TechNewsWorld, posted Aug 1, 2007, by Erika Morphy. Regarding Florida and CA studies of e-voting machines, notice a technical expert states, "we have to continue to do what we can to make these systems as secure as possible...But in the end they will never be completely secure". Also, law experts recommend a count of paper ballots to verify e-voting machines -- optical scan or otherwise.
Google to read aritcle, Princeton Researchers Hack Diebold E-Voting Machine, by Michael Hoffman, Sept 14 2006, about UNDETECTABLE tampering of vote counts using a computer virus. A more recent article concerning undetectable vote tampering is titled, Voting machine flaw found, by Marc Caputo of the Miami Herald, posted Aug 1 2007.
E-Voting machines, touch screen and optical scan, should not be used for primaries and the Nov election!!!
WE MUST USE PAPER BALLOTS, HAND COUNTED, to preserve our votes !!!!!!!

If you want change, you have to fight for it. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate out there really fighting and spreading the word of change. The media, at least Fox News, is an evil empire who gets their big bucks on the DL from lobbyists and big business, and the concept of getting rid of some of those things probably scares the crap out of them. Without people like Ron Paul, a lot of Americans would still be in the dark about the truth.
If you're voting in ANY primary in ANY state, PLEASE consider the consequences of your vote, and vote Ron Paul. Otherwise we will all be broker than we are now, and with less freedom than we already have.
