Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson, a moderate Democrat who has been elected in a conservative state to two terms as governor and two terms in the U.S. Senate, endorsed Barack Obama a few minutes ago, arguing the Illinois senator is the candidate best suited to reach across party lines to independents and Republicans.
Nelson said in a conference call with reporters that Obama "has the greatest potential to succeed in ending the bitterness and poisonous atmosphere in Washington."
The Nebraska primary is on Feb. 9, four days after the 22-state "Super Tuesday" primary that could decide the presidential nomination.
"There is certainly a chance that this could continue on into February," said Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, who joined the conference call.
"We are beginning to really carefully plan for states that some after Feb. 5," Plouffe added."If Feb. 5 is not determinative, then we’re going to have to campaign really hard in all those states that come afterward."

This is an Opinion of one undocumented citizen.
Death should be a natural course of life, not by the hands and doings of another individual. Any life taken, without the natural courses and causes, is shameful and a disgrace; how sad and what a sorrow to have such a painful ending.
Mrs. Bhutto was in exile and the theory was that perhaps she was asked to run for office and was told that if she wins the possibilities for Pakistan would be endless; but she was given the risk factors of what the outcome would and might be. As she, herself, stated on CNN with Mr. Wolf Blitzer in a September 2007 interview. Mrs. Bhutto was fully aware of this outcome and was willing to take such a risk. The pressures for wanting to be a Saint/Martyr for Democracy, (social equality), in Pakistan out weights the need to stay alive (survival). Dying for a cause seemed to be the outmost and the highest, powerful position to have been bestowed upon an individual. How is that not a disturbed process, wanting to die, I mean???? Rather than wanting to stay alive to witness what the cause will bring in the future, Death seems to be the choice and the choosing for the need for control. Who does such a thing, seriously?????
This habitual pattern for power must be change and reform. Death should not be the means and ways to have others change their beliefs, cultures, customs…etc. Perhaps, the need to keep Pakistan from Democracy is the need to strike fear in the minds and hearts of anyone who wants to have civility in this world.
In this country, Immigrants, aliens, non-Citizen…etc, they all protest/fight for cultural acceptance and diversity in this Country, by wanting political power in order to change US Democracy Laws to fit their cultural beliefs, customs…etc. this Country calls it “Cultural Diversity “, the United States do not assassinate anyone for wanting to change Democracy into Cultural Diversity and wanting to force different cultures, beliefs, customs…etc. upon US citizens instead, US Democracy is becoming a thing of the past, defunct because the need for “Cultural Diversity” out weighs the needs for Democracy in The United States.
However, Democracy to a Foreign Country, for the sake of advancement, equality, there is bound to be conflicts, deaths, uproar, terror…etc. to wanting to change their policies, cultures, customs, beliefs…etc. go figure!!! Therefore, in conclusion, United States cannot and will not enforce US Laws for Democracy in this country, what makes it so that it can take Democracy to another Country?????
Democracy is and will be defunct IF United States does not stop this thing call Diversity over Democracy in the United States; it is not worth the price of any life.
Who is dropping their responsibilities in protecting Democracy for the Citizens of this Country and changing it to “Cultural Diversity”?????? Ms. Chandrakanta Jugmohan

Your post has 0 (ZERO) relevance to the article? Are you on some kind of Eastern drugs?

Ya-a-awn... another endorsement for a politician, from a politician.
On that subject:
Among the generous financial donors to the Oprahma campaign is Jared Abbruzzese -- a New York businessman now at the center of an F.B.I. inquiry into public corruption in Albany. Abbruzzese had also contributed to Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, a group that sought to undermine John Kerry's Democratic presidential campaign in 2004.
So Lurch is an even bigger chump than I'd previously thought!

Okay - so the screening for relevance dude must have been at coffee - (re:post @2)
Anyway...
Thank you Senator Ben Nelson...Endorsements from within the party are very important. We Democrats...must sway the "old guard"..."the party faithful"...many of whom are in fact women over 60...
Many of us have fond memories of the clinton era...It was their time...Now we must look forward...
I don't want to return to more sex scandals that undermine and redirect focus away from the democratic agenda.
I don't want it to be true..but while with the superdelegates Clinton could win the "clinton lovefest" and Democrat nomination...She would most certainly lose the general election...The republicans have been planning for her nomination for years...It will be a blood bath of scandal as soon as we nominate her. Then what?
It's wrong..it's unfair but it's true...This is not her time...
Save the democrat's chance to win back the whitehouse...Choose Obama

The only way Hillary wins the nomination is if the perceived "MO" from the NH primary - which I still contend was stolen - drives her through Nevada and SC.
As discussed today on "This Week with George Stephanopolous," Obama received the number of votes he was projected to receive. Those projections were based on notoriously unreliable new and independent voters.
This means Hillary received votes that weren't expected to be cast.
Those votes could be from people who are dead or who haven't voted in years and maybe didn't even vote this time.
Chicagoans know about this kind of electioneering.
