Good morning.
Here are a few Washington events of note for Thursday, January 24.
The Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee is holding a hearing on the nomination of Edward Schafer to be agriculture secretary.
President Bush is meeting with Elsa Morejon, wife of Presidential Medal of Freedom recipient Oscar Biscet.
Congressional Budget Office Director Peter Orszag is discussing the national economic outlook with the Senate Budget Committee.

Comments
Mittens is an awful man and a Mormon. No one likes him beyond the various unemployed welders of Michigan who he promised jobs to, Tom Tancredo and maybe sons Tagg and Craig. But according to the New York Times no one loathes Mittens as much as other republicans running for President.
