In California, the biggest prize of the Super Tuesday primaries, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois has eliminated Sen. Hillary Clinton's apparent advantage, according to a new poll there that portrays a virtual tie for the two among Democrats surveyed.
With the California newspapers reporting today on the results of the newest Field Poll, the San Francisco Chronicle reports on "a startling surge of support'' for Obama heaidng into Tuesday's contest. With Clinton's 36-34 percentage point advantage over Obama falling within the margin of error, and nearly one in five of all Democratic voters still undecided, the outcome is uncertain.
The possible margin of error in the survey is 4.5 percentage points. The Field Poll is California's finest, contributing to a dramatic few days ahead.
Sen. John McCain of Arizona also has stretched his advantage over Republican rival Mitt Romney there, the poll shows.
"But the Democratic numbers are the shocker,'' the Chronicle reports today. "Clinton, a longtime California favorite, saw her once-commanding lead slip to two percentage points, 36 to 34 percent, in the new survey. That's down from the New York senator's 12 percentage point lead in mid-January and a 25 percentage point margin over Obama in October.''
With 18 percent of Democratic voters still undecided, the poll's director, Mark DiCamillo, suggests the contest is up for grabs. "It's an unusually volatile election, with a very high number of undecided voters and so many moving parts," he told the Chronicle. " "It could be a very, very close election."

""CLINTON SLEEZE FATIGUE WILL INVIGORATE GOP, DISPIRIT DEMOCRATS AND SINK DEMOCRATIC TICKET""
""OBAMA/EDWARDS TO WIN""
It is possible that Senator Clinton is the best candidate. However, even though many may like the policies that Senator Clinton proposes, they should also consider her record, just as Senator Clinton insists.
.
The last Clinton Administration, when faced with the fact that protection rackets where assaulting, torturing and murdering people with poison and radiation, chose to avoid its responsibilities to incarcerate the criminals and to protect the citizenry.
.
Instead, they made a deal with the criminal gang stalker protection rackets to leave them alone and to consequently abandon the citizenry.
.
Do we want a President who sells out the citizenry for votes?
.
Do we want a President who sends a "crime does pay" message to society?
.
Would you vote for a President who signed nonaggression deals with the KKKlan or the Nazi party? Gangs that torture with poison and radiation are much like the KKKlan and Nazi Party.
.
We do not need a sellout President. We need a principled leader President.
.
If you are one of the few who do not know what the above refers to, do a web search for "gang stalking" to see the tip of the dirtberg. Please do it before you decide to reply to my post. Here let me make it easy for you :

If you think that your employer-paid health insurance will protect you from paying Hilary's premiums, think again! According to a September 18, 2007 Associated Press article, Clinton said in an interview with the AP: "... she could envision a day when 'you have to show proof to your employer that you're insured as a part of the job interview -- like when your kid goes to school and has to show proof of vaccination,' but said such details would be worked out through negotiations with Congress."

Sadly White women forget Bill's abuses against women and the $800,000 payout to Paula Jones. Does anyone remember NAFTA or executive order #13122 which began the sharing of our border? The 90s ushered in the computer age and made it easy for Bill to be forgiven missed opportunities, shady deals and sexual indiscretions. Hillary spent 8 of those 35 years covering it all up.

I disagree with the comments on the Clinton Administration. You can't Compare Hilary to Bill. Their two compeletly different people. Different Canidates and different Politics. It doesn't matter that Their married the simple fact is....When Bill Clinton was president Hilary was only the wife the society leader who planned luncheons and partys. She had no concrete opinon in the Administration or the country for that matter. If you notice however. Hilary was everywhere with Bill. She paid close attention I have a firm belief that that woman from expierence of watching her husband knows what shes doing. She understands what this country wants and needs. A Wise person learns from someones elses mistakes, A smart person learns from their mistakes. Hilary is a wise woman.she's learning fromt he mistakes her idiot of a husband made and investing into that. Her views for healthcare are right on. And as for barack obama 2 mintutes of that debate in california and I was gone. He made it sound like provideding heathcare for all americans at all cost was a insanity. Like Provideding this necessity to live was forcing it on someone who can not afford it. This man Allthough intrigueing Doesnt have what it takes. I would much rather put my faith and lievely hood of my country in the hands of a woman who has seen how it goes down in the White House. Then a man who cannot see the importance of providing healthcare to those who cannot provided it for themselves. Take it this way Hilary is walkin on a road already Paved.......One paved when her husband was president one she walked just behind him without any say.shes walkin it but she knows where the holes are in the cracks and shes not gonna step on them. Barck on the other hand he just made his bricks How long do you think it will take him to pave the right way to the right road? Would this country this society rather have a White Woman or A Black Man makin their road?

Can anyone explain why our Media still isn't saying anything about Mr. Obamas church? The pastor who converted him to Christianity from Islam 20 years ago, supposedly, is a close friend and supporter of Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam and outspoken Jew hater, and those two went to Libya to honor Khadafy, the terrorist. Baracks church is Black Only and the minister himself a convert from Islam. Yet he calls Louis Farrakhan "the epitome of greatness."
Why doesn't Obama renounce his relationship with an openly racist church? For that matter, why has he given so much support to Raila Odinga, the Kenyan who calls Islam the "only true religion" and wants to replace their constitution with Sharia Law? The Kenyan government filed a complaint against Obama with our State Dept. for interfering in their internal affairs because of his behavior there.
These are real facts, none of this is "over the top". I'm a concerned American citizen, I consider myself a centrist politically, and I want what's best for my country. We all know from experience that what politicians say to get elected is not what they always really mean. Actions speak way louder than words and both Obamas actions and his lack of them have caused me great concern.
Will someone please address these issues and either put my mind at rest or expose a fraud, whichever proves to be the reality? Our president is the single most powerful person in the world. Can we take this lightly?

Clinton health plan may mean tapping pay
By CHARLES BABINGTON
Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON (AP) -- Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton said Sunday she might be willing to garnish the wages of workers who refuse to buy health insurance to achieve coverage for all Americans.
The New York senator has criticized presidential rival Barack Obama for pushing a health plan that would not require universal coverage. Clinton has not always specified the enforcement measures she would embrace, but when pressed on ABC's "This Week," she said: "I think there are a number of mechanisms" that are possible, including "going after people's wages ..."
"GOING AFTER PEOPLE'S WAGES" ...
THE REPUBLICANS WILL KILL THE DEMOCRATS WITH THAT KIND OF ANTI-WORKER LUNACY ...

Senator Obama, You Sir cannot reincarnate yourself as Cezar Chavez stop calling upon the dead. That's disgraceful.
Make a name for yourself sir! Don't rape someone else. Mr. Chavez you will never be and are not. So knock it off with Si Si Peude, okay - it is a disgrace! In California this belongs solely to one man, it is not you. Stealing last we checked in Los Angeles was a crime. So are you sir just blending in with the filthy mess we have on the Hill? Hey maybe Cheney will give you his Man-size locker as a welcome to the White house gift, since you are truly early on proving to be NOT ABOVE IT!!!
- Use your own merits!
- Walk in your own footsteps brother!
- If you were meant to be a leader it will come we won't have to force it upon you!
-Also MLK ; how dare you- he had a dream (IT WON'T YOUR DREAM MR. MAN) it is a dream that both you and Hillary are living; be man enough to share it, don't be a Misogynist and get part of Dr. King's message, breathe it in, listen to it again.
Are you ready for this, at this time? Look deep, set your ego aside, this isn't a rock concert where you get to come out and be 50 cent for and audience this is now and this is real.

Hillary's concept of "universal healthcare" is unrealistic. Barack's plan to work with the insurance companies to make it more affordable for the common person is a realistic way to do this. We cannot expect the government to pick up the tab on healthcare for everyone, especially after the past 7 years of financial debauchery by the Bush admin. I guess the "fairytale" that former Pres. Bill Clinton was speaking of was the one his wife is trying to sell. Come on California, OBAMA 08!

If the actual pledged delegate count is 63 Obama and 48 Clinton, why does CNN keep reporting on TV that Hillary has 232? Their web site seems to suggest that they are basing this on a reverse proportion of super delegates goining to Hillary. Isn't that misleading and inaccurate. Intential? I wonder!

Western: Put your mind at ease.
According to the New York Times (4/30/07), all races are welcome at Trinity UCC, Obama's church in Chicago.
On January 15, Obama denounced Louis Farrakhan, saying, "I decry racism and anti-Semitism in every form and strongly condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by Minister Farrakhan."
On January 28, Obama published an article in The Daily Nation in which he held Raila Odinga and President Kibaki equally responsible for the violence in Kenya, though one must admit that the struggles in that country run far deeper than these two individuals.
Also, Obama was never "converted" from Islam, because he never was a Muslim, which is documented is most every (reputable) news source.
So, Western, I hope your mind is put to rest. You're right, we're casting our votes for a very important job, which is why I'm happy to be voting for somebody who doesn't stir up deceit and misstatements, such as the ones prompting the issues you are so concerned about.

I am removing myself from Move on.org forever. Using Obamba will falter like Kerry, Carter and Gore; and the endorsement from TED Kennedy, the wholesome family in the 60's, to combat the Anti -Gay attacks in this country against Adli Stevenson. Obama is not ready and will be made mince meat of in the south & by Republicans /REZKO Trial-just gave $44,00 back last week and $72,000 this week after 17 years. No experience, loved selling/ doing drugs,( in his own book written by Obama and they will use it against him) and doesn't have the $$$ and extended family like Kennedy's did. Ted's outburst over Hillary RE: LBJ's civil rights, was so over the top. LBJ did get it through Congress after JFK died- for JFK?
As if JFK didn't have sex w/women in the white house Eisenhower, Nixon, Bush one) and TED taking his secretary over the BRIDGE to die in Capaquidick? They Kennedy's just love women! The male dominated press is awful to woman as they age-to old and brutal if they are too young! You are off my list forever MOVE On .org.
Thank goodness for Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, RFK's JR, and the rest of the sane Kennedy family for backing experienced Hillary; as we will need her in the fall champagne and to get us out of IRAQ and economy going. She hand her husband have guts! Obama will fall flat like Carter.
Hillary been fighting for of 25 years in politics-middle of the road and this guy has been in the senate 2 years? The country spend $75 million to investigate Whitewater only to find Clintons (Hillary)lost $75,000.What a nasty dirty unfair game.
Nuff said about how women are treated in the US. If Bloomberg doesn't win, we will have 4 more years of Mc Cain, war, bush tax cuts for rich.,sigh. DEEMS will blow it & move on is there to help. The deems in senate are so weak now-imagine it all over again Carter style. Obama used and Sold drugs as told in his own book Republicans wil have a field day. Untested and in the hands of Coom Ed. as reported today in the Trbune.

The Kennedy’s have been nothing but disgraceful scandals in the last 25 years, relatives accused of murders, rapes etc and that gives the Kennedy name clout? Don't think so... Ted Kennedy is now go headed for a disgraceful end. The Massachusetts senator has been caught in a sneaky plot to kill a clean-energy project in Nantucket Sound. Seems he doesn't want to see wind turbines from his waterfront estate. "Don't you realize -- that's where I sail!" he famously said.
The Obama campaign has criticized Hillary Clinton's candidacy as another example of dynastic politics. But now that Obama is playing adopted son of the Kennedy clan, that argument falls apart. Kennedy mystique Is so much JUST hot air. Obama, new? Change? Going back to the Kennedy Camelot Era does not benefit anyone in 2008 - or could even survive with the media probes and questions that are asked today. The Kennedy's have been legally less desirable since JFK. Old Joe and his money?? Questions about his involvement in some of those early elections. All the affairs and nepotism in JFK's cabinet - at least one brother and brother-in-law. And their next generation has certainly made their share of questionable choices, charged with rapes, murders etc... Amazing Ted is shaking his finger at the Clintons! Caroline stayed away from the political arena because she didn't want to align herself and her children with this messy history. There is always going to be some revisionism with historical figures -- Earl Ofari Hutchinson did a killer deconstruction on the recent rewriting of Martin Luther King Jr's legacy -- especially those who have died, so, let's dispense with the niceties: John F. Kennedy did propose the landmark civil rights bill and that is most of his "legacy." Actually, the record was mediocre. Just some of the highlights: Opposed the 1957 Civil Rights Acts. Used this as a wedge issue against Nixon! to help capture the "solid South" in the 1960 election. Did absolutely nothing for civil rights in his first year of office. Encouraged, told or instructed Robert Kennedy to sic Adam Clayton Powell on Martin Luther King, threatening to expose an imaginary sexual scandal with Bayard Rustin, MLK's black gay top lieutenant, to prevent a march in Los Angeles. Opposed the 1963 March on Washington. Refused to deploy troops to protect the Freedom Riders. Ignored the Albany, Georgia bus station riot. So many more lost opportunities to choose from.... In the early 1960s, obviously, JFK's attention was diverted to Cuba, Berlin, Vietnam, and, increasingly, Marilyn Monroe and other actresses. If Kennedy capitulated to the blacks, the Southern white Democrats would revolt. If he did nothing--which he mostly did--the violence would continue and world attention would focus on the inept White House. The Kennedys had a horrible relationship with Congress, so, there wasn't much the president could on his. On the other hand, by sitting on his hands, the violence quotient increased, which is why he was forced to "propose" the 1964 Civil Rights Bill. Oh yeah, this probably helped endear his family to black voters in Chicago and New York City. There was an election in 1964 ... We’ve got too much work that needs to be done in this country to follow this route. Obama time is definitely ready or able to lead this great country.

At this point in our country, it does not matter if it is a white woman, or black man leading, the question is; which of the two will lead our country honestly? the clinton's are automatically illiminated, both have been intrenched in controversy, lies, and drama!! Yes, even thievery!!
Obama is representative of a segment of americans who have never been represented! and guess what? He has the intellect to lead our country, unlike bush who cannot put two words together!! and McCain who cannot remember what question was asked?
How sad; seems we would rather go up in flames rather than see a black man lead our nation. Destruction is surely ours to come if we do not change.
Everything is a joke to white americans, well I have news for you, the joke will be on all of us if you do not wake up, and wake up fast!!!
