Clinton, in Texas, belittles Obama's experience: The Swamp

The Swamp

by Rick Pearson

LAREDO, Texas—Hillary Clinton concluded her campaign tour of the Texas border country this morning, urging supporters to cast early votes while standing atop the makeshift stage of a flatbed-truck trailer at a rally outside the city’s Old City Hall.

“We’re putting together a winning team in Texas to go to the White House,” the Democratic presidential contender declared as she urged voters to cast ballots for her now, then attend precinct caucuses on March 4 that will award additional delegates.

“If you’re votes are not cast, they can’t be counted. If you’re voices aren’t raised, they can’t be heard,” she said.

Clinton thanked supporters—both voters and campaign contributors—for sticking with her as she indicated the job ahead of her in trying to upset frontrunning rival, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, will be a difficult one.

“I am only here because millions of people voted for me and hundreds of thousands have contributed and many have supported me, in tough times and easy times. Those are the kind of people that I want to support as president," she said.

At one point, the audience shouted, "Si, se puede" in response to Clinton, which, translated into English, means, "Yes, we can," a phrase most associated with Obama's campaign.

In a potential tipoff to her strategy in tonight's debate with Obama, she belittled his experience by questioning whether he could handle potential crises.

“This election coming up on March 4 is an opportunity for you to decide who you want to hire for the hardest job in the world,” she said. “There are big differences between my opponent and myself. The choice you make is really critical. I want you to think who you want to have in the White House answering the phone at 3 o’clock in the morning when some crisis breaks out somewhere around the world.”

Clinton recounted that a woman came to the event site and waited about five hours for the opportunity to present the candidate with a rosary.

“I want to thank her and all of you for your support and for your prayers because I am asking you to vote for me for the hardest job in the world. I know that. I watched my husband. I know how hard this job is,” she said.

Clinton earned loud applause in calling for a comprehensive solution to the nation’s illegal immigration problem.

“We are going to fix this broken immigration system,” she said. “It is long past time that we quit treating the immigration system like a political football. It is time we actually brought the country together to do what must be done. Yes, we need secure borders, but we also need a path to legalization for those that worked hard.”

The night before, Clinton traveled as far south in Texas as anyone could go, greeting thousands of students at the University of Texas’s Brownsville campus at an outdoor rally.

After Laredo, Clinton headed north to Austin, the site of this evening’s one-on-one broadcast debate at the LBJ Library at the UT main campus. Though it’s the 19th debate of the Democratic presidential campaign, it is only the second time that Clinton and Obama have met face-to-face debate as the field gradually dwindled. They’ll do it once more next week in Cleveland ahead of the key March 4 primary.

Hillary,

I love the smell of desperation in the morning

It smells like.....

VICTORY!

For President Obama.

Clinton has shown her ability to administer an organization with her horribly bungled handling of her own campaign.

Just think, America, you have the chance to vote for someone who mismanged over a million dollars, put her supporters on the hook to repay a $5,000,000 loan, appointed inept friends as campaign managers, failed to file the paperwork for a full slate of Pennsylvania delegates, blindly listened to advisors who said there was no reason to plan for a struggle after the Feb 4th primaries and who refuses to release her tax records until they're irrelevent to the primary.

Truely this person is well prepared to handle running one of the most complex organizations in the world. You can tell by the brilliant handling and judgement shown in her campaign. Be excited that you can have the same handling and judgement in the White House!

She'll be ready on Day One ... but apparently not a single moment before.

How much longer will Hilary just keep on with negative personal attacks on BARACK OBAMA rather than policy?

Hilary keep raising this matter of not being experienced, can she please answer, what experience did her and Bill's friend Tony Blair have in the UK prior to the 1997 General Election when he became Prime Minister? NONE! - sometimes too much experience seniority can be damaging as you are too set in your ways, you can be arrogant that something is your right, that only you know best and that sums up Hilary.

What concerns me with Hilary is that she will have to be Dragged from the race screaming and shouting, she will show no dignity - this will not only damage her Party but herself longer term and what role she can play in American politics in the future.

At one point, the audience shouted, "Si, se puede" in response to Clinton, which, translated into English, means, "Yes, we can," a phrase most associated with Obama's campaign.

Plagiarist!!!!! No one is allowed to use words that at one time have been spoken by someone else!!

I hope the Latino community remains loyal to Hillary as compared to the Affrican-American community who abandoned her and jumped on the Obama Band Wagon... forgetting how she always stood by them.
Remain loyal Texas and we will succeed.

“If you’re votes are not cast, they can’t be counted. If you’re voices aren’t raised, they can’t be heard,” she said.

Seriously? If "you're" votes are not cast?

I expect better from the Baltimore Sun, wait... did I just say that? Nope, it's just par for the course.

not in texas, hrc, not in my state.

I hope the people applauding Clinton's immigration reform remarks will look carefully at her position and Obama's position before voting.

Here's a quote from a recent Ruben Navarrette article:

Or maybe they're having trouble keeping track of Hillary's positions on the immigration issue; one minute, she's telling a largely Hispanic audience in Nevada that "no woman is illegal" and the next, she's telling a largely non-Hispanic audience in South Carolina that "anybody who committed a crime in this country or in the country they came from has to be deported immediately, with no legal process."

I still don't know what Hillary has in her background that would make her more qualified than Obama. Both of them have no executive experience. The experience she has is being married to Bill, for what that is worth. In a major crisis, if Hillary were president, Bill would dominate the media; she wouldn't be able to keep him from influencing events or the outcome. I'd rather have a novice in the White House that was his or her own person with no hangers on from the past. She has done nothing I can see to merit the office. Plus, she will have the big Bubba around her kneck for as long as she would be in office. We don't need, and don't want a dual presidency of people of such questionalble integrity. Other than a few interest groups, the rest of the country is coming to the same conclusion. Go home, Hillary and take Bubba with you!

“I want to thank her and all of you for your support and for your prayers because I am asking you to vote for me for the hardest job in the world. I know that. I watched my husband with Monica Lewinsky. I know how hard this job is,” she said. I bet it was!

Vote for the person with the best ideas, not the best speeches.

How will Obama bring people together on serious, controversial issues like stem-cell research, global warming, and abortion?

Does he really expect Republicans to side with him ?

He couldn't even take a stand on serious issues as an Illinois state senator because he was afraid of upsetting people.

Ducking the issues instead of taking a side is not going to produce *change*.

I thought passing English 101 is a requisite to becoming a journalist. You're = you are or you were != your. Who does the editing around there?

WHY DOESN'T SHE HAVE ENOUGH FAITH IN HERSELF TO STICK TO WHAT SHE CONSIDERS HERSELF TO BE GOOD AT AND STOP TRYING TO BELITTLE HIM.
ALSO, CAN THE LATINO COMMUNITY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT HILLARY HAS DONE FOR YOU AND YOUR COMMUNITY THAT SHE IS SO CONFIDENT THAT SHE HAS YOU ALL IN HER HIP POCKET. I AM NOT BEING SARCASTIC I JUST REALLY WANT TO KNOW.
OBAMA '08 !

did she plagiarize "immigration as a political football?"

The more Clinton belittles Obama's so-called lack of experience, the more attention she brings to his accomplishments. Frankly, I've become more impressed with Obama and how he's stood up to the Clinton machine. Stand up to that and the rest of the world is a piece of cake.

This sounds almost the exact same comments that Obama has been making for months. I also notice that she is now using "we" instead of "I". Well that's good she can learn from someone better than her.
“We are going to fix this broken immigration system,” she said. “It is long past time that we quit treating the immigration system like a political football. It is time we actually brought the country together to do what must be done. Yes, we need secure borders, but we also need a path to legalization for those that worked hard.”

Just curious, other than her self-serving statements, what evidence do we have that she's the right person to be answering the phone at 3 am? She's never run anything larger than her campaign and the jury is still out on how effectively she's done that (though the mid-term reports don't look good).

How can anyone even pretend not to notice that Hillary's message of "free everything for everyone" is patently absurd?

Is anyone shocked that she has a strong following with three demographics: uneducated, the "socioeconomically disadvantaged" and Hispanics?

Anyone with an education knows her proposals are insolvent and damaging to our economy.

Anyone with a good job and a steady income understands that her proposals will be paid for out of your labor.

And anyone who is not Hispanic is rightfully terrified at the prospect of inviting the devastation of illegal immigration upon the rest of the country.

If you're in her target demographic, I pity you; life has not been easy for you.

For those of us who are not in her target demographic, God help us because Hillary has made it very clear she intends to purchase votes with your tax dollars. It's a 50% +1, divide and conquer mentality, and if you think it will benefit anyone in the end, you're sadly mistaken.

It's the American equivalent of calling for land reform to secure the vote of the masses. For your own sake, see through this disingenuous political rhetoric - it's in all of our best interests.

The late President Ronald Reagan was hailed as one of the best orators of the last century. He won the presidency by a landslide. Then, in the next 8 years of his administration, we saw the middle class disappeared, our deficit mushroomed and the Iran-Contra dominated the headlines.

In this century, we have christened another Great Orator in the person of Senator Barak Obama. Could it be another ALL TALK BUT NO ACTION? YES, INDEED. His campaign slogan is CHANGE. Would someone ask him please what change did he introduce as a Senator the last 2 years or so? Perhaps, voting PRESENT? Could be.

The United States system of government is based on laws. Congress makes laws. Courts rely on case law and statutes. The president issues executive orders. Attorneys practice the law. Americans and residents of this country are expected to obey the laws of this country.

However, Hillary wants to give a free ride to illegal immigrants who don’t have to be held accountable for breaking our laws.

Hillary Clinton (an attorney and a member of the U.S. Senate)
says we can’t deport the lawbreakers because there are too many illegal immigrants here. What legal basis is this? If sheer numbers of people disobeying the law make the law sterile, then why do we need laws, courts, and Congress?

Hillary says illegal immigrants can have a path to citizenship as long as the illegal immigrants are obeying the law. Wake up Hillary; they ALL broke the law getting her!

I am terrified that a member of Congress (which makes laws) supports lawbreakers.

Also, saying we can't deport 11 million people because the number is logistically too large is saying the U.S. is incapable of taking on the challenge. Thank you Hillary for slamming the resolve of the American people.

Think about it another way. If she says we can’t track down illegal immigrants, what’s that say about national security? How did 11 million people get across our border? How do we know that terrorists didn’t come across the border as well?

Rather than facing the problem, Hillary takes a fatalistic opinion of the illegal immigration problem and is just caving in and saying, let’s just close our eyes and give them citizenship.

Hillary, as a leader of our country, is the highest law enforcement officer in the country. Allowing her to pick and choose laws people have to obey based on numbers of people that disobey the law is contrary to our system of law.

Caving in to illegal immigrants and rewarding them with citizenship over the wishes of the American people just shows Hillary’s complete disregard for the law-abiding citizens of this country.

Paul...

You my friend are a moron. That phrase is not Obama's. It started over 30 years by Caesar Chavez. Obama has copied the phrase and applied to his campaign. Go away and drink your latte Obama bot.....

She has brought in Harold Ickes to destroy her opponents. Google his name, read his Bio. Here it comes. It's all so sad.

"How will Obama bring people together on serious, controversial issues like stem-cell research, global warming, and abortion?"

There's already a consenus on stem-cell research. We just need a president who won't veto the bills.

There's largely a consensus on global warming. Even Bush is admitting to it these days. We just need a man who can carry out the right plan to combat it while remaining economically sound.

Abortion is settled law. We just need a president who will appoint Supreme Court Justices for a better reason than "They'll over-turn Roe v Wade".

I have to admit, Obama never created "HillaryCare"; he never authorized Bush to go to war if GW thought it was wise; he never said it was naive to attack Pakistan and then sat silently by when we did it; and he doesn't know what it's like to be have his spouse cheat on him.

Obama. You have no experience.

If it comes to McCain & Obama, I will be voting for McCain because

a) They both are equal on economy (near zeros)
b) Mr. Obama has no chance against Mr. McCain on national security. One time “no” wonder in a private setting won’t cut it. Come on now, he said he was against war and no one knows what he would have done he if he has seen what the senate as seen and told by Bush.
b) I believe Mr. McCain will take bold steps (on all issues especially campaign finances) as I don’t think he will care for a second term as he is already 70. Mr. Obama on the other hand will be status quo and keep Washington happy so he could win the next term.

Please help me vote democrat this year. Go Hillary.

Airhead.....Hillary has a long history with the Hispanic community. 30+years ago she lived in Texas helping to register our parents and grandparents to vote. What has obama done for the hispanic community????? Nada!!!!

After the smoke clears, the only thing that is going to get changed is our underwear.

Bill Clinton, we are tired of the feel good speeches from you. This time not even on your knees will help out. Not even crying or teary eye will do it. All the people that have supported your crookedness now know that they have been brainwashed. We have finally know what we needed to do. Reject all the smear, dirty tricks which the crooked cronies always do for the clintons. Very smart! Just too bad! Game over!

"Vote for the person with the best ideas, not the best speeches.

How will Obama bring people together on serious, controversial issues like stem-cell research, global warming, and abortion?"

Good point, Jack. Now read and educate yourself. Then please vote for the candidate with proven, documented, sucess, vision and leadership. Read first; then post again.

"I Refuse to Buy into the Obama Hype" http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/20/201332/807/36/458633

... 'cause there's no need to, folow the facts!

The writing of this article is already bias, starting with the title.

The title uses the term 'belittle' which says a lot about the writer's mindset!

Why is it that Hillary belittles Obama when she points out the obvious, his lack of experience and lack of details throughout most of his speeches? Without her pressure, he would not have given us some more details in his last speech!

What about his sexist and insulting remarks about her from the very beginning with "she is likeable enough", "she represents old ideas...only uneducated people support her'.

This is a critical time for our country to pick the right candidate who can lead us through a very difficult few years. Please bring us facts in a professional and objective manner.

thank you.

b) I believe Mr. McCain will take bold steps (on all issues especially campaign finances).

Jimmy,

What we do know is that McCain DID vote for the war; does support staying in Iraq another 100 years; voted against Bush's tax cuts but now wants to make them permanent; and now wants to back out of public (FEC) funding after initially applying for it.

And you're complaining because Obama won't change Washington? Please.

Hillary for president! Laredo, Texas

How can your commentary be taken seriously when you, and your sub-editors, don't know the difference between "you're" and "your"?
The offending sentence:
“If you’re votes are not cast, they can’t be counted. If you’re voices aren’t raised, they can’t be heard,” she said.
For your information, "you're" is a contraction of "you are"...
Not really that hard, is it?

For those of you Obamaphiles, you need to reserve judgment because frankly even the Devil takes on pleasing shapes when he wants your soul. Moderation should be the name of the game. Examine the voting records of both candidates, their tenure in the Senate (Obama seated in Jan, 2005; declared his bid for President in Feb. 2007). Was the Senate just a ruse to the White House? It doesn't say too much about a man who can't even commit to at least one term to the service of the people of Illinois. And speaking of Illinois, I want to give you the words of Emil Jones, the man reponsible for putting Obama in the Senate: "“After I was elected president, in 2003, he came to see me, a couple months later,” Jones recalled, relishing the tale. “And he said to me, he said, ‘You’re the senate president now, and with that, you have a lot of pow-er.’ ” Jones stretched out the word, as if savoring the pleasure of it, and his voice became very quiet as he continued: “And I told Barack, ‘You think I got a lot of pow-er now?,’ and he said, ‘Yeah, you got a lot of pow-er.’ And I said, ‘What kind of pow-er do I have?’ He said, ‘You have the pow-er to make a United States sen-a-tor!’ ” Jones let out a soft, smoky laugh. “I said to Barack, I said, ‘That sounds good!’ I said, ‘I haven’t even thought of that.’ I said, ‘Do you have someone in mind you think I could make?,’ and he said, ‘Yeah. Me.’ ”

Jones let the words hang for a moment, and then went on. “The most interesting conversation. And so I said to him, ‘Let me think about this.’ ” Obama knew that Jones’s support could single-handedly freeze the discretion of other powerful politicians in the state, and put endorsements of possible rivals on ice. “We met a little later that day, and I said, ‘That sounds good. Let’s go for it.’ ”*

There really is NO CHANGE in Obama's APPROACH to politics; it is politics as usual, the machine and manipulative kind. It's about POW-ER, folks. There will be quite a few IOU's to repay, and that payback sacrifices the will of the people for POW-ER.

Obama's accomplishments? ARE YOU KIDDING? I SUPPOSE IF BEING A DIRTY CHICAGO POLITICIAN MEANS ACCOMPLISHMENTS, YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!

OK, what exactly has Mrs Clinton done during her reported 35 years as a humble and honest public servant besides amass a personal fortune estimated at $41 million? How has she made the World a better place?

Lee Ellak wrote, "The United States system of government is based on laws..." Mr Ellak, you are wrong. Laws are for Little People. Bush and Congress prove this to Americans on a daily basis. Ms Pelosi pledged, "There will be no impeachment!" and this guarantees zero accountability for members of both Parties.

Hillary Clinton has great ideas and the ability to lead. I wish her well in the U.S. Senate where she has an opportunity present all of her wonderful ideas.

Cheap shots at Hillary and her supporters.

Obama and Hillary are about 97% identical on policy, so if you're slamming hers, you're most likely slamming his.

If Obama had 8 years as *at the very least* Presidential advisor on his resume, he'd be touting that experience in each and every one of his rousing speeches.

She can't win with you relentless people though..."how dare she try to cast Saint Obama in a less favourable light - that C&#%!!" Who cares if she can do a better job, she's not "likeable".

I'm not surprised though - this happens all the time in the corporate world, so why not the Democratic Primaries as well. You know, the older woman technician who knows the job like the back of her hand is passed up for the promotion in favour of a younger man, who although can't even compare in experience, is just more likeable. That's okay, he'll learn on the job. He'll have 'advisors' and be a glorified figurehead.

I would rather go for experience over charisma anyday. people voted for Reagan because of his charisma and then my mom and many other americans lost their jobs and we were all waiting in line for government cheese. People voted for George W because they like his personality and we shafted there. Now we are headed for another recession and his approval rating is the worst in history. Gore, the smart one, won an oscar and has never been more popular. People keep comparing Obama to JFK because of his ability to inspire but JFK wasn't perfect, he was notorious for his many affairs yet he and his family are viewed as royalty in this country. I honestly believe that people need to be careful. actions speak louder than words and people shouldn't just vote for someone because he has a silver tongue. I seriously believe that Hillary has what it takes to turn the country around. Obama hasn't even been in the senate for more than 3 years and people want him to run the country? that scares me.

Yes, I'll vote for the person who will have a philandering spouse hitting "strange" at 3 in the morning.
Go Obama!

if you want Vision vote Obama - for DiVision vote HILLIARY - if you want lots of experience, vote McCain, if you want a bad flashback, vote HILLIARY - if you want campaign finance reform, vote McCain - if you want special interest/big corporation abuse of campaign financing, vote HILLIARY - if you want honesty, vote McCain or Obama or Huckabee or Paul, but if you want "i did not have sex with that woman" and "vast right wing conspiracy" , vote for the Clintons - if you want high standards, vote Obama or McCain, if you want double standards, vote HILLIARY - if you love Nafta, Vote HILLIARY - if you love earmarks, vote for HILLIARY - if you love candidates that plant questions in the audience, vote HILLIARY - if you want candidates that tell you where they stand on immigration, vote Obama or McCain or Paul or Huckabee - if you want a candidate who waffles on immigration, vote HILLIARY - if you want a strong defense, vote McCain, if you want someone who will not offend other countries, vote Obama but if you want an offensive first spouse, vote for the Clintons - if you want a president who actively tries to count delegates that are not eligible by their own party rules, then vote HILLIARY - if you want a candidate that wants us to win the war in Iraq, vote McCain (or Huckabee)- if you wants a candidate who will get us out of Iraq, vote Obama (or Paul), but if you want a candidate who votes for a war and then criticizes the war, fails to apologize for her vote and blames her vote on someone who is not running against her for office, then by all means vote HILLIARY - if you want someone who believes in restricted government, vote Ron Paul - if you want a million ideas for a massively expanded government, vote HILLIARY, if you want to look backward, vote for HILLIARY, but if you want change in washington, then no more bush-clinton-bush-clinton - one day (soon) the US will have a woman president, but if we want a good one, we must wait

If these sarcastic Clintonites keep referring to Sen. Obama as "the Messiah," I assume it is fair game to refer to the Clintons--the stars of financial scandals past, present and to come--as "the Profits."

Martin Edwin "Mick" Andersen

I hope the MSM will start to consign the attacks against Barack Obama by Hillary, Bill and their host of retainers and other trained seals to their proper chamberpot category.

It's clear that the spirit of H.L. Mencken's Boobus Americanus still lives in the hearts of too many of our fellow Democrats.

To the Democrats who still support Hillary, I suggest meditating a bit on Plato's allegory on The Cave.

Then come out into the sunlight of transparency, ethics and respect for the English language (including respect for what the meaning of the word, "is" is)-- and join the Obama campaign!!!

McCain's national security views are how different from Bush failed policies?

Militarily, America has a poor image in the world, doing things without UN agreement.

McCain chastised Obama called him "naive" for suggesting out loud the bombing Al-Queda camps in Pakistan.

"The best idea is not to broadcast what you're going to do, that's naive," said McCain, who also questioned the very notion of "bombing Pakistan without their permission."

April 19th

Speaking at Murrells Inlet VFW Hall in South Carolina, McCain was asked when he thought the US Military might "send an air mail message to Tehran."

"McCain began his answer by changing the words to a popular Beach Boys song,"Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran,' he sang to the tune of Barbara Ann,"

McCain then added, "Iran is dedicated to the destruction of Israel. That alone should concern us but now they are trying for nuclear capabilities. I totally support the President when he says we will not allow Iran to destroy Israel."

Later, McCain campaign spokesman Kevin McLaughlin told ABC News that the senator "was just trying to add a little humor to the event."

John McCain makes jokes about bombing another country, that's really naive with all his experience!

Keep McCain in the Senate, he's advocated more troops in Iraq when most want troops to come home sooner than later.

Vote Obama for President.

America needs a better image in the world to make military and trade agreements. Someone that includes the UN when America has to do something internationally.

We are not supposed to be nation builders, just for oil rich countries!

The next President has to raise taxes on oil companies. Create incentives for state government so they can lessen taxes on gasoline saving citizens money.

If you vote for the GOP, the oil companies benefit.

Hey Mark, do you really believe oil companies or any company for that matter pay taxes? Where do you think they get their money, the tooth fairy? They get it from you, moron. Also when you take more of their profits everyone with a 401K suffers because every 401K investment company buys oil stocks. Get a brain. Taxes are a cost of doing business that is just passed on to the consumer.

Then come out into the sunlight of transparency, ethics and respect for the English language (including respect for what the meaning of the word, "is" is)-- and join the Obama campaign!!!

Posted by: Martin Edwin "Mick" Andersen | February 21, 2008 7:55 PM

Does respect for the English language include to avoid passing off another man's words as his own - tsk, tsk, not even the courtesy to give credit to the real author until Obama was found out. Then, his response was that he and Patrick are close friends and Patrick told him to use the " just words..." speech. But at least Obama would have had the courtesy to give credit to Patrick,; no indeedy, he wanted to continue the perception of being an oratorial genius. Egotistical, don't you think, or maybe, he promised Deval Patrick an administrative position in exchange for not making him look bad.

Eagle,

It's a choice what 401K groups invest in and your the fool advocating profits on the backs of others.

Consumers are most important constituency not investors.

Most consumers still aren't investors in stocks. I buy land instead. Not oil rich property unfortunately.

The gasoline industry I care nothing about, its too much paying for gas and I live in a limited mass transit city.

I am moving deeper into the city, cutting my commute down to 5 minutes from home to work. Some days I could walk, jog or ride a bike.

Vote for McCain, I don't care.

I'm voting for Obama and for more taxes on oil companies, less taxes on gasoline.

Cash of out of your 401K if you can, that should be a choice of every investor.

@ Linda, excuse me!?!?! i am an african-american and how dare you imply that people do not have the right, intelligence and dignity to not only change their minds, but make an educated decision? furthermore, this one big group of african-americans that as you "say" supported her....possible did so at that time because she/they (the clintons) were the lesser of two evils. perhaps she/they did have more to offer at that time, but as it stands, she clearly does not have the "cattle" she needs this time around. question for you, do you wear the same socks you wore when you were in the 5th grade? probably not....maybe because, you've changed, your needs changed, and your preferences have changed. elevate your mind to making educated decisions instead of your alleged racial support that seems to thwart one or both candidates across the line of victory. oh, and please tell me what hillary clinton has done for me.....

Clinton has had the experience of going 0-11...Is that the experience advantage she's talking about?

Integrity, intelligence, leadership and change! That's Obama! Go Obama! Vote Obama! He would be a great asset to this country and to ALL AMERICANS!

Obama’s efforts to connect to the Republican Party, specifically Bush, and Dick Chaney, of the Halliburton Company, dates back to the Presidents Grandfather, Prescott Bush, and indeed Chaney was once an executive officer of Halliburton.

The American military pounds Iraq with Artillary, bombs, and the like, destroying large sections of cities, and infra-structures, then Halliburton comes in to rebuild. Halliburton and Halliburton associated companies have raked in ten’s of billions.

Obama is just like the BIG HALIBURTAN. Haliburton has contracted to build detention centers in the U.S. similiar to the one in Quantanammo Bay, Cuba. Halliburton does nothing to earn the Two Dollars for each meal an American Serviceman in Iraq eats.

http://www.halliburtonwatch.org/

Halliburton was scheduled to take control of the Dubai Ports in The United Arab Emiirate. The deal was canceled when Bush was unable to affect the transfer of the American Ports.

Now we see what some might suspect as similiar financial escapading from the Democrats.

Two years ago, Iraq’s Ministry of Electricity gave a $50 million contract to a start-up security company - Companion- owned by now-indicted businessman (TONY REZKO) Tony Rezko and a onetime Chicago cop, Daniel T. Frawley, to train Iraqi power-plant guards in the United States. An Iraqi leadership change left the deal in limbo. Now the company, Companion Security, is working to revive its contract.
Involved along with Antoin “Tony” Rezco, long time friend and neighbor of Democratic Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, and former cop Daniel T. Frawley, is Aiham Alsammarae. Alsammarae was accused of financial corruption by Iraqi authorities and jailed in Iraq last year before escaping and returning here.

"GLORK" Obama looks like Alfred E. Newman: "Tales Calculated To Drive You." He is a MUSLIM "Glork" He's MAD!!! Alfred E. Neuman is the fictional mascot of Mad. The face had drifted through American pictography for decades before being claimed by Mad editor Harvey Kurtzman after he spotted it on the bulletin board in the office of Ballantine Books editor Bernard Shir-Cliff, later a contributor to various magazines created by Kurtzman.
Obama needs to disclose why he is a MUSLIM "PATWANG-FWEEE" and stop suppoting our intervention in IRAQ. It’s time to introduce this false, fake "GLORK" Xerox - X box Obama and invite the self-indicting thief plagiarizing pipsqueke Xerox - X box to meet the Buffalo "GAZOWNT-GAZIKKA" Police Department Buffalo Creek.
