Hillary Clinton turned to the personal fortune she and her husband recently have amassed to fund her presidential campaign in January, loaning her presidential bid $5 million during the month.
"Late last month Senator Clinton loaned her campaign $5 million," Clinton communications director Howard Wolfson said."The loan illustrates Sen. Clinton's commitment to this effort and to ensuring that our campaign has the resources it needs to compete and win across this nation. We have had one of our best fundraising efforts ever on the web today and our Super Tuesday victories will only help in bringing more support for her candidacy."

So they really raised only 7.5M in January while Barack collected 32M in the same month. Interesting development to say the least.

I hope you runs out of cash by the end of February, so we can say goodbye to the 'ruthless opportunist.'

Thank God $$$ = free speech in America!
But ya know, it don't sound too 'free', does it?
We little people are the ones with the 'free' speech, and it's cheap. Nobody in power listens to it.
You gotta have that $$$$$ free speech to matter!
Praise the $$ and Hallelujah!

Just a matter of time til we learn what those 'bundlers' and "non-pacs" who work for (wait for it)PACS AND SPECIAL INTERESTS expect for their bucks. Why does this campaign seem like bush lite?
I know, because the chicago media kids just like playing the 'national politics game'
. It's no game, kids. Show us who this guy is before it's too late--and maybe there's nothing to learn. But you'll be blamed if there is for the stars in your eyes. Did you enjoy being penned up and unable to hear his supporters utter another 'hymeetown' reference?

I've read all of the vitriol being directed towards the Clintons in these postings and can't help but think that roughly half of the people posting here voted for Bush and quite possibly significantly more half voted for Bush given the amount of venom in their words and the fact that this venue is being provided by the Tribune. Too bad they have forgotten the good times they had when the Clintons were influencing the direction of our country. More depressing is the fact these posters can't find it in themselves to cut the Clintons 1/10 the slack they have and continue to give Bush.
