TUCSON, Ariz. – Only in Arizona, could people get heat exhaustion at an event in February.

Sen. Hillary Clinton's event this evening inside a gym at the University of Arizona felt like an oven, with so many people fainting, getting dizzy and throwing up that Clinton had to pause to ask who needed water.

On the plane ride over from California, which thankfully landed without incident, Clinton spoke with reporters, saying that her healthcare plan makes her the best candidate to take on Sen. John McCain in the fall – a statement that allows her to dig at both McCain and Sen. Barack Obama.

"I think my strong advocacy for universal health care puts me in a much better position to take on John McCain. You know, John McCain’s going to get up there and say, ‘I have a health plan, it’s going to cover a lot of people. How many is your plan going to leave out?,’ she said, channeling the senior Arizona senator.

"'Well, I don’t know, more or less than your plan.’ – That is a losing argument for Democrats."

Asked about Sen. Obama's 2nd amendment stance changing over the years, she contrasted
herself again.

"Well he has to speak to his own record, which has obviously changed over a relatively short period of time," she said.

"My understanding is that really within the space of 4 or 5 years, he’s had several positions on a number of really challenging issues. You’ll have to ask him why he has so rapidly changed position from year to year."

Obama is not credible, is too much of a flip-flopper, and he lacks experience. I am supporting Hillary Clinton.

Hillary has experience, she has been battle tested, she won in NY with a large coalition of support, both Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, she has the best ideas and policies to move America forward.

Hillary Clinton can WIN in November. Obama would get destroyed by the Republican machine.

McCain is going to get his butt kicked in the general election, I don't care what the polls say about him now:

"McCain Changes His Position On Iraq (again)"

To hear some of John McCain’s media admirers tell it, “McCain, whether you agree with him or not, has been entirely consistent about the war.” To hear his campaign tell it, “John McCain has maintained a consistent record on Iraq since the very beginning.”

But pesky little details like reality keep getting in the way.

"When McCain Opposes His Own Legislation"

Over the last year or so, when John McCain was struggling to get his presidential campaign back on track, one of his more notable challenges was reinventing himself — again.

Hillary is the only real Democrat in the primary left. Read why Obama believes people voted for Reagan.

"I think they felt like with all the excesses of the 1960s and 1970s and government had grown and grown but there wasn't much sense of accountability in terms of how it was operating. I think people, he just tapped into what people were already feeling, which was we want clarity we want optimism, we want a return to that sense of dynamism and entrepreneurship that had been missing."

The excesses and growth of the government were what the Democrats did. It was Medicare, Civil Rights, the Great Society, the Environmental Movement, Progressive taxation, Government Regulation of Corporations and Gay Rights. Calling them excesses is Republican language. Most Democrats didn't think they went far enough. And the "clarity" was against the honest soul searching that Americans had after Vietnam and Watergate of our place in the world. And lets not forget that Reagan's rose colored glasses made those suffering from aids invisible.

Senator Obama has a great message of hope and I believe his sincerity. However, I think our vast and complex problems require an experienced politician at the presidential level. Senator Clinton has the depth of knowlege and experience to begin unraveling some of the complex issues. She knows the turf and gets my vote.

If you were given cooked intelligence would you be able to vote correctly?

When Bush served up cooked intelligence he snookered the entire country.

Impeachment is in order.

After attending an Obama rally, where none of the 20,000 or so people threw up, he definitely has my passionate support. Hillary is too polarising to win against a republican, if she is the nominee they've got it in the bag. Familiarity breeds comtempt and she is like a republican masquerading as a democrat, the republicans don't like it and they band together like herds of turtles. If change is truly going to occur, it must be with someone who inspires others to greatness. Barack Obama inspires and unites like the legends of old;JFK,RFK,MLK, no one else has had this big of an impact on people since the '60's. Obama: Right, from day one. Yes, we can!

What is so wrong with someone changing their minds on issues. If someone presents me with a better idea than what I have then logic suggest that I move to the better idea. The problem is being so stubborn where you refuse to change no matter how wrong you may be.
Hillary's Presidential experience is as much or as little as Obama. Neither has served as President. No experience. Hilary, experience as a senator, mother, first lady, lawyer.
Obama, experience as a senator, father, neighborhood organizer, lawyer.

Hilary is a opportunist, poll-tested chauvinist. She flip-flop as the poll data swings. Clintons are part of bad vibe brings to White House, with Bill Clinton lurking in White House getting a rub from 'that woman' Monica!

America is being ruled by 2 Bush & Clinton family for last 20 years; enough for dynasty. We need a fresh face, new ideas, not only change - a 'real change' - lets turn the page.

"I think my strong advocacy for universal health care puts me in a much better position to take on John McCain..."

Her health care plan failed the first time she was in the White House. Oh, wait, that doesn't count in her 35 years of experience.

Obama/Edwards 08!

National Polls have shown that McCain would beat the Clintons. Nothing will bring the Republican party together like a Clinton Candidacy. Most of the young voters who you see active in this primary will stay home in November if Hillary is nominated. Why? Because who can be inspired by 28+ years of the same two families running this country. Boring

The folly of Clinton's claim that she has the EXPERIENCE needed (35 years of it, according to her) to make CHANGE is best illustrated on the health care issue.

15 years ago, when she presumably would have had 20 years of EXPERIENCE under her belt, she was IN CHARGE of coming up with a national healthcare plan.

It was unprecedented to have the FIRST LADY in charge of anything outside of decorating the White House.

How well did Hillary do on getting the health care issue resolved? Well, it led to the Republican's getting control of the House for the first time in decades.

Hillary, of course, would argue - "that was 15 years ago. I've learned a lot since then."

Well, 5 years ago, she voted to trust Bush's judgment on whether or not the U.S. should invade Iraq. We all know how well that went. Even McCain thinks we'll be in Iraq for a hundred more years trying to straighten out that mess.

1 year ago, she chastised Obama for saying he would act on "actionable intelligence" inside of Pakistan. Yet when we take out al-Qaida's # 4 a few days ago, Hillary hardly says "boo."

Hillary Clinton: Great on EXPERIENCE, Lacking in GOOD JUDGMENT.

Go ahead and have Hillary as your choice. Bill Clinton has already assured that blacks will stay away from the polls if you do. I can't stand McCain but he will beat Hillary and the baggage of Bill Clinton that is attached to her. The Clintons are so yesterday, time for new blood even if it is old prune face backstabbing McCain. Obama could win and I'm a Independent CONSERVATIVE saying this. The Clinton machine could assure a Republican WIN in November. Just say NO to the Clinton MACHINE.

Clinton's best defense against the Republicans is that she campaigns just like one. Read this column today about Clinton push-polling in California.

http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/02/breaking-news-p.html

"Ed Coghlan was just starting to prepare his dinner in the northern San Fernando Valley the other night when the phone rang. The caller was very friendly. He identified himself as a pollster who wanted to ask registered independents like Coghlan a few questions about the presidential race and all the candidates for Super Tuesday's California primary.

Ed, who's a former news director for a local TV station, was curious. He said, "Sure, go ahead."

But a few minutes into the conversation Ed says he noticed a strange pattern developing to the questions. First of all, the "pollster" was only asking about four candidates, three Democrats -- Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards, who was still in the race at the time -- and one Republican -- John McCain.
[...]
That's when I caught on," said Coghlan. He realized then that he was being push-polled. That malicious political virus that is designed not to elicit answers but to spread positive information about one candidate and negative information about all others under the guise of an honest poll had arrived in Southern California within days of the important election.
[...]
Coghlan said he was offended by such underhanded tactics and knew he was going to get out a warning about this dirty trick, but he said he played along for the full 20-minute "poll."
[...]
Phil Singer, the spokesman for the Clinton campaign. was contacted by e-mail last night. He answered that he was there. He was asked if the Clinton campaign was behind the push-poll, knew who was behind it or had any other information on it. That was at 5:27 p.m. Pacific time Saturday. As of this item's posting time, exactly eight hours later, no reply had been received."

I see the GOP is at it again.
"I know, let's accuse the Clinton's of another crime. Everyone will believe us because they always have. Even though Kenneth Starr failed to prove any accusation against them, with the help of the right wing media, we can keep digging up Whitewater forever."

Wow, eight hours. I guess that proves the Clinton's are guilty, right Jeff?

I think we are all confused about the issues that are not completely addressed with all these politicians. As far as I can see we need to eliminate the HMO programs. They have not worked well since 1973 and they will continue to rob us of the fact of expensive health care issues. We need to get back to the standard we had before HMO's. It would put individuals back in control of medical expenses and give the doctors the ability to negotiate with the pharmacatuial industry. What is wrong with this country is big government that will continue to grow out of control if we do not elect the right person for office.
We are so quick to vote for someone in our party that we forget to look at all the issues that we need to reform, and therefore we wind up with the same thing for another 4 years. I don't think either health care program is going to happen and I don"t think it will help our situation. Even if it happens it could be another 4 years.
I don't ever know what mccain's plan is for health care. My plan would be like Dr. Pauls plan and that is to get government out of our day to day lives and decisions. Until american's wake up to the fact we don't need government to make all our decision's we will be in a much bigger mess then with the Bush administration. Start looking at each canidate's proposal and make a decision based on what is logical and not because you are a Dem or Rep. Lets wake up america and take our country back. It will never happen with Hillary or Obama. It won't happen with Mccain or Romney. These folks aren't looking for a job they are looking for the power that this position brings. Look at Ron Paul's issues and decide. I'm a registered Dem and have changed my party affiliation to Rep because I believe in what our founding fathers did for us and we need to get back to the basic works of this country. If not the american people have no one else to blame but themselves. What about the economy? No one wants to really address this question and come up with a plan to get us out of this mess we are in. Look up Ron pauls plan to fix the economy. It is on his web-site. Hillary wants to go back to the tax's that were being paid during her husbands administration. Why doesn't the government do something about tax's on social security? None of the canidates seem to care about that. Oh, well I guess what ever happens, happens. I know I cannot vote for either Dem canidate or any of the Rep canidate. I can only vote for Ron Paul because of his stand on the real issues that are hurting this country.
