There's the now famous Will.i.am video paen to Sen. Barack Obama made by some of his celebrity supporters.
Now there's a copy cat video that memorializes the words of Sen. John McCain.
Unfortunately for McCain, it wasn't made by his supporters but by a bunch of comedy writers.
So it's at once a send-up of the Will.i.am video and McCain's position on Iraq, which is that there could be a long-term U.S. presence there, like maybe 100 years, maybe more.
A lot of people have seen the "McCain" video by now on YouTube. But it was news to us when we learned about it this afternoon so we thought we'd share it since there are probably a lot of other people who haven't seen it.

There are gonna be other wars. If that doesn't do it, nothing will.

Wow, maybe the McCainiacs (Jeffy) can respond with a music video from Wilford Brimley and Sly Stallone...
This a great video and VERY TRUE.
I hope the young people out there are listening to what crazy John McCain says he has in mind for them, four words: "LESS JOBS, MORE WAR".
Here's John McBush doing his best Dr Strangelove impersonation:

Well, McCain is a straight talker, and he is telling us straight out what he plans on doing.

There's a reason people call him "Insane McCain"!
I'm just saying.

It must be the steroids he is taking for his melanoma. He is delusional.

According to the nutroots above (none of whom are fit to lick war hero McCain's boots), John McCain is "crazy", "insane", "delusional", and on "steroids".
Have they no shame?

I'm a Vet and I agree, McCain is a crazy old man who is still fighting the Vietnam war...in his head.

You're right, we don't have to kiss John McBush's crazy old boots and we don't plan on doing so, we'll let nuts like you kiss his arse.

Welsh,
I guess shame is not in the equation, considering McCain is shamelessly pandering.

Welsh,
You don't know who here has worn the uniform, or who has done what or when.
This is politics. If Jesus came back to run for prez. he would be crucified,,,,by Christians.

I like McCain's heroism but don't believe he has what it takes to be a president of our messed up country. Frankly, am fearful that the country and our policies are too far gone for recovery.

gloria,
You have hit on something important; Just because someone showed physical courage 40 years ago doesn't mean they have political or moral courage today. (See Swiftboat Liars for a good example.)

gloria, do not doubt the powers of Barack Obama. Why, he singlehandedly defeated the FISA bill in the Senate today, restoring freedom to this great country. Oh, wait...
