The "Potomac primaries'' get under way Tuesday -- in Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C.
It's a big day for Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois, attempting to build on a weekend sweep of primaries and caucuses in his virtually tied contest with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton of New York for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination. And it's a big day for Clinton, seeking to regain some momentum as the contests head into bigger states soon -- Ohio and Texas.
Among the Republicans, Sen. John McCain holds a considerable advantage in the party's delegate chase. But Mike Huckabee, the former governor of Arkansas, insists he will not "walk off the field.'' Rep. Ron Paul of Texas remains on that field as well.

McCain will win the winner take all Virginia primary and if he gets enough delegates in DC and Maryland Huckabee will be mathematically eliminated. Let's get it done and let the democrats beat each other up until the convention!

Today, the US was threaten by the 4th largest supplier of oil to the USA to stop shipping. The degree to which the USA is dependent upon outside financial support, the more likely that its independence is influenced by other countries. Two of the largest influences come from China imports and the purchase of foreign oil. The USA has the ability today to change its dependence upon oil and China imports.
The candidate whom will stop the USA's dependence on oil will allow the USA economic growth to expand.

Here's something from an article in Sunday's Portland (Maine) Press Herald that describes the record number of enthusiastic participants at Saturday's Obama rally in Bangor, which created enormous traffic jams. I think this tells it all:
"Frank Mujyanama, 23, an exchange student from Uganda now studying at the University of Southern Maine, said he was amazed to walk into an auditorium packed with white people supporting a black man running for president. When he goes home, he said, he will tell people that America is not the racist country they have heard about.
'This is very, very, very impressive,' he said as he looked around the hall."
This is one of many reasons why I'm supporting Obama!

I would like to know what each candidate will do with the disaster known as "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND", and ask Huckabee if he will do away with science in our schools. There is very little need for science when you can just wait for devine intervention.
