The tale is told of Punxsatawney Phil, the groundhog who emerges from the ground this day to take a measure of the sunlight. They say he saw his shadow. Six more weeks of winter.
The tale will be told Tuesday of a 22-state sweep of primaries and caucuses in which both Democrats and Republicans are wondering if they will detect any daylight between Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama or between Sen. John McCain and former Gov. Mitt Romney.
In this case, a lack of daylight between either parties' candidates could mean at least another six weeks of a feverish primary campaign. Daylight, a big lead for one Tuesday, could augur the end of a long winter's campaign.

Mark Silva,
One minute it's exotic heads of state summits, the next is rodent forecasting.
How do you know when your sense of self-respect is challenged?

Let's see, Dem's-choice, A female lawyer from Chicago, a Black/white lawyer from Chicago.
Rep's choice, a liberal/Rep Senator from Arizona,
An Economic R Gov, from MA.
One has had true experience Financially & Governing, which one would I choose. The latter.
The Country is full of Lawyers, heck remember why Bill Clinton didn't take bin laden. Wasn't sure of legality.
McCain, served, yes, so Romney would be able to ask him for military opinions along with a bunch of other Generals etc.....
One person has used the veto, and made singular decisions.
He will probably lose.
But a lot of people will still vote for him because they will not sell their soul.
McCain, will get some left, middle and left of right. It's just unfortunate the most qualified IMO probably wont get elected. People say why don't we have better people run? Why, when your entire life is selectively opened up (by the press) and trashed.
Whoever responds to me, before you do, "would you open up your life, your families and friends life for the entire world to selectively pick apart?" That's why there are a lot of Politicians who are a second choice elected. They will open up your wallet and promise anyone anything.
The groundhog, well it'll be a reflection of promises and your money.
