SAN JOSE, Calif. – Esteemed Tribune colleague John D. McCormick wrote yesterday that Sen. Barack Obama plans to visit two-thirds of the 22 Super Tuesday states by the time voting begins Tuesday morning. Sen. Hillary Clinton has an altogether different plan.

Clinton will visit about half the Super Tuesday states – schedules are still being planned – but she's also set to talk with voters in every one of the 22 states though a 'virtual town hall,' using satellite interviews, the Internet and cable television to bring together an event the campaign's calling "Voices Across America."

Scheduled for Monday night, Clinton will take questions, in person, from voters at a TBD location in New York. She'll also take questions via satellite from the other states. The first hour – it starts at 9 EST – will be carried on the Hallmark Channel. (The campaign bought the time; and for now, is not saying how much they paid for it.)

Questions – either in text or video form – can be submitted early on a page of Clinton's Web site, found here. According to the campaign, "one person who asks Hillary a question via the campaign Web site will get the opportunity to ask the question in-person at the town hall in New York. They will also have the chance to meet Hillary backstage after the event."

Contest void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations governing such contests apply.

(No really, it says that on the Web site, as this is a legal contest.)

The 22 cities where the campaign will host events are Birmingham, AL; Phoenix, AZ; Little Rock, AR; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Denver, CO; Hartford, CT; Wilmington, DE; Athens, GA; Boise, ID; Chicago, IL; Wichita, KS; Boston, MA; St. Paul, MN; Kansas City, MO; Cherry Hill, NJ; Albuquerque, NM; New York, NY; Grand Forks, ND; Tulsa, OK; Knoxville, TN; Salt Lake City, UT.

And when can we expect the Swamp article on what states the Republican candidates will be visiting?

The Swamp. In existence 108 weeks now. Not one of those 108 weeks featured more articles written about the Republican candidates than were written about the Democrat candidates.

No Liberal media bias here. Nahhh. Just a trillion-to-one coincidence.

To be exact, the odds of 108 weeks straight Dem on the Swamp being a coincidence is approx. 134 million to 1.

The big emerging question for Hillary has to be Bill's independent foreign relations program, illustrated by the NY Times piece last week helping someone get a lucrative uranium contract rewarded by a contribution to the Clinton "Foundation."

This has got to be the smartest campaign move immediately prior to a Super Tuesday voting primary date in political history. What a great way to reach out and have an informative conversation on the talking points and issues Americans want addressed. Smart way to get your message across to over 100 million viewers, that are primarily of voting age, at one time.

Who really cares about Hillary's town hall meeting?
How about Obama at Boise?
There is a movement and it ain't for Hillary. The Clinton machine is going to break down.

If you believe we can make a change... http://www.dipdive.com/

Hillary is peaking at the perfect time... Her base is energized. The campaign's has attracted moderate Republicans and also convinced many of them to switch their party affiliation. Apparently, it's working wonderfully.

Also, many of John Edwards supporters have closed ranks with Team Hillary and hit the streets in support of Hillary before Tuesday.

We love you John!

Go Hillary Go!

Hillary is by far the most competent of the remaining viable candidates of either major party.

I will vote for Hillary!

I am voting for Hillary, too.

Go Hillary 08!
