Here are a few Washington events of note for Friday, February 15.
President Bush is meeting with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and then later leaves on his trip to Africa.
Combat veterans of Iwo Jima are holding a reunion and historical review of their World War II battle.
A prototype of the Benjamin Banneker Memorial, a monument to the 18th century African American mathematician, astronomer, clockmaker and publisher, is being unveiled.
