Why should he talk to the press, all the press ever does is transcribe Hillary Clinton talking points and treat them like they are the law of the land.

Let me see, he refused to answer questions about TWO Clinton screw-ups? Ferraro and Spitzer? I wouldn't answer either. They are items Hillary should have to answer for. He didn't make the comment Ferraro did, he did answer for his own campaign's commetns by Susan Power by firing her. Hillary should fire Ferraro. And Spitzer? Well, that is a Clintonite, so why should he answer questions about Elliot's behavior? This is the press trying to goad Obama into attacking Hillary on non-issues. Better to attack her on real issues.

Of course he will shun the press and not answer questions. He's afraid they will find the truth that he hides in his shadowy existence. He stays away from them to control them and not let something slip. He is using the media the same as any other candidate, perhaps better. Ferraro speaks for Mrs. Clinton. Yes, indeed, a white multi-millionaire wife of the President of the US has a tougher time in the US than a black man raised by a teenage single parent. I am not African American, but as a senior citizen feminist I am appalled and furious at these Clintonian sleaze and slime tactics. Rush Limbaugh’s call for Republicans to cross over to vote for Mrs. Clinton to keep the race going and “bloody” Obama brought out over 4% of the so-called Hillary voters in Texas, and this fact has been supported by both Hillary precinct folks and exit polls. Hillary is gaming the system, wink, wink, playing the gender, race and poor-me-class (but I loaned myself five million of my own money as a good investment to win the presidency) cards.

What did you want to hear? That Spitzer get a $30,000 a night stand and Clinton gets $250,000 per speech? That that's how it is in the real world? In my opinion, that's why we need to have Obama in the White House. Isn't that basically what he said the other day Wall Street gets fatter and fatter while the rest of the country scramble to stay in place?

Why should he talk to the press? Hillary whined about gender bias and the news media turned on its heel and began to ignore all the problems in her campaign while they hit on Obama. No matter what he says, the press has twisted it. Had the press been neutral throughout and not advocated for one candidate over the other, I am sure he would be treating them as they deserve. It could be that he feels that the private goings-on of the Spitzers and Craig of the country are not worth commenting on or relevant to a presidential primary. Likely as not, he gets discouraged when he can't even make an innocuous comment about a wind turbine blade without it making a negative blip on your site.

If the press would ask substantive questions about the campaign, maybe he would talk to them. But all they seem to want to cover is the personal animosity and bickering between the campaigns. He has been frequently dismissive with the press from the very beginning. He likes to chastise the media for asking questions that seem inappropriate to Barack. I certainly can understand his frustration with the media, but if he really wants the WH he had better learn to live with it and work with the press . The guy in the WH now never did learn that lesson and thus the media learned to hate him. Barack is already starting out testy and the "game" has barely begun. In his defense, I can't imagine how grueling the campaign trail really is and losing Oh and TX and then the S Powers blow-up may have caused Barack to feel like he needs some breathing room. The thing is becoming president vs a senator means answering tons more questions over and over and over again.

These are questions for the campaign that has condoned the rape of Juanita Rodderick and allows comments like "Latinos don't vote for blacks".

Obama is an "unelectable Jesse Jackson ",who wears funny turban clothes. This Willie Horton at 3am will linger over your white babies. Ohio conservatives read the code. The media with their degrees seem to be code blind coveniently.

Or is it just to divide the party more to benefit Republicans? Some of you seem to have the IQ or the moral emptiness of luggage, which is it? Are you going to ask the hard questions from the campaign that is refining the Lee Atwater tactics or just act like cheap street people in need of medication?

Senator Obama has repeatedly stated his campaign is on the issues. He has ran a clean campaign on the issues. He is not about to beat up women. He is not going to run an old school politics campaign or administration. He stated that from the get go. He has already made his statement about the remark through a campaign release, once should be enough.
Further statement, on the sort of remark as made by Ferraro and previously stated by her in 1988, towards Jesse Jackson, would be nonproductive use of his time and energy, as she clearly Does Not get it.

If the media wishes to be respected as a legitimate source of news, I suggest they start asking the germaine questions.
