Hillary Clinton, right, told impersonator Amy Poehler she wanted her earrings back when the skit was finished on Saturday Night Live. NBC Photo

by Mark Silva

“Live, from New York, it is Saturday night,’’ declared Hillary Clinton, the real Hillary Clinton, following a laborious skit about the last presidential campaign debate on Saturday Night Live featuring Clinton and Barack Obama impersonators.

Clinton had ditched the press corps traveling with her in Texas – without any explanation offered, the candidate was a no-show on the chartered campaign flight to Ohio on Saturday evening – and instead headed to New York for the late-night show.

Clinton’s surprise appearance on SNL came just three days before primary elections in Ohio, Texas, Rhode Island and Vermont – with the Ohio and Texas contests in particular serving as tests of the continuing viability of Clinton’s campaign against Illinois' Obama, undefeated in nearly a dozen primaries and caucuses.

And Clinton wasn't alone on this stage featuring two who once stood as the front-runners in their parties' presidential polling -- Rudy Giuliani helped close the show.

The show opened with a panel of comedians playing newsmen and candidates – including a plodding Brian Williams impersonator and a nodding Tim Russert-player – reenacting the last debate of the candidates in Cleveland, Ohio, an MSNBC production.

After the Clinton impersonator delivered her “bossy and shrill’’ speech at the debate table, the dolt-like Obamactor said, “I think there is a lot of truth in what Hillary said, I really do.’’ The hapless Obaman also got only softball questions during this debate reenactment.

(Read on about the skits below, and see Clinton's appearance here:)

The faux debate, high-pressure on Clinton, easy on Obama, nearly turned into a terrorist interrogation, with a stooge arriving on the set to work the senator from New York over and the debate moderators playing air violins as she protested the imbalance.

The satirical, Obama-weighted debate ended, and the show had begun:

“Thank you and good evening,’’ said the actual Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York, seated before a bookshelf and wearing the same brown coat her impersonator wore. “The scene you just saw was a reenactment - sort of - of last Tuesday’s debate and not an endorsement of one candidate over anohter. I can say this confidently, because when I asked if I could take it as an endorsement, I was told - absolutely not.

“I still enjoyed that sketch a great deal, because I simply adored Amy’s impression of me,’’ said Clinton, standing, as SNL regular Amy Poehler joined her on the set – with Poehler-ala-Clinton mocking the candidate’s laugh.

“Do I really laugh like that?” Clinton asked.

Uh-huh. OK, Clinton nodded in perfect timing.

“The campaign is going very well,’’ Clinton said. "Why, what have you heard?''

"Nothing,'' chirped Poehler.

“Tonight, I just want to relax and not worry about the campaign… But I would like to take this opportunity to say to all Americans… be they from Ohio or Texas, Rhode Island or Vermont…..

“Live from New York, it is Saturday night.’’

This wasn't the only cameo.

Giuliani, former mayor of New York and former Republican candidate for president, showed up at the "Weekend Update'' news desk toward the end of the show.

Remember, Giuliani and Clinton once were cast as the titanic candidates of a New York Senate race, until Giuliani quit it. And Giuliani and Clinton once were the frontrunners in polling for the 2008 presidential race.

Giuliani spoke glowingly of the likely Republican nominee: "Sen. McCain is an exceptional man. He is a leader. he is a hero, and I would be proud to have him as my president.''

He was asked if he would have done anything differently in his own campaign.

"Yes, I would have done things differently,'' he said, "but thanks a lot.

"I've given it a lot of thought, but realized my one mistake was years ago when I hosted this show and wore a dress,'' said Giuliani, denying that his bet-it-all on Florida's primary strategy was flawed. "The Florida plan was solid. I stand by that, but the dress killed me.''

Asked to describe his presidential campaign, Giuliani said, "It's like an SNL skit. It started strong, but you really don't have an ending.''

Go Hillary!!!

Real change = Voting someone into the Whitehouse that actually knows what they are doing.

Vote smart.
Vote Hillary

It's nice to see Sen. Clinton poking fun at the whole thing.
That debate in Cleveland was a joke. Why was Obama allowed 8 minutes extra speaking time, and why did he only recieve soft questions? The whole media is awash with bias.

"Obama... why did he only recieve soft questions?" Ummm -- the Farrakan question was a softball??

Whata hoot Hillary.
Good for you.

Way to go Hillary!
This is a good move on behalf of her campaign which should help to, among other things, underline the reality that has finally begun to be acknowledged that is the media's unjustified preferential treatment of the opponent over the much better-qualified Hillary!

Yes, I agree the skit was a bit tired, but IMO her portion was very good. She was funny and showed her 'good' side. Was it my imagination or did everyone take a deep breath when Amy asked about the campaign? The audience seemed REALLY quiet at that moment. I sorta felt sorry for her when she said the campaign was going very well, and I guess it really shows she has a strong constitution. Perhaps others might use this as an example of how easily she is able to stretch the truth.

I'm still glad I voted for the other guy.

Obama 08

Awesome! I can't wait to see it on the West Coast tonight. I'm so glad that people are starting to see the substance and authenticity of Senator Clinton. I'm always struck by how many of her biggest detractors become her admirers once they meet her and/or have a chance to work with her. She's the real thing. Can't wait to see her! (oh, I hope they do the pillow thing in the debate skit!)

Hillary will be making another appearance --- at her deposition in Paul v Clinton. Live from New York, raise your right hand, Hillary.

It was sort of funny last week, but now it just seems like SNL is promoting her propaganda.

The skit was dead on. Two months ago I was an Obama supporter. This skit shows why I became a Clinton supporter.

I do wonder if Obama was offered equal time. Then again, the show still has 12 minutes to go as I write this--maybe he has yet to be on.

Obama by his own admision is disorganized; thats really an important factor when trying to juggle all the details and facts the President must; couple that with his inflated resume and inflated ego--am I the only person who sees the resemblance to George Bush and that would yield the same results.

Looks like she's going home to deal with defeat. Even still, she's a better choice than the spineless McInsane. John looks like a doddering old fool that wandered away from his nursing facility and got lost. What's the plan? Run this nit wit long enough to get him in the WH and then let his VP (Cheney) take over? You Repubs need to get this: It's not your candidates....It's your party and your complete lack of decency. Until you stop promoting world dominance, elitism, corporate greed, fear-mongering, hate-mongering, bigotry, racism, sexism, homophobia, and your own personal gratification over the good of the country..... No one will take you seriously, or vote for you. Yes, yes... other than the 25% of you that thinks georgie pees perfume and there's a big bad boogey man around every corner. We all know 9/11 wouldn't have happened if little bushie hadn't been in the WH.

"In training materials being handed out by the Clinton campaign, it is clear that they want to control those caucus sessions."

http://trailblazers.beloblog.com/archives/2008/03/caucus-strategy.html

So she's making an appearance on SNL, smiling at all of us, while she's trying to steal an election in Texas.

Can't trust her. At least she'll be a bigger joke than Rudy...'the Florida strategy' anyone?

It's nice to read the comments. Apparently, not all of us have bought into the Obama cult.

It was a very funny skit! SNL still has some magic. And Clinton was a great sport to play along. A great break from the seriousness of the past few weeks of campaign coverage.

And yeah the skit was soooooo dead on accurate!

Great job!

SNL doing it 2 weeks in a row for Hillary is really pushing it a bit too much. First time was funny, this time looked like a commercial for her.

Sorry Hillary, I am sticking with Obama.

When it comes to all things that really matter, there is nothing that Obama says that Hilary can't accomplish.

Go Hilary!

Yes, because if you like Obama, you are in a cult. We are a secretive and shadowy bunch, and you'll see we were right when we ride out on Haleys to commune with the space monsters!

Obama is disorganized? You could never tell that from his campaign. I guess that means he's humble enough to realize he can't do everything and/or smart enough to hire talented people instead of incompetent hacks and corrupt cronies. What a change that will be from the current administration.

You people are comical, Hillary can't even run an effective campaign, but somehow you think she can run a country, too funny! She's already changed her message how many times, fired how many staff members(oh, sorry they resigned how many staff people), had to apologize for how many of her people and the underhanded things they did, yet you think she can run a country, again too funny and I have to ask you what you're smoking to give you these delusiosns!??!

By the way, for all you frothing at the mouth women Hillary supporters, here's a good read for you:

Way to go Sen. Clinton. Great display of your charming personality and sense of humor. We already know your wisdom and competence. I'm so upset with the media referring to the Sen. Obama and Mrs. Clinton or Hillary.
How about equality and respect for this fantastic woman.

Two comments.

One, where was all this media bias Hillary is complaining about last summer when they talked about her as inevitable and Obama as a weak debater?

Two, she had a lead, money, and most of the major endorsements. Maybe Senator Clinton's prospects would be a lot better had her campaign not circled February 5 with the notation "Mission Accomplished."

Yay for Hillary! Way to go girl! I knew from the start that you were the right candidate. I resisted being one of the Pied Piper's (obama) followers. That lack of substance that man has is frightening. Sorry but I want experience in the White House. You don't go from the Mail Room to CEO of a company so why should a jr. senator with no real experience to speak of become President. Not in this day and age. VOTE 4 HILLARY! Texas, Ohio, and Pennsylvania bring us to victory!

uh, douglas? I think Obama has a lot more to worry about with his Chicago associations than does Clinton. Stay tuned for that trial coming up this week, I know a lot of other people will be.
Tuesday should be interesting as well. Rumor has it they've run out of kool-aid in some spots. Stay tuned.

Obama didn't have to lend himself 5 million because of campaign fiscall mismanagemnet nor has he taken money from lobbyists. She cant manage a campaign how will she manage a country. Its obvios her so called experience hasn't taught her much.

SNL you just rock!!! How brave you are to counter the cult Obama and actually broadcast the truth for all of your young viewers who have been drinking the kool-aid. FINALLY we get some truth about this farce of an election.

GO HILLARY!!!!!

Rise Hillary Rise!! Glad to hear obamaniacs admitting the cult thing...we support a shrill, angry cold women with fat ankles, with no friends in the media....and I am so Proud of the fighter in her...she will fight for my family every day in the white house!!

Yeah, it does sound like a concession of sorts -- trying to end the campaign in a positive note. I'm glad she's choosing that route and not going to drag this thing on and on. My respect for her will increase greatly if she bows out on Wednesday.

I have been saying this since the Iowa primaires. There is something "fishy" with the election when the media favored bias for the Illinois Senator is glaring obvious! It's about time the American people realize they have been duped by the media by not getting the simple truths and fact about the candidates.

I urged every American to research the candidates voting records, what they stand for, their accomplishments and their political resume because the media no longer serves their purpose. Make your vote truly count, this election is too important.

Substance and proven experience DOES count. Hillary 08!

Hillary speaks for millions. We have money, we have a voice and we support Hillary!! Loved the SNL editorial after the skit. The skit just reminded me of last week and how I wanted to kick my TV....glad that is over...Can't wait to see a women in the White House next January!! Rise Hillary Rise!

The president who came to office with the most glittering array of experiences had served 10 years in the House of Representatives, then became minister to Russia, then served 10 years in the Senate, then four years as secretary of state (during a war that enlarged the nation by 33 percent), then was minister to Britain. Then, in 1856, James Buchanan Experience (of which Hillary has as much as Obama in terms of executive experience) is overrated ...

Then, in 1856, James Buchanan was elected president and in just one term secured a strong claim to the rank as America's worst president. Abraham Lincoln, the inexperienced former one-term congressman, had an easy act to follow."

Before all the Hillary supporters wet themselves over this, let's remember that this was a parody. You know, humor? That's right, a joke. Now you're catching on. Good. Come Tuesday it won't be such a letdown when the Clinton royal family is, once and for all, dethroned and relegated to the annals of history.
Sorry, but after the next round of primaries, Hillary the clown is going down!

Smarten up and vote Obama. Vote for a bright future, not a return to the distant past.

She also said PA...when she was saying the states. She didn't stop at TX, OH, RI and VT...she also said PA. I think that is significant.

Go Hillary,

That was just unbelievably lame. A bunch of us regular people just watched it. Thumbs down - seems like a long commercial for Clinton. I know the crazed Clintonistas on this board are all psyched, but it iidn't do her any favors to have her appear after the skit. It might have been funnier without Clinton appearing.

But maybe now she can quit whining about media bias. Or not: the victim card is just such an important part of her playbook.

Cripes, since when do people vote for someone who complains like that?

Why in the world would we ever want a president who, rather than naturally commanding respect and love, resorts to complaining about not getting it? That's not a real leader, that's a manipulator.

'cult,' 'brain washed' == code for "young and stupid..." in case you hillary supporters have missed it, your candidate cannot hold her constituency .. the very intelligent, middle-aged, informed public you believe you represent is flocking to Barack because he is intelligent, decent, brings a fresh and out-of-the-box perspective to running the country and a "throwback" to a time when cvility meant something. The last 50 years of our country's history has been filled with govt and companies basically duping citizens into voting, and purchasing *against* their own best interests .. hillary is a continuation of the same ... denegrate obamam's constituency at the risk of really not opening your eyes to the slow bleed of this country for the last 50 years (nearly 20 of those years being managed by a Bush or Clinton) save for the likes of MLK, JFK, yes Nader, and other brave luminaries ... Hillary and McCain both are looking for a reason to drop a bomb on another land ... old strategies for un-informed, arrogant politicians ... give someone besides a Bush or Clinton a Chance

How is the candidate that couldn't even anticipate a campaign running past "Super Tuesday" be ready on day one? She wasn't ready for a real primary race because she believed that the nomination was "owed" to her, simply for being a Clinton.

What gall, what hubris, what arrogance! Now we're treated to the old school, negative campaigning and mudslinging we are all trying so desperately to eliminate from American political discourse. Hillary is a throwback to the 90's. Old school. Schooled and honed by the mainstream political establishment, which has proven it's ineffective leadership for the past 20 years. She IS part of the "old Boy's" club. Put down the paper cups and step away from the Clinton Koolaid.

Obama is the future. Look forward, progressives!

GO OBAMA!!

hillaryspeaksforme.com

Hillary is my hero.

Hillary is my girl! She rocks and TX, OH, RI, VT will open their eyes and see that experience is gold versus to Obama's charisma which is glitter in comparision.

Go Hillary!! B**** is the new Black!!!! Vote for Hillary and give her a chance for a comback!!!!

Hillary Rodham CLinton for President! Do your part Texas, Ohio, R.I. and Vermont. America needs you and it is your time to do what is right by standing up for her b/c as she has said...... she will stand up for us all everyday as our president! Good luck Hillary!

I am so sick of this "she has more experience" lie.

He's won four elections, she's won two. He has served 11 years in elected office, she's served 7.

Being a state legistlator "counts". Guess who had less experience than Obama and never served in national office before becoming President"? Lincoln.

He did pretty well.

She won't release her white house papers, she had no involvement in foreign policy and no security clearance. She wasn't in meetings, she wasn't answering the red phone.

When pressed to cite her foreign policy "experience" her campaign manager cited a human rights speech she gave in China.

A speech. Just words, right?

Unless you want to count her one foreign policy action that she can legitimately cite.

Voting to go to war in Iraq.

Why is she most qualified to answer the red phone? Because she knows where it is in the East Wing bedroom?

Spin, lie, spin , lie. That's what she does.

Sleeping with the boss is not experience. If it is, let's all vote for Monica Lewinsky.

Here's what we can expect from another Clinton administration...

From Kristy Hoppe on Trailblazers Blog:"In training materials being handed out by the Clinton campaign, it is clear that they want to control those caucus sessions.
The materials say in part, "DO NOT allow the supporter of another candidate to serve in leadership roles."
It goes on to say, "If our supporters are outnumbered, ask the Temporary Chair if one of our supporters can serves as the Secretary, in the interest of fairness.
"The control of the sign-in sheets and the announcement of the delegates allotted to each candidate are the critical functions of the Chair and Secretary. This is why it is so important that Hillary supporters hold these positions."

An open order from Hillary's campaign to cheat and skew the outcome of the caucus. How deceptive, How typical. How Clinton. How sad.

We deserve better than this!

OBAMA '08

Hillary was great on Saturday Night Live! I love the show, the set up poked fun at the media, and they made the point clear as day, media favors the more duh, ahhhh, uhhh responsive canidate who seconds Hillary's responses, because he cannot think of his own! Keep going Hillary Clinton, you are the next president!

MSNBC and countless other pundits and reporters are totally in the tank for the great Obama - all you anti-Hillary people need to lighten up regarding the SNL skit. Keep goin' Hillary this is a democratic process not a coronation - there's millions of voters who have yet to cast their votes.

Does anyone want to know why Hillary is disappearing from the media coverage? It is very simple, she hasn't been able to win. When she wins, she will get positive coverage, but not until then. She has shot herself in the foot by not believing that every state deserves a fair shake. Obama is campaigning in states that both favor him and those that do not favor him, and the people are responding.

As for her being ready on day one. No she will not be. She, also, hasn't shown herself capable of running her campaign either. I can not, therefore, trust her with the responsibility to running this country.

It cracks me up how upset BO supporters are by any media that doesn't continue their disgusting sexist narrative. B*tch is the new black and women are starting to defect from the BO camp. If only he had really run a campaign that appealed to our better natures instead of our sexist ones. Hillary is our Commander in Chief and she'll be the greatest president we've ever seen.

Hillary was very funny, charming, and wry.

She has great iming--"Do I really sound like that?" While Amy Poehler hasn't quite nailed her (unlike Daryl Hammond's Gore, Bill Clinton, Jesse Jackson, and Trump), she's geting there and is always a hoot.

Yeah, absolutely.

Go Hillary!

I'm glad to see that she held herself well on the show. For the last couple of weeks I've been very disappointed by how her campaign is being managed. Since I believe this reflects on how she would lead in the White House, I am switching my vote to Obama. I only decided this after spending a great of time researching the policies he's worked on in Illinois and DC. So do not disrepect my opinion by writing it off as being based on fluff. Clinton had the chance and her campaign disappointed me.

Yeah some people have not bought into the whole Obama thing, instead they have purchased into the defective Hillary cult. What is shameful is that they can not even list her achievements, but they will claim 35 years of experience.

Here is the truth, she has about 8 years of elected experience. If she wants to run her campaign based upon experience, she should run on her experience. If she wants to include private and public experience not related to government, then Obama should be able to as well.

Oh can running around the world as first lady giving speeches doesn't count as experience. That after, in her own words, is just words.

You want to talk about a free pass? Where is the scrutiny on her experience?

Go Hillary Go. We need you in the white house more than ever!

Go Hillary! It's so obvious the media is so biased, it's great SNL portray that. Funny!
BTW, that wasn't "a stooge", that was Vincent D'Onofrio from Law & Order, Criminal Intent...Duh.

HIL LA RY!
HIL LA RY!
HIL LA RY!

I am excited about Tuesday. I think that things are going to swing her way...voters are beginning to think critically about the meat of the candidates' messages, as well as the media bias.

SNL said it right last week, Hillary is at least leading in women who are 80+ years, even though she is losing 10 straight and her coalition is weakening.

that is her firewall! go SNL!

I wish I had seen SNL. Hillary really is a likeable sort in real life. Obama has kind of become disombobulated recently if you hear him talk. He probably can't stand the heat if he isn't being given everything. Go Hillary. I am a Republican and I even gave money to Hillary. I guess others did too.

I just donated 5.00 at Obama's website. I think Obama will win. Hillary kinda lies alot.

Hillary needs to carry Texas and Ohio so she flies to New York City? Reminded me of her Wisconsin strategy when she flew straight to El Paso.

I thought SNL crossed a line last week when Tina Fey, during Weekend Update, said Hillary was, "the new black". Sounded like the gender card trying to trump race.

Hillary seems determined to split the party and take this nomination to the convention which only helps the Republicans stay in the White House. She’s not doing the country any favors and her self serving, manipulative crying, mud slinging and staged theatrics are going to be remembered every time a woman runs for any elected office.

"laborious skit" is exactly right.

For a guy with "superior judgement", he sure is clueless about the activities of his friends.

In his first major public address since a cancer crisis, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan said Sunday that presidential candidate Barack Obama is the "hope of the entire world" that the U.S. will change for the better.

The 74-year-old Farrakhan, addressing an estimated crowd of 20,000 people at the annual Saviours' Day celebration, never outrightly endorsed Obama but spent most of the nearly two-hour speech praising the Illinois senator.

"This young man is the hope of the entire world that America will change and be made better," he said. "This young man is capturing audiences of black and brown and red and yellow. If you look at Barack Obama's audiences and look at the effect of his words, those people are being transformed."
HOPE OF THE ENTIRE WORLD-- ha ha ha

Farrakhan compared Obama to the religion's founder, Fard Muhammad, who also had a white mother and black father.
FOUNDER OF BLACK MUSLIMS HAD A WHITE MOTHER AND BLACK FATHER LIKE OBAMA-

"A black man with a white mother became a savior to us," he told the crowd of mostly followers. "A black man with a white mother could turn out to be one who can lift America from her fall."

Farrakhan also leveled small jabs at Hillary Rodham Clinton, Obama's rival for the Democratic nomination, suggesting that she represents the politics of the past and has been engaging in dirty politics.

Farrakhan's keynote address at McCormick Place, the city's convention center, wrapped up three days of events geared at unifying followers and targeting youth.

It had a different tone from a year ago, when Farrakhan made what was called his final public address at a Saviours' Day event in Detroit. The 74-year-old was recovering from complications from prostate cancer and months earlier had temporarily passed on leadership duties of the organization's day-to-day activities to an executive board.

Obama admits he neglected his senate responsibilities during the Ohio debate and then thinks we should trust him instead of Clinton in event of a crisis?

In case you missed it during the Feb 19th debates in Ohio Senator Obama who also serves as Chair of the subcommittee that has oversight over NATO admitted he has not held one single substantive hearing to figure out what the U.S can do to have a stronger presence with Nato in Afghanistan.

Obama admitted it was true stating it was because his responsibilities as chair began at the same time he began running for President. Young men and women are risking their lives and being killed everyday in Afghanistan and he did absolutely nothing because he was too busy running his campaign. This should be wake up call for Obama and all Americans that he not ready or qualified to be President of this nation.

Interesting to note that the day after the debate Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee noted that Senator Clinton has introduced more legislation to address the problems facing wounded service members than any other Senator, including The Dignified Treatment of Wounded Warriors Act (accomplished while running her presidential race).

Yeah, the media is all biased against Hillary. That's why SNL has devoted three unfunny hours over the past two weeks to slamming Obama. Poor Hillary.

WHAT was that? I have no problem with SNL poking fun at Hillary, Obama, or McCain, but when it reaches the level of overt bias towards one candidate (ANY one candidate), then the show has digressed from comedy to political favoritism. SNL just lost fans, and so did Hillary.

Very Funny. I watch Obama talk and man he's really a good talker. Luckily I've been around awhile and have met too many characters to be easily influence by a good talker. I have to admit though Obama belongs in the Hall of Fame for good talkers. What's creepy is the rapture and devotion he has from his followers. I've met some of them gives me the willies

I see that there are still rabid Hillary supporters on this board and I have to wonder why. Hillary has run a disastrous campaign: she's caught on video telling Katie Couric that she will win on Feb 5th, she didn't have a plan for post Feb 5th, she had no idea that her campaign was in financial trouble, she can't control her people - Bill is a bipolar loose cannon and harold ickes and Mark Penn openly fight with each other through the New York Observer. She's schitzo in her message and oscillates between whining and being a shrill.

She claims to be a national security expert and yet her own people (Howard Wolfson and Mark Penn) could not provide a reporter with any facts on what she has done. The air was silent.

Now she's turn to the politics of FEAR, the same politics that George Bush used on us to elevate his power and invade Iraq.

Why does any rational American still vote for Hillary? I mean if she can't run her own campaign (these are people she pays to support her) how the hell is she going to get any results in the Oval office? The only reasonable answer is that people support Hillary because they are blinded by their own ignorances, whether that is fear, pure ignorance, or self-identity crisis. I notice that a lot of her rabid supporters are women, and it seems like the women have a big ol' chip on their shoulders that they've been wronged by the press, uh, I mean society and that they self-identify with Hillary. Ladies, wake up - Hillary has done nothing for you and she will do nothing more. Are you just a woman or are you a mother and a child and a wife or a teacher or any of those roles. If you are a mother, then you need to wake up and see that Obama is the One inspiring the youth to get involved, to care, to hope. Don't let Hillary kill hope in all of us. Don't.

Did some sexist uneducated redneck really say this?

"By the way, for all you frothing at the mouth women Hillary supporters, here's a good read for you:"

Gee this board is attracting a high level of intellect. Must be one of Obama's sheep.

Hillary supporters are not the ones who faint like the Obama dudes...they are not the crazed nut cases screaming a voters at polls breaking Federal Law in Austin.

Hey isnt Obama's Rezko trial starting this week?

Obama and the Nuclear Lobby in Chicago? Nuclear waste and Obama?
and he talks about change?

Hillary supporters dont have to worry about Hillary taking support from Farrakan.

Only Obama takes the support and the endorsement and money from Farrakan and the Muslim sect that hates whites, Jewish, people, gay people, hispanic and every other non black cultural group.

Obama is not for change unless you consider change Farrakan and Rezko along with the Nuclear Waste Companies having dinner at the White House, while Michelle Obama, gives a speech on why she is not proud to be American.

Yeah thats the kinda change I want.

When the phone rings at 3am Obama can give the phone to Farrakan.

Give me a break!

New Motto

REMEMBER NEW HAMPSHIRE

HILLARY 08

BTW check out Jack's new commercial for HILLARY its GREAT!

In context, the Farrakan question WAS softball. In essence: "Mr Obama sir, a president has to deal with unexpected events. What is your immediate unprepared reaction to the endorsement that Farrakan made last week, which your advisors have had a whole week to work on and write a statement for you to memorize? And can you see the teleprompter well enough, or do you need a pillow, sir?"

I cannot believe how the media have attacked Hillary. I will never watch MSNBC or any show Russert is on again!!! I expected this from Fox News but could not believe CNN would be so bias! Go Hillary!!!

I love Tina Fey's comment last week that "Bitch is the new Black!" I want that on a t-shirt!

The Smigel cartoon was racist. Anyone notice that the only funny one left (besides Amy) is Maya and she hasn't been seen lately? Lorne Michaels probably fired her due to her support for Obama. At least they allowed Wilco to show their support for the best candidate.

Did someone on this blog say Obama was disorganized? 20 million dollars and 11 contests in a row disorganized? ROTFL

What a bunch of losers and has been's!
Saturday night live missed a real chance. The White House at 3am. The phone rings, in the dark bedroom, Michelle answers the phone, “It’s that crazy woman again”. Obama takes the phone. “Get over it girl, you lost. … OK next time I’ll take the first question, now let us get some sleep. Good night”

YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot!

Afetr reading most of the comments above, I can't believe how blurry we are on the real issues. Those being a glaring need for a strengthening of infrastruture for the USA, followed by health and education and finally more diplomancy and tact in our foriegn relations (In that order). For these reasons, I think Obama is the right man for the Job. Hillary comes off as not being genuine, manipulative, and of poor character proven by the change in supporters, messeges, and tact during this campaign. So close to the election and se is still not standing on her own two feet. Using SNL to continue to bash and trash. She came off as weak and of poor charater. Obama continues to have class. After the SNL skid, I was left the the impression that Hillary in some way knows she will not win and was in a way conceding and admitting her defeat.

Its time for black issues to be recognized. Go Barrack!!!

Billory pardoned FALN terrorists, Mark Rich and other fraud-masters, gave Bush a free pass with her Iraq vote, stuck with a guy who promised us his best and traded it away for a date w/Monica, freely rips-off campaign slogans from her competitors then accuses them of plagiarism, and fronts a generally negative campaign that will do anything to win, including an intentional appeal to the racial divisions. Not a very comforting record for someone with "35 years of experience."

We've had either a Bush or a Billory in the Executive Branch since 1980. Enough already.

Obama is like a chocolate Easter bunny - looks good outside but hollow inside!!

Hillary really needs to win this primary. You Democrats that will be voting "blue" for the reason of party or change really need to try to foretell what kind of Commander in Chief Obama will be. What kind of military advisers will he have on his cabinet. He will have those with similar pacifistic views and in the views of our potential enemies, the threat of war will not be there. Don't vote blue just foe the sake of a pie-in-the-sky dream of a perfect world.

If one candidate's trying to scare you and the other one's trying to get you to think, if one candidate's appealing to your fears and the other one's appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope." - Bill Clinton, 2004

“Do I really laugh like that?” Clinton asked.

Uh-huh.

The jokes on Hillary. NOBODY WATCHS SNL!!! Talk about clueless.

Obama 2008

Yes, Globally, we are dreamers...looking for a new day rising and the first light from new stars. A child's optimism requires encouragement, and so do all of us broken by the realities of bad systems. In times like these, we need change, change in the mindsets of those in power. We need to hope and hope again...

I have 100 reasons to support HIllary ,more important, she had more things done not just attract limelight. she has substance not empty words.

Regarding the debate:

When you lie then the debate is difficult so that is why Hillary struggles.
If you are upfront and honest and don't have to cover up your previous lies than the debate is easier to handle.

So stop crying about debate difficult, isn't she the one that wanted a debate each week. Once she gets one she complains. We don't need a complainer in the white house. We need someone like Obama to speak the truth and get it done.

If you think I am wrong, why did Hillary back track on releasing her financials. Where there is smoke there is fire!

Texas4Hillary, the comment about cults was a joke. I've read several accounts comparing voting records, and Obama wins out. Obama has run a much better campaign, and she will pay for it on Tuesday.

Gee, when people are picking their candidates based on SNL, that's really sad.

I live in NY. Hillary Clinton has done little here other than sit around waiting to run for president.

I'm a woman and deeply want a woman president, but I'll wait for one who has more to offer.

The reason the skits work is due to the fact there is a media bias already there.
Clinton bashing has been going on a long time. It just got a little kick from the Bill/Chris Wallace go around and has blended into a let's polorize Hillary even more buzz. Chris Matthews, threw in his special I hate her sauce and lately Keith Olbermann has been tossing in his two potatoes. And these guy are the more liberal of the bunch,we know what the Repugs like to say about Hillary when they are stirring the pot. Hillary will never be done so you can't stick a fork in her.

People are reading way too much into a SNL skit. And not a very good one at that.

Wilco was the main event. They rocked!

Too bad not much else did on the show.

Excellent move, Hillary! There is one place the media gets it right - in a chart in last week's Time magazine where they lay out Clinton and Obama's experience. Disregard the flawed commentary surrounding the chart, but the chart itself speaks the truth. The contrast is glaring. If you're on the fence about these two great candidates, read it and I think you'll know we need a substantive president heading into a difficult time for our country and cannot afford a simple wish-maker. Speaking of wishes, sure wish Clinton would use that chart in an ad...

For the record, Obama has taken plenty of lobbyist money throughout his career. People in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones.

"Though Obama has returned thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from registered federal lobbyists since he declared his candidacy in February, his presidential campaign has maintained ties with lobbyists and lobbying firms to help raise some of the $58.9 million he collected through the first six months of 2007. Obama has raised more than $1.4 million from members of law and consultancy firms led by partners who are lobbyists, The Los Angeles Times reported last week. And The Hill, a Washington newspaper, reported earlier this year that Obama's campaign had reached out to lobbyists' networks to use their contacts to help build his fund-raising base."

Also, the below link to a Houston Press article reveals a young Illinois Obama who is opportunistic, arrogant and a bully. Moreover, he doesn't have the facts to support being a "uniter" that he likes to portray. He was unable to pass any legislation of significance in Illinois until he had a democratic majority after the 2006 election. His whole record was made in one year. Not much there to support "bringing people together." Interesting that we haven't heard much from his Illinois days other his characterization (media bias, perhaps).

FYI, Obama did appear on the show last fall, before the strike shut everything down. The show also had Mike Huckabee on last week for a self-depreciating skit. SNL has anyone on who will appear- they are not showing bias. The Weekend Update last week ("B**ch is the new black") which seemed to support Clinton (or at least support her position of being known by many non-supporters as a female dog)was written by guest host Tina Fey and was hilarious and tone perfect.

And Turgsen, there is a difference between getting airtime on a late night comedy show to make fun of yourself and getting trounced by moderators during national debates. I like Obama, but once this moves into the real fight- Obama vs McCain, all the media coddling and pc scare tactics in the world isn't going to help this guy against the Republicans.

I didn't see the real debate as unfair to Clinton. It takes a bulldog to get her to acknowledge the question being asked--instead of dodging. In fact, Russert asked one question of no one in particular and Hillary jumped to the chance to answer first. SNL should have snuck in this question -- by the way Senator Clinton, the whole nation wants to know, is it Boxers or Briefs??

How about *real* change! Put a woman in the White House. If not now, when? It took about 140 years and ratification of the 19th Amendment (August 18, 1920) to allow women their rightful vote. Sisters unite! Come on Texas and Ohio: Vote Hillary.

Ohio Labor Leaders Call on Senator Obama to Come Clean on NAFTA

Speaking of propagating illusions, can anyone tell me how much Botox "truth-speaker" Billory has had?
I don't see a wrinkle on her 60 year-old face. Must be all that "positive-energy" she emits.

Find us the right woman and we will unite sister. The problem is Danette, that Hillary isn't the one. Sorry. I'm voting for Obama. He's a creative thinker and a strong black man, with good family values. I think Mrs Clinton will continue to do ggod things in the Senate and I wish her all the best. UNITY. OBAMA!

"I live in NY. Hillary Clinton has done little here other than sit around waiting to run for president."

I live in IL. Obama, after winning his senator's seat here, took off across the country on his presidential campaign, and has done little - except to disappoint - those of us who elected him to represent and serve us.

Saturday Night Live is still on TV? I didn't think that show was relevant anymore.

Oh that's right, it's not.

RE: Obama by his own admision is disorganized; thats really an important factor when trying to juggle all the details and facts the President must; couple that with his inflated resume and inflated ego--am I the only person who sees the resemblance to George Bush and that would yield the same results.

Posted by: L.H. Shoen | March 2, 2008 12:49 AM

LOL! Disorganized??? Obama???

His campaign "Organization" has handed Hillary her lunch at every state primary. Which is even more amazing when you know it's largely comprised of Volunteers who may or may not log-in to the Internet Call Center, might or might not show up at the Caucus's and yet have shown up en force at every minor and major Obama event.

The campaign staff has exhibited no dissension, seems to execute crisply & clearly and in the SAME DAY responded with a National Ad campaign to respond to Hillary's 3AM call ad.

You can say whatever you want but the ONE thing that you should probably NOT criticize is his Organization skills.

If Hillary's organizational skills were 1/2 as good, she never would have left the states past Super Tuesday dormant until her losses then, and her "Organization" asleep in bed while Obama's spread out and worked the states.

If THAT's indicative of her organizational skills, no thank you.

What a fun skit! Then when the editorial came on...I was so proud of her and her brown pantsuit!! Rise Hillary Rise!!! Ok, everyone....go get knocking on doors and phone calling...it is Sunday morning...get to church and get everyone fired up to vote for Hillary on Tuesday!! Get to work!! Rise Hillary Rise!

Hillary in another one of her mood swings. Saturday she is smiling. Watch out America. Given her past history of going from pleasant to angry Hillary, by Monday you can expect her to be taking scissors to all of Uncle Sam's Striped Pants and tossing it out on the driveway.

Dear Jack,
Please, please get some new material. I've read this same post in just about every blog and column over the last few weeks. I applaud your vigor but your post is indicative of the same stale approach I turned away from to go with Obama.

It was briefly funny when Jeff Foxworthy released his "You might be a Redneck" album in 1993 but is OLD, OLD now.

Even the Jack Nicholson video where he does the various characters for Hillary is kind of 5 minutes ago, and although entertaining didn't pull at the heartstrings the way Will.i.am's video which gave me goosebumps in an inspiring way.

I'm sorry Jack, I like Hillary, but the Hillary supp
