The Swamp

by Rick Pearson

CASPER, Wyo.—Hillary Clinton bade farewell to Wyoming on Friday night, making a late plea for supporters to attend Saturday caucuses, with the realization that she hasn’t done well in caucus states and isn’t expected to this time around.

So far, of states that have held caucuses over primary elections, Clinton has won only one--Nevada.

“Some people say this is an uphill climb,” she said of the caucusing that will determine how the state’s dozen national convention nominating delegates will be apportioned. But, she said. “I’ve never been a quitter and I never give up and I intend to keep going.”

Keep going, indeed. With a plane flight returning from Wyoming to Washington in the early hours of the morning Saturday, Clinton is expected to take the weekend off before kicking off the long campaign for Pennsylvania on April 22, with visits on Monday and Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, Mississippi holds its Democratic primary, but again, expectations are that Barack Obama will win the state handily.

But with all of that ahead, Clinton still made a request of the crowd at small college in Casper. “Think about where you want our country to be headed. Think about the tough decisions that lie ahead. And go out tomorrow and caucus

Hillary's campaign reminds me more and more of Dubya.

She's way behind in the delegate count and she claims she's the leader.

Dubya won in 2000 by a Supreme Court vote of 5-4 and then claimed he had a mandate.

The similarities are eerie.

But with all of that ahead, Clinton still made a request of the crowd at small college in Casper. “Think about where you want our country to be headed. Think about the tough decisions that lie ahead. And go out tomorrow and caucus for Barack Obama. After all he is clearly a more honorable person, not to mention much better suited to run this mess we call America. With all it's flaws we love it don't we. I mean I should know about flaws right? I mean I'm an
egocentric, megalomaniacal, haggis eating monster with multiple personality disorder.

Call me Sybil. NOW!

George Bush won the 2000 election straight-up. Most recounts show that, Thank God for President Bush because we would probably be in a 7 year recession and after raised taxes and multiple terrorist attacks.

Keep running Hillary. Any GOP folks in states still having dem primaries that can crossover and vote - pulll the lever for Hillary.

Hillary is a FIGHTER, American RIGHT now NEEDS a fighter. Vote with your conscious.

I think it's time for Obama put his ego aside. It will be great if he starts think Clinton-Obama ticket. First it good for Demos, second it's good for himself, and last it's good for American People. It is 46. If he can help Clinton to be a GOOD president, after 8 years, it will be his turn. At that time, he is only 52 with 8 years Washington Politics. He keeps saying he wants different Washington politics. But that's risky for American right now, even he can deliver it. You have to know it before destroy it. If you don't know it, you just simply can not destroy that old system. THAT’S THE RISK AMERICAN SHALL NOT TAKE.
I bet Clinton will make the country back into track in both economy and world image, and we will see bright light again. Then it will be also sure that Obama can follow Clinton to be First African-American President. At the time, HE WILL CERTAINLY HAVE MY VOTE.

I am a Hillary Clinton supporter. This election has made me realize that except for Gore and the Clintons I have never like the democrat canditates. It is the caucus system. If I had to take 2 or 3 hours out to vote and publically announce my choice, I would not vote. Only certain people do that type of thing and that is not democracy in action. I will vote for McCain if Obama wins. So will a lot of other democrats.

I won't vote for someone who got their living residence in a deal with Rezko or one that lies about his intentions to win over young people that don't know any better and then tells the people in Canada something else and on and on.

Terry,

You're a Republican encouraging Democrats to vote for HillBillary.

Whay it's almost as if you have an ulterior motive. I wonder what that could be? It couldn't be that Republicans think they have a better shot at beating HillBillary?

Nah, that couldn't be it.

Terry,

Most recounts don't include hanging chads or the fact that many Jewish voters thought they were voting for Gore but were actually voting for Pat Buchannan.

By his own admission and to his credit, Buchannan admitted that there's no way he would have received as many votes as he did had the ballots been properly printed.

So it's definitely not clear that Bush won "straight up" (which suggests he won "fair and square").

As to what might have happened with a Gore presidency, no one knows. It might have been as you suggest, or we might have figured out how to effectively combat terrorism.

As to who will have the greater impact if elected president, Obama holds that advantage "straight up."

I'm taking a chance that Obama doubters and Clinton supporters will read the following, given the fact that the media brands most of her supporters as under-achievers and under-educated...

LADIES FIRST:

Records of these two candidates should be scrutinized in order to make an informed decision.

Senator Clinton, who has served only one full term - 6 yrs.- and another year campaigning, has managed to author and pass into law - 20 - twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years.
These bills can be found on the web site of the Library of Congress http://www.th omas. loc.gov/, but to save you trouble, I'll post them here for you.
1. Establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site.
2. Support the goals and ideals of Better Hearing and Speech Month.
3. Recognize the Ellis Island Medal of Honor.
4. Name courthouse after Thurgood Marshall.
5. Name courthouse after James L. Watson.
6. Name post office after John A. O'Shea.
7. Designate Aug. 7, 2003, as National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
8. Support the goals and ideals of National Purple Heart Recognition Day.
9. Honor the life and legacy of Alexander Hamilton on the bicentennial of his death.
10. Congratulate the Syracuse Univ. Orange Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
11. Congratulate the Le Moyne College Dolphins Men's Lacrosse Team on winning the championship.
12. Establish the 225th Anniversary of the American Revolution Commemorative Program.
13. Name post office after Sergeant Riayan A. Tejeda.
14. Honor Shirley Chisholm for her service to the nation and express condolences on her death.
15. Honor John J. Downing, Brian Fahey, and Harry Ford, firefighters who lost their lives on duty. Only five of Clinton 's bills are, more substantive. 16. Extend period of unemployment assistance to victims of 9/11.
17. Pay for r city projects in response to 9/11? 18. Assist landmine victims in other countries.
19. Assist family caregivers in accessing affordable respite care.
20. Designate part of the National Forest System in Puerto Rico as protected in the wilderness preservation system.

There you have it, the fact's straight from the Senate Record.

Now, I would post those of Obama's, but the list is too substantive, so I'll mainly categorize. During the first - 8 - eight years of his elected service he sponsored over 820 bills. He introduced
233 regarding healthcare reform,
125 on poverty and public assistance,
112 crime fighting bills,
97 economic bills,
60 human rights and anti-discrimination bills,
21 ethics reform bills,
15 gun control,
6 veterans affairs and many others.

His first year in the U.S. Senate, he authored 152 bills and co-sponsored another 427. These included?**the Coburn-Obama Government Transparency Act of 2006 - became law,?**The Lugar-Obama Nuclear Non-proliferation and Conventional Weapons Threat Reduction Act,- became law,&n bsp; **The Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act, passed the Senate,?**The 2007 Government Ethics Bill,- became law,?**The Protection Against Excessive Executive Compensation Bill, In committee, and many more.

In all, since entering the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096.
An impressive record, for someone who supposedly has no record according to some who would prefer that this comparison not be made public.
He's not just a talker.
He's a doer.

Pass it on....It's impressive

SHE DOES SEEM TO GET MORE DESPERATE AND TO RESEMBLE DUBYA MORE THAN EVER.FOLLOWING THE MARCH 4TH PRIMARIES MSNBC CONVENIENTLY OMITTED OBAMA'S VERMONT VICTORY BUT SAID THAT CLINTON WON IN THE THREE STATES.REMEMBER FOX NEWS PROCLAIMING DUBYA'S PREMATURE VICTORY?

Hillary is tough. Hillary is experienced. Hillary is smart. No contest, America, she is the best candidate. The "monster" comment by Obama staff just shows how politically inexperienced that camp is. Expect WAY more gaffes than that if he is elected!

Not a Quitter? Maybe not, but she is a divisive, scandalous, lying, manipulative, witch.

Hillary Clinton in Casper, Wyoming – what a hoot. Wyoming is right up Hillary's alley. Anyway, Hillary never intimates that she's not a monster; she'll never deny that. Hillary just called Barack Obama's hand and he folded. Barack might have called Hillary's bluff: so Hillary, are you in fact saying that you're not a monster? Monster in this sense: inhumanly cruel or wicked person. Barack chose to lose a staffer instead. Let Hillary gloat and strut, let her deny that she is not in fact an inhumanly cruel or wicked person; let Hillary deny that she’s a monster: http://theseedsof9-11.com

Enough already. This campaign has gone on for two years. The media reports are tired repetition to give reporters something to do. These blogs are typical. Everything that could be said HAS been said. The candidates say the same things over and over. They have the same experience they began with...which is very little. Consign this dumb campaign to the trash heap where it belongs and wake us up Nov. 1.

The election of Hillary would mean 32 years of autocratic "RULE" by only two families (Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton). That is not the "democracy" our founding fathers had in mind. It's more skirting of the constitution (term limits) to put Bill back in power. We had a revolution to get out from under the rule of the English Royal Family. Don't create an American Royal Family.

vote ABC (Anybody But Clinton[s])

what will happen if Obama wins is that the GOP attack squad will demonize to the point where there is enough doubt about him, and they will use his middle name bring up everything else in his past (church, Chicago politics...) Hillary's negatives are already as high as they will go and if say you had a Clinton Obama ticket you deny they Gop the ability to appoint "rightwing consevative activist judges that legislate from the bench in favor of the boardroom against average Americans."tm and also allow the voters a chance to get to know Obama and then in 4 or 8 years he will be the dem candidate with minimal opposition.

Pardon Me-
We do not need another term of secrecy - following 16 years - 8 of the Clintons and 8 of Bush/Cheney.
Can we see the documents about the pardons granted by Mr. and Mrs. Clinton in the last days of their administration - including the pardon of a drug dealer that earned Hillary's brother $200,000

YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)

If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)

Best regards

jacksmith...

Loser yes, quitter no. I think I liked her better as Tracy Flick than Sybil, although both play into the usual stereotypes of women under pressure.

New campaign motto:
It's all down Hill from here.

clinton could care less about wy and ms..before..now clinton is saying she cares about the people their..give me a break..

Go Hill!, how many times has Hillary had to "fire" or "force to resign" someone in her campaign due to negative comments regarding Obama? You'd think having run 2 successful campaigns that the Clintons would be more experienced!!

LadyVoter- Please get more informed.

You haven't been doing your homework- The clinton's won't release their taxes for 7 years- even their filed, the would say who gave money to his library, they pardon Mark Rich and other low lifes who give money to the Rodham brother, etc.
And if you don't know- Naftagate- started with the HRC campaigns telling the Canadian to take her posturing with " a grain a salt"-

End of the day the Americans will not vote for a man whose religion is still in question and to a person who says one thing while the advisers say another to foreign governments

Mako: If there was anything illegal in the Clinton's tax's I'm sure we would know. And I'm sure the justice Dept. would pursue any conflict of interest pertaining to clemency. This being said, whats that make you?

LadyVoter, it turns out that Hillary Clinton was the candidate who reassured the Canadian government that all her anti-NAFTA talk was just rhetoric.

If you don't believe me, read yesterday's Financial Times.

"Reporters at CTV, a Canadian television network, said a top Canadian official had told them in a casual conversation last week that Ms Clinton's campaign had assured the Canadians that her promise to renegotiate Nafta should be taken "with a grain of salt"

http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/a8dca74e-ebe7-11dc-9493-0000779fd2ac.html

Clinton, not Obama, is the candidate who is all talk and no action. Remember her shady past, too. Whitewater, Travelgate, Nannygate, etc. Rezko is nothing compare to Norman Hsu, one of Clinton's top fundraisers.

You Might Be An Idiot!

If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..

Further proof that you are an IDIOT jacksmith! Vote for the trigger happy old geezer or that broom riding scumbag if you want, because you are an idiot, and a moron!

No Hillary won't quit because she is too selfish and self centered to do the right thing for America.

Her 2006 and 2007 tax returns won't be released because the Clintons probably know they will cause too much controversy. What are they hiding? What are they hiding by not releasing Hillary's papers from Bill Clinton's presidency? What are the Clintons hiding by not releasing the contributors names and amounts to the Bill Clinton library?

I've always believed that if you weren't a quitter that you must be a sucker of some sort. However, I'm glad Hillary hasn't quit. Although I wouldn't blame her, considering all the cheap unproven insinuations and accusations thrown out by CNN and Fox to name a few. And the by product of their propaganda being the lower mental capacity of our population hating the Clinton's and not remembering or knowing why. This is not the democratic process and this election is a total shame. Lets not be bamboozled again, vote for proven leadership with an Ace in the hole .Vote Hillary!!!!!

I wish we would all stop praising a young manthat none of us knew til his appearance in this campaign and he does remind me of Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy and thats not new I do feel we still don't know him till he stops stealing other greater men's identity and refects himselfno one will ever replace these 2 men..Now lets get on the issues as to who not what a female or an african American is better qualified through experience. Hilary is not responsible for any of the mistakes her husband made during 'his Presidency' not hers. And don't you think some desperate things have come out one camp more than the other put all this foolishness aside and lets vote for a true president based on their best for the job
mary

“Some people say this is an uphill climb,” she said of the caucusing that will determine how the state’s dozen national convention nominating delegates will be apportioned. But, she said. “I’ve never been a quitter and I never give up and I intend to keep going.”

Much to the chagrin of American voters.

Please little fighter, continue to sling mud and make a mockery of the democratic proccess. Why should being honorable get in the way of your massive ego.

Dear LadyVoter,

In case you have forgotten re HRC's past: Travelgate, Filegate, Pardongate, Troopergate, Whitewater, Cattle Futures, Ponzi schemer Norman Hsu, Chinese dishwashers Gennifer Flowers, Zoë Baird, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Impeachment to name a few. Death of Vince Foster?

Hillary may never be a quitter; but unfortunately it would be better if she would never run a sleazy, dishonest campaign. Is it too much to ask her to play by the rules? Hopefully she and Bill will soon just go away.

TO: KPO'M,

I suggest you check your facts. The canadian government confirmed that NO ONE from the hillary campaign contacted them and that the only contact was the meeting with the Obama camp. CHECK YOUR FACTS!!!

Think about all the negative stuff Clinton has engaged herself in! What type of a president is she going to be? She doesnt want to release her tax returns, what example does she give the world? Obama has given American people a very good picture of a real president. He is talented. Lets not talk about experience please because even George bush had it as far as his family is concerned;then how did he blow it up? Experience, experience! Are we not going to get employed because we dont have experience. Then when shall we achieve it? Do we have specific jobs and offices for inexperienced people? Whats going on with clinton family? All they know is SHAME ON YOU; Bill threw it out to a reporter in South Carolina. I just dont like their temper. And I dont know how they have lived together for all this time since LIKE POLES REPEL! Frustrations are just driving this aged, wrinkled, empty headed oldie mad. She has jumpt on to an Obama/clinton ticket! All she wants is to rule.greedy old woman! When the phone rings at 3am,its Bill Clinton apologising why he could not come home the previous night because he got a puncture. To hell with all your lies clinton. Remember Obama said that the world is watching you America. You are nothing but just make up to hide your deadly lines, Sweet talk to hide your weak leadership. There is nothing good in you.JUST DIVISION.

Anyone who gets on here and calls Hillary a divisive liar has some nerve after all the stuff coming out from the Obama campaign in the last week.It is Hillary's time. She is the brightest most prepared candidate. The "divisive" rap has been cultivated by the likes of limbaugh for over a decade now. She is the one whose history truly shows that she is for all Americans.

I hope that the Democrats can tell who is writing anti-Hillary stuff in this blog by their tone - no true Democrat would demean another Democrat in that way. Hillary will win because the American people are behind her and want her to be our nominee so all Republicans trying to divide the party - you need to take care your business and leave us to ours.

Bob Dole,

I am educated and I am not an underachiever, and I support Hillary.

one advice for you, if you are clear headed as you think yourself is, then evaluate Hillary and Obama with the same critical eyes, and list their achievments in the same manner, and I can assure you the picture will be very different from you have been fantasizing.
In case you did not learn it from your Sunday school, there is only one Messiah in this world, and his name is Jesus. Obama is just a politician.

Obamaites are champion name-callers of all times, just read some of the blog entries here. No wonder Obama has Samantha on his team.
The obsession with Hillary's tax returns reek of the whitewater witch hunt which yielded zip. Once bitten twice shy. I don't blame Hillary for being reluctant --by the way John McCain hasn't released his either.

I don't see how anyone can trust a candidate whom has run a campaign like Hillary's. The Clinton campaign reeks of dishonesty; big boss, back-room politics; and character-destruction. I don't want a president whom condones that sort of behavior. I don't want somebody who will do anything to win, including trying to change the rules of the game to benefit herself.

Hillary will win because she is sooo vetted. She is the only one who can run this country - and then Chelsea in 2016. Then Jenna Bush in 2024. We don't need to even have elections anymore. Just pass the Presidency between 2 families. Maybe Billy Bush in 2032. Too bad our jobs are overseas and our borders are non-existent. This is too important to make any type of change. I loved the 1990s. Bill is cool. He plays the saxaphone with sunglasses on. He cheated on his wife - and got away with it. How cool is that. I totally relate to the Clintons, with the exception that I can't loan $5 million to anybody - especially myself, but I can tell that Hillary totally cares about me. Yeah!

The only reason Hillary wants to be on a ticket with Obama is because she knows she can't win without him. After the way she's treated him, I'd wager a lot of his supporters will vote for someone else if she gets the nomination.

It's not a dream ticket; it's a manipulative ticket. She'll do anything to win. I will not vote for any ticket that includes Hillary.

I agree with Karl, let's keep the dynasty going. Maybe they'll toss a breadcrumb.

Debate on the eve of ASC Primary...
BO says "I have no association with Rezko", "maybe I saw his name while I was working for a law firm and had 6 billable hours of work that may have mentioned his name"
February 20, 2008, David Axelrod for BO in a written statemnt to the Chicago Tribune (no questions allowed) BO is giving back hundreds and thousands of dollars from the 'allegedly crooked' financier Aintoine Rezko. BO is amending his statement and admits now that they are friends, dine together with Michele and Aintoines wife, purchased real estate together on the same day which benefitted BO to the tune of 800,000. BO already commented that it may be 'boneheaded'. HELLO..Liar-Liar-Pants on fire!

http://www.houstonpress.com/2008-02-28/news/barack-obama-screamed-at-me/1

Read this for some facts about BO's term as an Illinois Legislature. It is written by Mark Spivak, Houstonpress.com
It chronicles BO's rise to notice.

Why is it ok to be called a B.... on SNL but being called a monster is the worse thing someone should called another? Hillary needs to stop playing dirty due to the fact that she has so much dirt to be dug up!!!

Don't forget the garden of eden.Women started all the miss.Do you want it to continue???

HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON is the right president for America.

VOTE - "MY AMERICAN MAMA" -
HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON -
PRESIDENT - PRESIDENT!!!

YOU GO GIRL!!!!
YOU GO GIRL!!!!
YOU GO GIRL!!!!

Barack Obama has the strength and moral fortitude to grow with America into a new era. Clinton has nothing but the same old tired politics we have lived with for far too long. She is the Rovian antithesis - opposite in parallel...the yin to the yang of the dark machine. I will vote against the democratic party for the first time in 20 years if she steals the nomination. I have voted for her family 3 times and finally saw the light when she chose the 'politically expedient' choice of voting us into Iraq. I've simply had enough. - Enough.

Obama has nothing.

His Iraq speech - he wont do what he promised, according to Samantha Powers who was fired after exposing the truth.

NAFTA - he tells one thing to you, another to the Canadians.

His speeches - recycled speeches from DeVal Patrick.

"Yes we can" - stolen from Dolores Huerta (after they dragged her in the mud in NV)

Stop the Drama, Stop Obama!

The Clinton argument:

"Let us steal it fair and square."

Even if Senator Clinton had a 60 page CV the fact of the matter is that she is a divisive, nasty candidate who relies on fear tactics, lies and deception to get elected. Shame on her for running such an abject campaign. She makes me ashamed of being a woman.

...yet she's always been a loser.

Yes, she's a fighter. She'll throw mud at anybody. Probably why she is so reviled.

She can't even manage her campaign, raising over $100 million and then blowing it all on donuts and poor ads.

I would really like a Democrat to win this time. I voted Obama.

Bob Dole,

Your posting was a real hoot!
You tell us that Hillary "has managed to author and pass into law - 20 - twenty pieces of legislation in her first six years".
Then you go on to tell us that Barak, in his first 8 years of elected office (IL Senate), sponsored 820 bills.
You try to impress us by saying "In all, since entering the U.S. Senate, Senator Obama has written 890 bills and co-sponsored another 1096." .
Don't you realize that there is a huge difference between 'passing' bills and 'cosponsoring' bills?
Please try to give us a legitimate comparison between their relative effectiveness (unless you want to continue the same 'smoke and mirrors' campaign that Obama has been running). Hopefully you will realize that there is no 'there' there.
After reading about all the 'cosponsoring' that Barak has done, I laughed out loud when I read your comment concerning Barak ...
"He's not just a talker.
He's a doer."
Don't you realize that 'cosponsoring' is talking and that 'passing' is doing.!!

For a real eye-opener about Barak, read Carol Marin's writeup about Barak ducking tough questions in a recent press conference.http://www.suntimes.com/news/marin/356207,CST-EDT-carol25.article

Sorry Tribune

Donnajo:
You must be living in a fantasy world. Hillary demeans Barack by saying that only she and McCain have credentials to be Commander-in-Chief and that all Barack has is a speech. You talk about eating your own. You are naive to believe that long time Democrats like me can't see thru all the Clinton slime. I assume you are proud that it is quite evident that the Clinton machine had assured reps in Canada not to get worried about NAFTA and then attacked Obama for supposedly doing that.
Do you know it appears that Obama will win Texas by three delegates and Clinton's big second Tuesday win will net 7 delegates. Obama is winning big today in Wyoming and after Mississippi will more than overtake those 7 delegates numbers.
It is time for the super delegates to close her out for the good of the party.

Doug Union Boy Zook,

Politics is a dirty business. I think McCain will beat either, but I want this circus (dem primary) to on as long as possible.

Bud,

Whose fault is it that voters can't figure out a ballot? (what does being Jewish have to do with it? Is that a racist remark?) Also, if someone can't push a chad completely thru - whose fault? Finnally, there was the under count of the military vote and the release of the "Gore win" by the media before the central time zone preciincts had closed.

Caucuses are becoming a joke.

Only 7000 voters showed up to Wyomings caucus and it "owerwhelmed" them.

Imagine picking a weak candidate based on this system.

Its a joke.

hhkeller:
Are you a Clinton supporter? You sure aren't very bright. The 7000 is the number used for picking the number of delegates that goes to the stae convention for picking delegates for the national convention. From Laramie 54 delegates were selected from 1544 voters. If that is the ratio used statewide that would be about 210,000 voters. Obama would have big coattails throughout the country for Democratic candidates to ride whereas Clinton would just hurt the chances of such candidates.

RETURN OF THE MONSTER MASHER? ...

mash*er (mshr)
n.
1. A kitchen utensil for mashing vegetables or fruit.
2. Slang A man who attempts to force his attentions on a woman

You can also get a paperback version of the book "No One Left To Lie to"--about
the Clinton White House--by British-American writer and human rights activist Christopher Hitchens.

See his chapter on "Is There a Rapist in the Oval Office?"

Recently Hitchens reminded (http://www.slate.com/id/2182065) that the essay "has never been challenged by anybody in the fabled Clinton 'rapid response' team.

"Yet one constantly reads that both Clintons, including the female who helped intensify the slanders against her mistreated sisters, are excellent on women's 'issues.'"

Hillary says she is not a quitter? Ha - what a joke. When her husband was cheating on her in public she quit fighting for her own dignity. She did not divorce the bum. Can you imagine having such a gutless puke as president? Not me.

HRC doesn't sound or look anything like GWB. She's a fighter and I say FIGHT ON!

BO sounds good, but I'm not sure he has what it takes to be the president of the United States.

I've given it a great deal of thought and researched both candidates. HRC is my choice!

I'm a woman and a Republican, but I will vote for Obama over McCain. I am not alone with these feelings. Many people I've spoken with, feel the same way. If Hillary wins the Democratic ticket - I'll go with McCain. We don't need the same old dirty politics of the Clinton machine. We need someone that is honorable. McCain would be the lesser of the 2 evils.

Hillary says "I've never been a quitter".

I say, "Hillary, YOU SHOULD BE". Get out while the Democratic Party still has a chance of winning the election in November.

Get a little class for once in your life and don't destroy your party in the name of your never-ending, all-consuming POWER-LUST.

Someone here really inflated Obama's record and made light of Hillary Clinton's. Obama had no record of accomplishment until his last year in the Illinois Senate when Emil Jones decided to fluff up Obama's resume and put his name on a long list of bills as the sponsor, bills he had never heard of nor worked on. How can you respect someone who takes credit for another person's ideas and long hours of work? Stealing another's speeches is bad enough, but to claim credit for another legislator's work is dishonest and disgraceful. Read about it: http://houstonpress.com/2008-02-28/news/barack-obama-screamed-at-me/1

Email Misrepresents Hillary's Legislative Record

2/13/2008 5:41:09 PM

There is an email circulating that grossly misrepresents Hillary's legislative record, as well as the record of Sen. Obama. (Various versions appear on the Obama campaign website here, here, and here.)

The email only gives Hillary credit for bills where she was the original sponsor and have also been signed into law. Here are the facts. In her time in the Senate, Hillary has sponsored 21 bills that have become law including:

— a bill that extended the availability of unemployment assistance.

— a bill which established a program to assist family caregivers.

— a bill that provided benefits to public safety officers who were killed or injured during the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

But Hillary's accomplishments in the Senate are not limited to bill sponsorships. Among her many other legislative accomplishments:

— Hillary worked with Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to expand access to health care for the National Guard and Reserve.

— Hillary passed an amendment that created a national program for teacher and principal training and recruitment.

— Hillary used Senate rules to force the Bush administration to make emergency contraception, also known as Plan B, available over the counter.

Meanwhile, the email gives Sen. Obama credit for every bill he introduced or signed on as a co-sponsor, whether or not they became law. The reality is, since Sen. Obama joined the Senate (applying the same standard the email applies to Hillary) he has sponsored two bills that have become law:

— a bill that sought to promote democracy in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
— a bill that named a post office.

Now, who really has the most impressive record?

Someone here really inflated Obama's record and made light of Hillary Clinton's. Obama had no record of accomplishment until his last year in the Illinois Senate when Emil Jones decided to fluff up Obama's resume and put his name on a long list of bills as the sponsor, bills he had never heard of nor worked on. How can you respect someone who takes credit for another person's ideas and long hours of work? Stealing another's speeches is bad enough, but to claim credit for another legislator's work is dishonest and disgraceful. Hillary failed to move forward her healthcare initiative. She claims to have foreign policy experience, but it turns out she had nothing to do with peace in Northern Ireland (according to George Mitchell, the dude that made it happen) and Macedonia was free _before_ she got there. Bill squandered a mountain of political capital on an inappropriate affair.

McCain called Pat Robertson an "agent of intolerance" but then went to Liberty University to kiss his ring (and kiss the religious right's ass). His last foreign policy initiative was to jokingly sing about "bombing Iran" but then he tried to slam Obama for suggesting he'd use our military might & intelligence to pursue Bin Laden in Pakistan, something the Bush administration has failed to do.

I don't even think you need to like Obama or think he's qualified to know that he's still the most honest and qualified guy in the race.

In response to Donnajp assertion that all those who object to Hillary are Republicans.

I am a committed Democrat and I dislike Hillary Clinton almost as much as I dislike the republican nominee. She is dirty, dirty, dirty and the only dirt on Obama comes from having to stand beside her in debates.

obama supporters are easy to wash their brains mostly blacks and others who don't know what to do with their lives, there is a fact that all big states where people know better the america's reality belongs to HILLARY, with all respect I know obama supportes will find hard to think this fact.

Regarding the Wyoming caucus: Doesn't it seem like something is lacking when a state with a population of 522,830 as of the 2007 census shows up with less than 10,000 of the people voting in the caucus? Somehow I get the idea that caucuses do not include all the people that should have the right and opportunity to vote. When will this country do away with the caucuses. Better yet lets do away with the delegates and go for the popular vote.

Peggy McGilligan, so if she does deny that she is a monster, you will say she doth protest too much. Either way YOU lose when she takes office in January of 2009. Go home if you do have a home to go to and get off the streets. I think you know what that means.

HILLARY, QUIT BEFORE "IT" HITS THE FAN. Truth time! Hillary claims she was “co-President” in Bill’s two terms in the W/H. “They” are after a third term. RED FLAG: Bill has too many ties to other nations for his “charities”, why isn’t it ruled a conflict of interest? Don’t non-profit organizations need to provide yearly returns with donors, donation amounts, payments, payees and amounts? RED FLAG: The charitable “donations” from foreign countries, but no disclosure, NOT GOOD. Triple Red flags for those ventures. Hillary often demonstrates her self-centered arrogance that “rules” only apply if she benefits. She proved while in the W/H how deadly she could be with “revenge” as her weapon. She has no soul, and tries to crush any opposition using any available means. Will the Clintons provide complete documentation of her years in the W/H? Will a lie detector test be required to guarantee that no documents were removed? RED FLAGs: Sandy Berger had unrestricted access to highly classified terrorism documents at the National Archives. Their failure to follow extremely strict security guidelines was a bonus for Berger. He was eventually accused of stealing documents, but claimed that he borrowed a few copies to study, which he later returned. At his trial, the DOJ let Berger off on a misdemeanor charge and surrender of his license. He didn’t even submit to a lie detector test. RED FLAG, RED FLAG: It was later learned that the top- secret original NSC documentation, with hand-written notes (no inventory, no copies existed) covering the Clinton Administration handling of the terrorism threats were “MISSING” from the National Archives. The entire 9/11 Commission report was a waste of time and money, due to incomplete data. RED FLAGS: We will never know the full truth about how 9/11 COULD HAVE/SHOULD HAVE been prevented. Guess whom Hillary has picked to be on her National Security Team? Give that man a cigar! It’s Sandy Berger.

Hillary says she has never been a quitter. What do you call sombody that waves the white flag in a war and withdraws the military force?
