Mark, Frank, it's high time a swamp post asked about the possibilities an open convention for the democrats opens up.
It's impossible, now, that either Obama or Hillary will clinch the nomination without superdelegates.
What about Al Gore? He's been waiting below the fray and accepting awards for his climate change work and when neither of the two sides can win on a first ballot he looks like a VERY attractive choice for the superdelegates. Let's have a post that shows how the two-person race will open the field up to other candidates at the convention.
