Hagee: NOLA punished for 'sinful conduct'

(McCain has said that he does not agree with everything Hagee stands for, but hasn't renounced his endorsement.)

I just wanted to post this for Jeff who will have you believe differently.

Why isn't the media asking McCain more questions about Hagee, Paisley, Robertson, etc?? He gladly accepts this bigot's endorsement!!! Yet Obama is the one who is being castigated for his own minister, whose remarks he has repudiated.

I guess Dan Abrams' description of McCain as "Teflon John" is very accurate.

Hagee - speaking for God - stating what and why God thinks and acts. Amazing. Has he not read that God is no respecter of persons? This is not only presumptuous but dangerous. McCain will not repudiate Hagee any more than he will repudiate and denounce the ad in NC to the extent that state party folks cease and desist. And, if it's true that John has respect and following within his ranks, then why wouldn't the NC GOP chair do what's right? Because it's all for show. McCain appears to be offended and he gets free play of the Wright tapes and NC gets to attack and profit from the ad with attention-getting attacks on patriotism and nefarious alliances of Dem candidates. Absolutely essential Dirty Politics 101.

What has the response been by the GOP politicians to this man, John Hagee? As you would expect, it's been very warm and embracing.

If Hagee endorses McCain in an effort to sway the conservative public following that Hagee has to vote republican so be it.
