The Swamp

by Frank James

The Swamp has been honored with a nomination for a prestigious Webby Award. We thank all those who see our politics and policy blog as worthy of this, the Internet community's highest honor, and promise to do our best to remain deserving of such a selection.

Each Webby nominee is actually eligible for two Webbys. One is based on the votes of the 550 members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences. The other, the Webby People's Voice is awarded based on the votes of the on-line community.

So we're doing what any smart politician will tell you is essential in closing the deal with voters: we're asking for your vote.

We're hoping fans of The Swamp will cast their votes for us by May 1, 2008, the deadline. Go to the Webby People's Voice site, register, and then look for us in the blog-political category.

Thanks, again, to all our friends. Onward and upward.
