INDIANAPOLIS -- Pennsylvania for Clinton. North Carolina for Obama. And Indiana as the tie-breaker?
That was the prediction Sen. Barack Obama made today in his long-running contest with Sen. Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
"I think Indiana is very important," he said. "We've got three contests coming up in pretty big states – Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Indiana. They all have significant numbers of delegates and they're all states where Sen. Clinton and I are actively campaigning.
"Sen. Clinton, I think, is more favored in Pennsylvania and I'm, right now, a little bit more favored in North Carolina, so Indiana may end up being the tie-breaker,'' he said. "So we want to work very hard in Indiana. Sen. Clinton has some advantages here. I benefit, partly, from coming from an adjoining state. The issues I see across Indiana are very familiar to me because they're not that different from a lot of the issues in central and Downstate Illinois.
"You've got an awful lot of communities that were reliant on manufacturing. With manufacturing's decline, a lot of jobs get shipped overseas. You've got an awful lot of people and a lot of towns all across the state that are struggling. This is why in all my discussions with workers and businesses here in Indiana, my focus has been on investing in infrastructure, investing in clean energy, investing in those areas that can strengthen our core economy and then making sure that we're also investing in the people of Indiana, who are hard-working, who are committed to turning the economy around, but some of whom have to obtain the skills that are going to allow them to compete in the 21st century economy.
"And that, I think, is the central question for not just Indiana, but the country. That way Indiana is representative of what's going on throughout the country. You've got a terrific base of workers and business experience, but we're in a global economy and Washington has not done enough to make sure that Indiana and other key states, particularly in the Midwest, are making that transition into the 21st century economy. That's what I want to do as president of the United States."

BULL YOU KNOW WHAT.
If Hilary were to NOT win PA, she was supposed to put a fork in it, remember? That was the compromise given this great stateswoman after the Old white faht Leahy declared her out of the race. "Well, let her see how she does in PA.
Now that the fake silver spoooned Obama is going to get his butt kicked despite outspending her 3 to 1 on misleading ads to feed the corporate media machine--well, let's let him have a do-over with Indiana.
His other 'do-overs'?
*Running (literally) from the chicago media over Rezko (once from Carol Marin, a second time in TX 'C'mon 'guys' I answered 8 questions."; and a third time when he sat down with media reps and refused to answer questions from Carol Marin, instead insisting on speech-ifying.)
*Doing a speech and not a news conference over his racist minister. (No, Obama it doesn't matter to me what a millionaire minister experienced in childhood. Get over it. Yes. I said it. Get over it.)
If you think the Republicans aren't going to throw up the unstatesmanlike uttering in your behalf which you do not denounce specifically (calling McCain a coward for being a bomber pilot, or a war-monger) you will single handedly bring down Democratic party chances to retake the white house.
And Congress.
And we will blame you and your greedy wife, sir (borrowing from keith olbermann there--is he on the payroll like all the bloggers which will now attack me?).

Obama’s pastor J. Wright's speeches sound a LOT like Nation of Islam, L. Farrakhan.....both hate America, Jews and whites.
Obama has surrounded himself with his Afrocentric wife and pastor, with Farrahkan, with slumlord Rezko and with domestic terrorist William Ayers.
Obama shows POOR JUDGMENT in the people he associates with.
This is the same Obama who threw white his grandma under the bus with his speech/comments about her, after she took care of him when he was living with her in Hawaii.
A president must show GOOD judgment, as Obama himself says.
What other surprises are hidden in his closet ??

MJB, what is your lame excuse as to why HRC is still in the race after loosing TX? Wasn't it said that she needs to win both TX and OH to be viable? She lost....that makes her a looser.
