Craig Robinson, brother-in-law of Barack Obama, is moving on from a successful run as head basketball coach at Brown University to the top roundball job at Oregon State University.

In migrating from Bears to Beavers, Robinson is moving from the Ivy League to the more athletically challenging PAC-10.

But he's left behind a satisfied athletic department in Providence, judging from Brown's send-off press release.

Robinson was 30-28 in two seasons at Brown, the first coach in school history to win 30 games.

The Corvallis-based Beavers are a work in progress, having finished this season 6-25.

Here's the OSU announcement.

Robinson may be seeing a fair amount of his brother-in-law and sister Michelle in the next few weeks -- the Oregon primary is slated for May 20.

And here I thought you guys aren't serious journalists. Boy do i feel foolish now!

And this is news because???? Do you want to run a story about where my brother-in-law works?

Sounds like good timing for the Oregon Primary to me.
