Obama camp: Finger-language 'absurd'

Ben LaBolt of the Obama campaign also defended Obama when he said that people here in small town PA only cling to their guns or their religion because of economics.
Nem :aBolt has no credibility, and neither does the guy he works for: Barack "Please Don't Vet Me" Obama.

And Ben, this isn't the first time Obama has used his middle finger to "scratch" and then pause when he is speaking about Hillary Clinton.

Nice try, Ben. Look at the reaction by some in the crowd and by Obama himself when he does this finger gesture. Clearly, he knew what he did and I believe it was an intentional act of desperation on BO's part. I liken it to, WHEN WORDS FAIL...use the ginger moment. Sure have been a lot of those "moments' for BO lately.

Obama should see a doctor pronot. It appears Obama has foot-in-mouth disease.

Methinks Obama doth protest too much. Rachel Maddow hit it on the head when she described how the media takes things and makes a caricature of them. This is a prime example. But, the adolescents really eat it up, right Jack?

As a Hillary supporter, I am tired of his "gotcha" whinning. This is coming from a candidate that had he been vetted properly by the media, and not proptected by the media, would have been OUT OF THIS RACE before it even got started! And Clinton would BE the nominee. And he did not need to criticize Hillary too much, even though he has, because while they were protecting HIM, they were trashing her. I guess his "money talks" in the form of advertising dollars that he has made, in the millions, for the main stream media. He better sit and pray with his mentor Wright daily and thank God that this played out as it has. But Clinton is still the best candidate, the candidate with real solutions, the candidate that wins the big states and the swing states, and there is a reason! All Democrats are not buying his rhetoric. Actions speak much louder than words.

To borrow a phrase from an earlier debate, this really is the political "silly season." Hillary's supporters may have reasons to flip out (the polls must be raising their stress levels), but getting the bird from Obama isn't one of them.

The intimidation of media by Camp Obama must stop.
It is OBVIOUS from the smirking other behavior which followed that Camp Obama is NOT being truthful about what the candidate meant when he DID use a common method of giving someone the bird without doing so.
That's exactly what he did. Headlines have been too kind to him--they indicate he was flipping off the media. Play back the video. It's clear he was signaling to Hilary.
Blaming the media or intimidating critics is NOT the way to silence critics. Most of us would gladly, publicly go to jail and shame the messiah.
Camp Obama is using McCarthyite tactics in saying that people are 'lying' or 'slandering' people who are public figures by the very nature of their involvement with politics.

Enough of this Obama modern day lynching already! Goodness gracious, we all have seen Obama do this time and time again. He recently did it while criticizing John McCain about his economic speech. Either he touches or scratches the tip of his nose (gee, maybe he's calling on Tinker Bell!) or I've seen him (lightly) scratching the side of his face. But this is remarkable, I said the other day watch, they will jump all over him if he doesn't pee straight and so here it is!

After seeing Obama give Hillary "the finger", I won't vote for him if he is the nominee. He has no class.

Obama didn't give Clinton the finger, that's just another bit of fiction from the reality challenged Clinton cheerleading squad...but if he did give her the finger, I say more power to him. I would gladly flip the bird to that lying, Republican wannabe Clinton, she deserves it for trying to destroy the Party in a year that the Republicans have no business being anywhere near the White House and all because she herself thinks it's her god given right to sit on the Democratic throne this year.

He definitely is giving the Hillary the finger in a subtle way. How many people scratch their face with only their middle finger? He thinks this is cute. I am a Hillary supporter and am so appalled by the things going on in this campaign that there is no way I would vote for Obama IF he becomes the nominee, which hopefully he won't.

I don't see what the big deal is. I give Hillary the finger every time I see her on tv.

Of course he added some extra scratching, that way he knew if called out on it they could use this to claim the accusations false. Even the audience knew what he was doing, it fell in place right along with the other hand gestures he made(knife stabbing,shoulder and leg dusting)he knew it and his audience knew it. He's not stupid, just arrogant and in this case immature too.

Obama has run his campaign on the theme that he's the "Candidate for Change", what change? Is this an example of that Change? Doesn't look like much of a Change to me. He likes to throw out those lovely words Hope and Change. I think it's clear that the only "hope" he has is to "change" his address to the White House.

Oh good grief, Obama wasn't giving Hillary the finger. And if that's your qualification for who shouldn't be president, how do you explain this?

It is almost laughable, that anyone would accuse Senator Obama of flipping any body, anything, let alone, a finger. Desperate times calls for desperate strategies!!!

It's a gesture I use and a lot of other people use.
The other gestures, the lead in, the comments about Hilary--he did it.
Twice in one day. At the same point in the speech (with gestures).
(And I'd love it if someone could post the gestures that someone did to top his in the audience that cracked him up. Must be the mainstream media's waiting for him to be top of the ticket to play that and get John McCain in.)
This is similar to the other people he's flipped off since the start of the campaign:
1. The DNC--not telling us about all the skeletons in the Hyde Park Rezko closet
2. The Chicago news media reporters (the owners love him for all that money--but must be hard to look yourself in the face after kissing that much *** daily) when he only answered 8 questions.
3. Grandma who raised him--thrown under the bus to defend an indefensibly racist wealthy minister who's building a house on a golf course (in I think a gated community?)
4. Hilary--constantly gender bashing her and trying to activate the basist instincts.
5. The news media that won't profit from the 29 new nukes OBAMA VOTE FOR IN CHENEY'S 2005 ENERGY BILL.
And he's Dick ("Go **** yourself) Cheney's relative.
I'm not surprised.
Wait til the press tries getting questions answered later in the campaign or during his presidency--if he makes it.

MSNBC edited the ORDER Of the video---he did not do the knife gesture first --he did the flip off gesture first (or maybe he reversed order later in the day--as he did do it twice).
Remember why MSNBC would be in the bag for Mr. Dick Cheney's cousin? Obama voted for the 2005 'energy' bill---and GE doesn't bring good things to light, folks.

He mentioned her name, flipped her off, then went on to explain the 'knife' move (only I think he is gesturing for the intercourse meaning, not the knife move as his audio states.)

"29 new nukes" is exactly right. It's outrageous how MSNBC manipulated that piece of video, put it out of order so it made no sense. It's TOTALLY biased, unbelievably so, how do they think they can get away with it?

The crowd got it alright. He was laughing about it. This is absolutely repugnant! If the DNC allows this creep to get the nomination, they are through!

Dick Cheney's Cousin, you make some excellent points! I too think it was a deliberate gesture. Too bad it's not getting traction in the media. Obama needs to be exposed for the immature person he is. I would be terrified to have someone like that in the White House.
