Obama: 'Underdog' still, from Iowa to Pa.

He is the underdog in Pennsylvania... not too long ago he was 20 points behind Clinton. It is hard to believe, but there are people in Pennsylvania that don't even know that there is this guy named Obama running for President of the United States "by golly."

Obama is the underdog all the way to the finish line. The Clinton Machine keeps on rolling and will use anything in its quiver to strike out at Obama.

There is nothing scarier than a frantic, desperate HRC. That is one person and one family that you don't take for granted.

Obama must fight his best fight all the way to the Presidential nomination in November and we must do all we can to support him.

I think at this point in time we all have our candidate and we are dug in. I too heard Rush Limbaugh tell his audience yesterday that the Dems are in serious trouble. I heard that Obama is actually going to call for a final debate tomorrow that will be held before the North Carolina/Indiana Primary. I heard he is going to call it the REAL DEAL IN CHAPEL HILL and that he will not take umbrage to any personal questions, as long as for every personal question, they in turn ask a policy question.

I heard he is even going to hand a fig leaf to Sen. Clinton and say she doesn't have to answer any personal questions and only join in on the policy questions. It sounds like a real Rocky Moment if it is true.

I support obama. The math is strongly against Hillary. I used to think let her stay in until the last primary but these primaries are sucking up a lot of money and the ammunition for McCain keeps piling up. I would much rather him be vetted by a republican he can fight with out pulling punches rather than another democrat. I think I saw McCain on Hillary's buddy list. At this point the only way she can win is by some political magic trick, not because she has the support of the people. PA will be won by only 5 or less % and close does counts in horse shoes hand grenades and democratic primaries. A win is a win? Apparently somebody didn't tell these people that the delegates are split proportionately? Even if she won every contest left she has to win by a margin she only got in one state - Arkansas. And this argument that she can carry the big states? That's a joke. The real issue is style. They agree 90% of the time.

If Hil-liar-y is so electable why are Bill's staff members supporting Obama? HRC needs to pack her bags and head for the hills, maybe she'll be supported by the wild life where she is in her own element.

As a white 72 year old woman, I have been for Obama since I read his books. The venomous rhetoric attacking him certainly gives credence to "the same old politics". I long for the day when we as a nation really want to unite for the benefit of all.

I am an Independent. BOTH parties have sold out the AMERICAN CITIZEN and now represent big business. I will be voting "None of the above" in November.

Having said that, why does ANYONE think that Hills can win when she already lost months ago? It is mathematically impossible for her to win the popular vote. Therefore, the only way is for the super delegates to ignore the people and elect her.

He's is no longer an underdog. His name is recognized nationally and internationally. He leads in all things needed to clinch the primary. He has a lot of money to spend-apparently. He's backed by many people. Over the last two days I have put 5 comments on the Swamp about this and none have shown up on the blog.

James John, how can you talk about Hillary's lies, whe Obama lied about knowing about his ministers hate speaches in the church that he attended for 20 years. How can you degrade Hillary's character when Obama showed his ill breeding, gutter personality, back street persona, by flipping the bird to Hillary in his speech and then using hand gestures that mean even more distasteful sexual implications. Oh Yes, he is really what is needed to run this country, NOT! If you havn't seen it check out youtube Obama flip out Hillary, and if you still want him for president, you are definately more stupied than anyone deserves to be.

HILLARY CLINTON should be praised by every true, red-blooded American as the Saviour of the Republic! obama is an incompetent babbaling baffoon, anti-Christ, Osama bin Laden wanna-be who will ruin the chances of the Democratic Party to win in November because of his own selfish ambitions. He can not now ever win because he has been exposed as the MANCHURIAN Candidate agent of extremist Islamic fascist interests to destroy Israel AND America. obama needs to do the honorable thing and get out of the race now and leave the Democratic nomination to a true American patriot with our values. HILLARY CLINTON is the only person who can defeat the evils of McCainism in November. We need a Democrat version of Margaret Thatcher and Golda Mayer. obama will set this country back 10 generations! Only HILLARY can lead us into the future and defeat the vast right wing republicans. HILLARY ROCKS.... YOU GO GIRL!!!! Just watch the videos. He did it twice, in the same day, at two separate events. He made the gesture at the same point in his speeches - the crowd understood what he meant. Actions speak louder than words. This man is not fit to be a US Senator.

I add this comment: Obama's "swooning" press coverage is due to the fact that GE owns MSNBC & NBC; Westinghouse owns CBS; & they've got LOTs of ADvertising $$$ to spread around to every form of media.

Obama voted FOR the Cheney Energy Bill ... 29 more Nuclear power plants ... GE & Westinghouse are planning to reap $BILLIONS in profits from those nukes.

Hillary voted AGAINSt and says her Energy Plan does not include nuclear - unless & until they can make it CHEAPER AND find a way to stor the nuke waste SAFELY.

Hey Roy -- it's not sexism that makes people dislike Hillary -- it's that we remember the mess she made of a health plan when she had the chance to come up with one before; it's that she and her husband stole artifacts out of the White House when they left (he was impeached, remember?) which belonged to the people of America (true, when threatened with a lawsuit, they managed to return $28,000 worth), it's her penchant for lying; it's her blantant disrespect for the American people; it's her nastiness, her relentlessness in pursuing the presidency which she obviously regards as an entitlement and many, many more reasons.

We don't object to a woman becoming president of the U.S., just not THIS woman.

Even though I am a Hillary supporter I thought the "middle finger" incident was really silly and insignificant. Until now, when I see he did it TWICE! He did know what he was doing, and so did the crowd (I heard boo's in the second clip, but don't know what they were directed at). He is a disgrace. I can't believe the Democratic party I have supported for over 30 years is as corrupt as the Republicans. How can the DNC abandon Clinton to support this idiot?

By the way it's not true about the debate, it's just another example of shoddy journalism and tabloid statements from the media (myself) a lot like the debate. Answering questions about Rev. Wright is fair, IF you ask Hillary about her 'baggage' and what will that baggage be doing all alone in the White House? Or to ask John (Scarlet Letter) McCain about his Eliot Spitzer days and why his lack of morality in his youth will not affect his Presidency.

Someone called Bill a pig yesterday on MSNBC; what do you think the Republicans will do? And after throwing MOVE-ON.ORG under the bus; she could lose California. If I recall don't they have a Maverick Governor? Apparently she is saying she isn't leaving Iraq (per the anti-Move-On speech) and from the debate she is apparently going to expand the war to Iran. Can we say Nader and 15%???

I have been posting comments on-line about what it has been like to deal with some of the members of Obama's Senate staff.

Perhaps I am the only constituent who they have given the shaft to, but I cannot say for certain because the media has not bothered to report about the relationship between Senator Obama and his constituents.

The manner in which a senatorial staff relates to their constituents should reflect the philosophy of the boss. If that is the case with Obama’s, then yes, he is a con artist.

It is always shoddy journalism when Obama gets asked anything he does not want to answer.

Yes, of course he will not do any more debates. If he is forced to speak off the cuff his incompetency comes shining through.

Huh . . . I was talking about coverage of all three Patty. They just started covering Obama because Hillary was the Queen and she was inevitable. Now they are trying to catch up and fine the new 'shiny thing' with Obama and totally let her slide on the 1990's. She said the 1990's over and over but they not once said Monica? They can't say Hsu? I can't say Flowers? If Bill was with an intern in the White House and it literally took DNA to finally stop the guy from lying. And I guess Hillary was 'misled by Bill the same way she was by Bush? Is that a strong President? The whole thing was stupid; but all he had to do was tell the truth??? The President showed an utter lack of Morals and Class; either tell the truth or tell them its none of their business. He was stopped from killing Osama Bin Laden because he could not be faithfull to his wife. Hillary's entire campaign is the 1992 campaign updated. She will go into the White House like she did then, screaming Health Care; and we'll come out 8 years later with NAFTA, Normalized relations with China, a Republican Congress, and a Republican President.
