No, the endorsement is not in the mail. The American Postal Workers Union announced its support for Barack Obama with an e-mail sent to reporters a few minutes ago.
The union, which claims to be the largest postal union in the world, said its executive board voted to endorse Obama today.
"We are most impressed by Sen. Obama's commitment to eradicating the undue influence of special interests in the political process, union president William Burrus said in a statement. "Our current political system does not allow for the voices of average citizens to be heard over the demands of lobbyists and big-money campaign contributors."
The union says it represents approximately 300,000 postal workers with clerical, maintenance and motor vehicle-related jobs.

The "Neuman's" of America (the surly, the lazy, the losers-of-mail) endorse the Messiah. Whoopee!

If this union is responsible for how horrible the mail service is in Chicago then I suspect Obama just lost millions more votes than he gained from them from fed up postal "customers."

They'll probably leave their ballots at the wrong address anyway.

MJ - I guess you prefer the person who looks you square in the eyes and tells you - on three separate occassions - that She was under sniper fire.
And she is doing that while our soldiers are under REAL sniper fire. Then laughs it off on TV.

Actually, I personally know a couple of mail carriers. Neither plans on voting for Obama or Clinton. More than likely, the union did not poll its membership.
Unions = worthless
